Doesn't look like much when you walk in...until you try their tacos or (my absolute favorite) quesadillas. I've never had better rice and quesadillas than Los Primos. This place is always packed and people eating out on benches outside the place. We've been eyeing it for a while. Read reviews, had high hopes.... so this past Friday during lunch time we gave it a try.... What the hubby and I were left with was stomach aches for the next 12-14 hrs. This is the third time I come in this store and the cashiers are the rudest ! Everyone else in the store is pretty nice and everything seems fresh until you check out ! I've been going to Los Primos on the regular with my boyfriend for a couple months now and we absolutely love it. The environment is so inviting and the smell of the baked goods hits you right as you walk in. The burritos and tacos are amazing as well as the pastries they have in store. Los Primos is a staple in the surrounding latino community. The place is half store half restaurant and all Latino. The only thing I shop the store for here is meat and tortillas. Try getting the diesmillo cut a little thicker than their usual and ask them to season it. Then also but the Milagro tortillas go home throw that steak on the grill for a nice char and enjoy the tacos you make with it! The restaurant side is always a great choice for a quick bite. They have various meats to choose from and you can make them in dishes, tacos, tortas etc. They also have decent tamales. A great choice is a torta chilanga which is so unhealthy but thats what makes it great. Basically its two tamales inside a bolillo (torta bread) then add some pico and sour cream. You'll love it I guarantee it. The place may not look the most appetizing but it definitely has that homemade flavor you'll enjoy. read more

Not going to find a better taco in Franklin. Authentic for sure. The barbacoa is on point, the chicharrón is perfect as is the al pastor. Definitely a well kept secret in town. They've got Mexican Coke and Pepsi, and a bunch of other jarritos. Don't be alarmed with the decor... it's like walking into a dollar store, that happens to have a taqueria and butcher shop in it. This place is seriously legit! We just got here from Chicago and have been on the hunt for "damn good tacos" and let me tell you... THIS IS IT. The bar is always set high cause of how spoiled we are with the quality of food in Chicago, we could never find these quality tacos in Nashville. They have a large selection of meats on the menu, doubles as a grocery store and bakery as well. What is really cool is they serve you hot fresh tacos and you get to choose your toppings from a bar. This is on of those unique finds that I was surprised to be in Franklin. The interior is like a market, and you can find a bakery, meet counter, hot counter as well s some grocery finds. had a tamale and some tacos and they were about as authentic as you can get. they have a large selection of finds that you wont get at most Mexican restaurants like tongue and menudo and the flavors were spot on. I love closer to Antioch . My in Laws LIVE in Antioch , close to the Lake . For a while they had been mentioning Los Primos ( but they never invited me lol) and how good the tacos were . Let's keep in mind that Nolensville is full of Taco Trucks so I thought "I've tasted almost every taco truck on Nolensville , not much of difference in taste" so I decided to take my mom to Franklin and try Los Primos ! Today I went into this business to order authentic tacos. I was excited to try this place for the first time. As I walked up to the counter, I was the first one that walked up, everyone was working and wouldn't acknowledge me or take my order. As more customers walked up to order, their orders were taken and I then asked in Spanish, can I give my order. The lady then told me to get in line!!
