Exceptional, personal service, passionate cooking, warm and inviting atmosphere. The owners Chef Cristian and wife Karen are absolutely amazing and the sweetest. I'd been previously for various events, but this was the first trip just for a casual pop in and dinner. Went for nachos as a table, I snagged a birria burrito bowl, and we had a churro cheesecake for dessert. Chefs, absolute, kiss. You can taste the passion. There's a lot in the back for parking, and pricing is more than fair if not, a killer value in my opinion. Definitely check them out!

They are not serving alcohol anymore which is unfortunate to not be able to enjoy a margarita but they had a large mocktail list. We tried three different tacos (chicken, carne asada, and carnitas) and I loved being able to mix and match. The carne asada was probably my favorite but they all were swimming in oil. The skirt steak enchiladas were a standout and easily my favorite dish of the meal. The steak was tender, the portions were generous, and everything came together really well. The queso was rich and creamy, and the fresh guacamole was a great starter while we waited for our food. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our meal, and the overall atmosphere made it a really enjoyable place to spend the evening.

I got the breakfast burrito and added crispy cheese... it's probably the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. It's also MASSIVE. I ate half and was very full... so I waited an hour and then ate the other half. Now I'm plain old stuffed. I also got a horchata cold brew... likewise, this may be my new favorite cold brew now. I thought it might be a bit too sweet initially but that thought quickly disappeared. Delicious with great depth of flavor. I will definitely be back to eat inside with friends soon. Lots of booths! Plenty of parking outside as well.

The ambiance is very modern, with smooth tables and an enormous, vaulted ceiling. Service was quick and efficient, with a cash register/ordering station, and a separate pick-up station to the left. Took about ten minutes to prep my burritos. I ate one of them at home, saving a breakfast burrito for later in the week. Delicious carnitas burrito, good salsa. There is parking in back, and some on the side street without paying. The menu appears unique, a mix of traditional and fusion. Prices are in the $15 range for an entree. Food delivered warm, in aluminum wrap. Generous portion, quite satisfying. Note: Please participate in my proposed National Hispanic Small Business Week, starting Monday, Feb 2, to Monday, Feb 9. Make a point of buying goods and services from local Hispanic businesses. Help defeat the plans of those that want all Hispanics purged from the United States. Thank you. I tip my top hat.

I haven't updated this since the last time I lived in Minnesota!…read more When we moved back, Orale was one of the first places we went back to. I love this place, and the food is on par with a lot of Mexican food in California. Most recently, we went to celebrate a birthday. We go here because they are veggie friendly. We ordered the veggie enchiladas and I got a veggie wet burrito. Everything was delicious. My only complaint would be that things could be a bit saucier...but that's a preference thing and we get salsa on the side for it. We also got chips and guac -- delicious as well! I will say that the portions, especially the burrito are VERY generous. I think I should have shared it! It was pretty buzzy, which was great to see given the depths of winter we were in. Go here!!

It's a bit whitewashed and leans more Cal-Mex than anything you'd find in Mexico, but I'm not complaining. I love a good California burrito and asada fries, so this style has its place (especially in Minnesota). Service can be slow. It took us about an hour to get two burritos yesterday and the restaurant didn't look busy. Maybe they were just short staffed. My main issue is the salsa. They limit you to one packet per person, and it's not the slightest bit spicy. And where are the limes? This place desperately needs a salsa bar with real options and some heat. Bump up the salsa selection and stop rationing it, and this would be a solid spot. For now, I'll keep getting this to go and buying my own salsa and limes.

To begin with, our table and the menus given to us were very dirty and had lots of visible food tidbits, which made us have to clean things up a bit ourselves. That was okay, though, because I have experienced worse and wouldn't choose to let it impact my judgment to such an extent. I thought the only item that was solid was my lengua torta, which had a good amount of stuff inside ranging from meat to lettuce to mayo, and made me full in a very satisfactory way. A lot of the tacos were dry and reliant on the lime for a little bit of juice, including the birria tacos. My partner ordered the chicken, shrimp, and fish tacos, and thought they all tasted mediocre. Personally I enjoyed having some radishes because they cleansed my palate when needed. Another unfortunate event was that later that night, I experienced a severe stomachache and had to throw up. Granted, I have not tried their birria with consomé yet, which per my understanding was what made them famous since the beginning of time, at least according to a piece of newspaper I had seen next to the bathroom. Next time when I visit, I will try such instead, which I hope can provide me with an improved experience.

Let's start with service, the server was nice enough, but very rarely came by to refill drinks. The others were taken quickly, but the food all came out at wildly different times. I received my food probably 20-25 minutes before the last person received theirs. The wave was maybe 2 people's food at a time. The whole free dip with 5 Birria tacos was confusing as no one really knew which tacos qualified. As for the food, the horchata was okay. It wasn't super flavorful and seemed poorly mixed. I had to take the top off to try and mix it better, but the straw didn't work well. The goat Birria was very bland to me. I added all the hot sauce, but still couldn't even really taste it. I ended up mainly just dipping the tortillas in the green sauce, which wasn't bad. Perhaps I came on an off day. I'm not sure I would go back though.

In terms of taste, the birria ramen was very salty, to the point that I had to water it down a bit to finish it. I appreciated the idea of having this option but I seriously think more meat and more noodles are needed for the consomé to not have an overpowering taste. The tacos tasted good as usual and had a good amount of ingredients which I loved. Previously I came here to get lengua tacos and they had very little dry lengua meat. The torta was also good in the most conventional way, which grilled chicken, mayo, and more. Back in the days I used to order a tray of tacos, 25 of them, for about $75 which I believe is still the case for the same price. I know that people in general will appreciate this establishment for its affordability on comfort food that will feed lots.
