One of the best breakfast burritos I've had, and one of the biggest! I could only eat 3/4 of it. And the salsa verde and hot sauce were sooo good. Very fast walk in to go order. Friendly staff and very welcoming feel. Would love to try more of the menu.

Service was extremely friendly & and fairly fast saying they do not claim to be a fast food restaurant. The food I ordered(Macho Burrito) was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended.

This chili toreado was the best thing we got.

Absolutely disappointed! There was no effort in any of the plates we ordered. Carne asada fries have no pico nothing special, birria quesadilla has dry meat and cheese. Maybe you have to order consomé on side.

We found this place while visiting Mesquite. We ordered the carne asada burrito and California burrito that includes french fries inside. We enjoyed the hot chips and salsas fresh from the fryer and real Mexican Coca Cola while we waited for our burritos. Everything was delicious and we took half of our burritos with us for later enjoyment. Because everything is made to order it is not fast food but it was definitely worth waiting for.

I had the macho burrito. I ended up picking out half of the jalapeños out of the burrito. I don't mind spicy but there was as much jalapeños as meat in the burrito. A bit excessive. It could have been in OK burrito if they didn't go to such extremes. After picking out half of the jalapeños the burrito fell apart. Plus the eating area is kind of dumpy. The kitchen looked clean but they can definitely fix up the dining area.

Cheese enchiladas with red sauce. Mexican apple soda - my favorite but it's often hard to find. Very hot homemade salsas.

This small casual restaurant in a shopping center is superb. They say everything is made to order and that is obvious. Service is good although one person may be doing everything so don't expect it to be fast. The food is made fresh, is authentic, and is very good. I had enchiladas. When I asked for chips, I got some made fresh. Give it a try.

4 1/2 out of 5. Hole in the wall goodness. They display a sign that says... "This is not a fast-food restaurant". Your food is prepared after you order so the wait can be significant. It is so worth it though. I had the Chorizo Tacos, and they were exceptional. After scraping off half of the cilantro, they were some of the best tacos I've ever consumed. My co-pilot ordered a Beef Quesadilla. It was huge and stuffed with tender beef. She couldn't finish it. Luckily, I was there to rescue her. I really enjoyed having to clean her plate of this unique and tasty offering. What a meal. Highly recommend.

Friendly staff and yummy food. Pescatarian friendly. We ordered the nachos (subbed the meat for avocado). It was delicious. Not spicy. Next time I'd request less onion. The portion size was large and we could have just ordered that between my husband and I. We also ordered the shrimp burrito, another win. read more

The staff were very accommodating in changing an order. The cheese enchiladas were a bit bland I would go with chicken next time. However the Chile relleno was one of the best I have had. read more

I live in Vegas, but once a week I come out to mesquite for work. And this place is all I can think about. It makes the drive worth coming out here. I usually get the huge California burrito and add chipotle sauce to it. The fries inside the burrito stay crispy which is key! And carne asada nachos is sooo bomb. I really believe this place is underrated. This place is my "go-to" spot. The people are nice and the place is clean. read more

This place has changed hands. They used to be so great and now, its always empty in there and not surprised. They used to have a great selection of a "salsa" bar, with condiments and sides. Well thats gone. Also, they have NO AC! You can't stand to sit in there and eat as its so hot. So what are they thinking???? You can't have a restaurant here and no AC, and expect people to buy your food, except for take out. They are always dead now inside. They will go out of business if they keep this up. Food is ok, but they are going deeper into oblivion in my opinion. Turn your AC back on. When asked, they say its broken..... Get a clue or close shop. read more

I've eaten Mexican food all my life, and one of the ways you can tell a restaurant knows what they're doing is when they make their own sauces. SO much better than canned or jarred. My husband and I stopped to have some enchiladas at this little place in Mesquite. It doesn't look like much and it's in a strip mall, but the sauce on the enchiladas was the BOMB. My red sauces had dark little flakes in it, evidence the restaurant made it, and was so smooth and delicious. My husband's green sauce had tiny chunks of tomatillos and was sour and a little hot, just like you want green sauce to be. The owner's son cooked the food and served it, and he was a delight to talk to. This place needs to survive, so go eat their food! read more

Good food, could be a bit warmer though, the cheese in my burrito didn't even melt. My biggest issue is that the food is pretty bland, normally the sauces make up for this, but they don't have sauces out for you to self-serve (probably due to Covid). I ordered 3 meals and got 2 small containers of sauce, and this was after I asked for extra sauces and offered to pay for the extra. read more

First visit I had cheese enchiladas. They were yummy. Came with rice and beans. Did even need salsa. I did the red sauce because they said green was really spicy. My husband had a California burrito and it was huge. Second time I ordered the 3 tacos with carne asada. They came with 2 corn tortillas and enough meat to make six tacos. Husband had chicken burrito and said it was even better than the first one. Needless to say, we will be going back. read more

We've eaten Mexican all over, but never found GREAT Mexican food in Mesquite until today. All the rest in town is adequate, but never good enough to frequent on the regular. Our lunch was awesome! I had a carnitas burrito that was hot, fresh and delicious, the best I've ever had! The carnitas was flavorful and CRISPY, beans were WHOLE and the pico FRESH! My husband had the carnitas tacos and, again, delicious! The only way to make it better would be a pitcher of strong margaritas and maybe a salsa bar, but it's a taqueria not a full fledged restaurant. I'll be happy to pick up our meals and make the margaritas at home! read more
