I ended up chatting with Judith, exploring her shop, taking photos.....and completely forgot why I was headed up the hill in the first place. I was so enamored with everything in Mixt that I never could remember what I was supposed to do up on the hill. So I came back home. Thanks to Yelp, this spot was just 5 minutes away, and I was even able to wrap my gift while in the store! I was so thankful. I also had my one year old grand daughter with me, and she also felt welcome and found the toy selection to be very appealing! She picked out a cute little toy that had to come home with us. The selection is not quite the same as Card de A, but it is still nicer than going to a chain store and you're also supporting small business! I will definitely be back when I have more time to browse and will update my review again.
