So I thought a long, slow recovery from shoulder surgery was for "other people". I pushed myself and was as non-compliant as I could be. Right up until I ended up with Jennifer and Ashley at Premier. They helped me see how important it was to give myself a break; to take the time necessary for my body to heal. It seems like being a PT must be one part medical and one part psychological. I have been so pleased with my progress while in their care. When I'm gone for a few days, they call to check up to see how I'm doing. Jen B. at Premier Physical Therapy Associates is a small but mighty force when it comes to PTs. She has an innate way of making exercise, which can sometimes be painful, a fun experience. I actually look forward to going to my therapy sessions. The facility is clean (smells like a chlorine pool,) there is relaxing music playing, the magazines in the wait area are current, and the coffee is good! You can tell that all staff members care for the clients who come into their clinic. Everyone smiles and is friendly. I can't wait to be eligible to use the therapy pool. I've had to see several physical therapists over the years, and these therapists are the best (I actually enjoy going, for the first time ever!). Jen was recommended for dry needling, which has been amazing! While there for dry needling, I mentioned other issues I was having. Julie gave me a thorough examination and found the source of those problems - something other therapists and chiropractors had missed. Jen and her staff brought me back more than once from injuries and surgeries. The first time I went there, Jen was so bubbly and full of energy at 7 a.m. I thought, wow, I like it here! She (and her staff) are genuinely concerned about getting their patients back to living their lives. Jennifer spent 15 minutes with me assessing my neck pain and referred me onto another physician. The neurosurgeon I ended up with told me as he was reviewing MRI's and X-rays that my OT was "Astute." She caught my problem early and referred me onto other professionals. I of course, returned to her for recovery. Premier Therapy is beyond professional, but trustworthy, and you need to trust who is guiding you through pain. read more

I experienced a leg injury 5 days before going to the AKC Dog Agility Nationals were I had to run with my dog. Not only were they able to patch me up good enough to run the nationals (and do very well), but when I cam back we worked on a plan to rehab the leg. We are working together to get it back to 100%.
