The beauty of this plan is that it is deceivingly simple. Only a few simple rules to follow: Write down everything you eat, if you don't know what the nutrition numbers are you can't eat it. Once you reach your calorie limit, stop eating (imagine that!) Exercise 30-60 mins a day and improve daily.
