She asked me to attend a "brushing class" which i did for free w her. I always felt confrontational w her like she didn't approve of me keeping my dog's hair long. Well it became apparent when she Hung up on me! I feel this was extremely unprofessional. I specifically asked her not to shave my dog and she did a 1 inch cut which to us is essentially shaved. Here are the pics. What's so bad is i feel she intentionally did this because she did not want to keep brushing my dogs long hair she said it was torturing her(the dog) and we weren't managing the hair well. I brush my dog's long hair w a wire brush and metal comb and then cut whatever knots out she has with scissors which i told her to do but her response was that will look choppy! So after expressing my displeasure of her decision to cut very short my long haired pup she hung up on me! Instead of cutting her hair so short, she should have said i am not comfortable with brushing and grooming her anymore and you should find a new cut. Instead she decided on her own to do this! And when my hubby picked our pup up that day, Jessica immediately said "she isn't shaved " which was apparently on my husband's shocked face, yes she was! Im not asking for my Money back but i do feel the owner of this "woman ran business" all woman only work there, should apologize for the unprofessional manner in which her employee conducted herself. Do not hang up on customers. In the future, Maybe take a class in how to be more professional in dealing with unsatisfied clients

I took my dog here for years. As far as the actual cut and price, she honestly always looked cute…read moreand the price was very fair. Although, she did have ear infections frequently after getting groomed there. They also had to muzzle her and told me it was because she hated being groomed and would be very aggressive with them. My dog is extremely friendly and loves people, and when I could find the time to groom her at home she was very mellow. This made no sense to me, but I took their word as "professionals" that she really didn't like the grooming process. The very last time I took her there, as I was going in to pick her up I was waiting in line behind a customer who was paying. The customer saw my dog in the crate and exclaimed "Oh, how cute!" Both of the women there (at least one of them was an actual OWNER) then responded to the customer in total seriousness "Oh, no, not her.. she's a little monster." I'm not sure if they realized I was there but I responded "Actually, she's a perfect sweetheart everywhere but here, apparently." Paid, took her home, and noticed she was abnormally flinchy. I had suspicions they were being rough with her. I took my dog somewhere else for the next grooming visit and warned them going in that my old groomers had to muzzle her. After the appointment I went to get her and the groomer went on and on about how sweet she was and how she couldn't believe they ever had to muzzle her. She said she loved my dog and was petting her and loving on her - something the ladies at CCC never did - and my dog was obviously very happy at this new groomer. My dog's temperament in this place was normal - happy and friendly, excited to be around people. Whereas at CCC she seemed nervous every time I took her in. This pretty much confirmed my suspicions that the groomers at Canine Classic Clips were mistreating my dog. If you care about your dog's well being I would highly recommend steering clear of this business. I would never trust them with my dog again, and I feel very guilty and regret that I took my animal there as long as I did.
