Good tacos, but old lady scammed my white ass out of like 5 dollars lol, Says 1.50 per small taco on their menu, I pull out a ten and hear her go 9.50 please she takes my ten and goes back inside says THANK YOU, lol, great tacos but pretty sure she just slid herself an extra 5

The food and the service were both immaculate! Brenda was so sweet and helped make recommendations when I wasn't sure what I wanted. 10/10. Can't wait to go back!

    6 tacos and the fixings

This is a taco food truck-based restaurant with indoor seating, though we opted for to-go. I got 6 tacos: asada, pastor, chicharron, beef tongue, barbacoa, and carnitas. What's nice is that similar to some taco stands, they give a lot of fixings like jalapeño pepper, grilled green onions, and radish, along with lime, onion, and cilantro, as well as avocado sauce. Tacos themselves are just average with an acceptable amount of meat, decently priced at $1.75 per taco. The issue I had was that the tortillas were soggy, so oil from the al pastor taco seeps through the entire dish.

Visited 3 times during our 5 day stay in Nashville. Most authentic and tastiest tacos we have had in a long time. The only tacos we can compare to CA Mexican food. The best al pastor in the area!

A-mazing Al Pastor Tacos! They are so flavorful and pure deliciousness. I'm a huge taco truck fan, and have my favorite ones depending on what area of town I'm in, but these Al Pastor are the best in Nashville for sure. I just realized it's bc it's cut right off the spit. A sign of a great taco place for sure! I'm from So Cal and am used to having really good Mexican around, so I'm just glad I found another great truck! The green salsa is bomb too. Definitely worth stopping by to try this humble place out!

I've tried a good handful of Nolensville Pike taco trucks and Tacos Lopez does not disappoint. We ordered 7 tacos -- barbacoa, pollo, carnitas, chorizo, and pastor. Food came out quickly with red and green sauce on the side. We ordered it to go and I will say the shells were a little soggy by the time we got home, but partially that was our fault for taking them to go. I think we could have gotten two more, as they are pretty small, but they pack a flavor punch and for $11 or so for two people, it's a great lunch option. Tacos come with grilled onions, raw onions and cilantro, and radishes, as well as the two sauces that have some good heat and flavor. Compared to some other taco trucks in the area, I thought the fillings were more juicy and flavorful, which is why I'm giving Lopez 5 stars.

This tortas is flavorful, and it's as big as my face

I want to keep this place a secret all to myself but my sense of responsibility as a Yelper drives me to share it. Taste calibration: When I crave Mexican food I choose a taco truck on or near Nolensville Pike over almost all sit-down Mexican restaurants (especially Las Palmas). I'm talking any taco truck. I'm talking sight unseen. Their flavor, presentation, accoutrements, all take me back to my home town of El Paso, TX, and the across-the-border town of Juarez, Mexico. This place has been around for years but is so inconspicuous it's easy to miss. I have been here dozens of times over the years, and would have even more if I didn't have the urge to try new places all the time. There are a small handful of taco trucks that I have not tried yet but among the dozens I have this is one of my all time favorites. The flavor is authentic, the price is decent (middle of the road among taco trucks), the hours are long, the servers hustle. Even though it is a taco truck it is pretty much a permanent fixture, and the ways to get food are: 1. Pull into a parking space and a server comes to you like a car hop for your order and with your food. 2. Sit at the picnic table and the server comes to you like a picnic table hop for your order and with your food. 3. Sit in the small building that the truck is parked in front of (sounds weird to end this sentence fragment with a preposition but I'm drunk on tortas and tacos so I can't fix it) and act like you are in a regular sit-down restaurant with table service. If this one leaves it's not the end of the world because there are other very good taco trucks (most of them). But I would be sad because this one has been there for me consistently and always takes me back home.

The place filled up pretty decently for a Monday afternoon, but our service was still great. Spicy, skinny margaritas on happy hour always make me happy. They were good, too -- plus a tajin rim *chefs kiss*. We had chips and salsa, fajitas, tacos, taco salads, and everything was solid. I wouldn't say my salad was mind blowing, but I was happy with it. Most of the disappointment came from the hostess, Emily. She seemed rushed the entire time--she took our drink order, but while we were still looking at the menu, she walked away. She came back briefly, then left again, making it hard for us to ask questions or get recommendations. Because of that, we didn't get any guidance on what to order. When the food arrived, mine was way too spicy for me to eat. Thankfully, another waiter stepped in and offered an alternative I might like, which I appreciated. Overall, the service felt rushed and inattentive, and the experience just wasn't enjoyable. I wouldn't go back.

My friend started with the 'Strawberry Frozen Margarita' and I got the 'Pink Sunglasses' drink which came with small Barbie looking sunglasses as a garnishing. We shared the 'Chips and Salsas' which came with lime tortilla chips, smoked tomato salsa, and green tomatillo salsa. This was delicious. The salsas were so fresh and refreshing! I would come back just for this. I do not remember what entree my friend got, but she loved it. I got the 'Gringo' tacos which were spicy ground beef, lettuce, chipotle ranch, pico de gallo, cheddar cheese and hard shell tacos. This was really good. They were not kidding when they said spicy beef. This definitely had a kick, and I love that they were hard shell tacos. I really do not like the soft shell tacos. Service was friendly and quick. Margarita was only $10, but (not solely their fault) buy over $31 for the two drinks after taxes (3 different taxes totaling $5). So far I'd give them 4-5 starts, but now we moved upstairs to listen to the band playing. Good band that we only caught the tail end of their set. Before we realized what was happening, an employee grabbed one of our tables and took off with it. When I caught up to her and said we had a full table of people, she replied,"Those tables don't belong out there!" and she walked away and wouldn't acknowledge me. Another employee seemed a bit sheepish and explained they clear the tables for a dance floor. This left us with no tables as they took our other tables away. Based on the experience, I won't go back. There are way too many good choices along Broadway with great music, reasonable drink prices and friendlier staff. Casa Rosa missed the mark!
