Poor customer service/communication from management…read more Long story short: A few months ago I purchased a package of 6 for a service. After 2 treatments their equipment broke which resulted in postponement of 2 treatments. During this time I found out about an unanticipated move for my husbands job. I called to ask about a partial refund from the package since I had only used 2/6 treatments. I asked if I could be charged for the higher individual service price for the two used and refunded the rest that was unused (a difference of $300). This is where my frustration begins... I called twice, a week apart and left a message to ask about the refund. No call back. I stopped by for my 3rd attempt, was told they were in a meeting and someone would call me back. Nothing. I finally called a 4th time and asked them to make me an appointment with a manager to discuss and resolve the matter. I was put on hold and finally told I could come my and pick up a check for a partial refund (relayed through receptionist, still never spoke to a manager). When I picked up the check, it was $50 less than anticipated. I FINALLY talked to someone in management, but they did not have an explanation as to where that extra $50 went... While I am grateful for any refund at all and I am annoyed about the $50, my real frustration was lack of communication. If someone had simply gotten on the phone and had a 5 minute conversation with me a lot of that frustration would have been avoided.

I was referred to this clinic by a coworker because I felt that I had a "weird" looking mole. I am…read morea healthy 29 year old woman with no prior issues with my health. I went to my appt with Dr Madson and felt that he was completely arrogant and acted like I was overreacting with the mole I presented to him. Not only did he not look over my other moles, he told me he didn't think it was necessary to remove the one I was worried about. I insisted that I was worried about it and for peace of mind I wanted to just have it removed. He continued to act like I was wasting his time and stated he would remove it and because everything will be fine, I will receive a letter in the mail, stating my results. Two weeks went by and I get one of the worst calls of my life. The mole they removed had melanoma. Not only was Dr Madson wrong, his NURSE (not him) that delivered the news was inappropriately happy when speaking with me. She didn't act like this diagnosis was serious, when it fact it is life threatening. It didn't seem that she cared that she was giving me such a life altering call. Fast forward 3 days and I've had surgery at the same clinic with the same dr (I didn't want to, but they were the only ones able to get me the soonest). They took a 2 inch diameter of skin and almost an inch in depth to remove the melanoma. I also had 6 other moles removed to be biopsied (apparently he decided to take me serious). I have been In such terrible pain since my surgery and only had a few lortabs left. So I called the nurse (I already felt bad for calling in the first place because I figured they wouldn't give me the time of day). I explained to the nurse that I was taking ibuprofen with the lortab and alternating lortab intake with extra strength tylenol. I told her that I had a hard time breathing and wearing simple clothing without being in significant pain from all the extraction and that I was almost out of lortab. She told me that she was sorry but that I'm going to have to just deal with it and that what he gave me was enough. Excuse me, but NO IT WASNT. I am a nurse and I am in nurse practitioner school, pain is not what the doctor decides, it is what the patient says it is. If I have a patient tell me they are in pain, I believe them and don't tell them to "suck it up". The nurse then told me that he will not prescribe me anything else and she said "sorry". This alone would not have bothered me, but every added up is completely unprofessional and should not be tolerated by ANYONE.
