Passing through Clinton on our way to the family cabin and we stopped for a late lunch. Walked in and were seated immediately - the chips and salsa actually made it to the table just before we did, what excellent service. We placed our orders and shortly thereafter our food was served hot. I had the chicken chimichanga with refried beans which was delicious. There was a steady stream of customers and all the food looked and smelled delicious. There are several other Los Locos locations, if they are anything like this one they are worth a visit! read more

For around here (Clinton) it is about average. I eat there once a week or so. (choices are very limited here) The chips and salsa could be better as the chips are very thin, and like everyplace in this part of the state that can't help but cover almost everything in a thick chese sauce ( you need to ask them to hold). read more

Fajitas were very good taste-wise, great portions, chips fresh, salsa nice amount of spice blend/texture, server was pleasantly quick and accurate, we'd come back and order same dishes; only ding: marinated chicken would have taken flavor to new height. read more

We were driving from Branson back down to Texas and looking for a vegetarian friendly restaurant for lunch. Boy, did we pick the right spot! Los Locos was fast, friendly, and super fresh food. Being from San Antonio, we know goid Mexican foid. If this were in my town, I'd quickly move it to the top of my list. By the looks of it, it's a town favorite in Clinton, and I can see why. My husband got the veggie fajita platter with all the fixins'. I special ordered some chalupas with beans, guacamole, lettuce, tomatoes, and pico w no cheese or sour cream, and they came out perfect. The hot chips and perfectly seasoned salsa were on the table before we sat down and kept coming from their friendly staff. Of course, they have beef and chicken dishes, too. Great staff. It was busy when we went but we always had refills and they checked in several times. Great food and huge serving size. We got fajitas for 2 but it would definitely feed three, if not more. Everyone enjoyed their meals, the drinks were good too. We tried the house Sangria and it was wonderful. read more

"One of the best Mexican restaurants I've ever eaten"-my daughter Our family ate here on vacation. We had been hiking and swimming all day and were ready for a good meal. Los Locos did not disappoint. The staff worked together beautifully!! Our drinks and chips were never empty. The salsa was excellent! We ordered a large cheese dip which came out with enough bowls to split and share evenly. Each family members meal was perfect to order and a generous portion size. I had the basket special. It was fried fish and shrimp with fries. Fries were very good, not your usual frozen fried potatoes usually served at other restaurants. I would have liked the fish fried just to a golden brown instead of the dark brown, slightly over fried. Likewise the shrimp. Shrimp does not require, and should not be fried for as long as fish. Thus, the shrimp was firm. However, both were good, and flavorful. The dipping sauce served with the meal was tasty. It was apparantly a mustard based sauce. I could taste some vinegar and some hot pepper flavor that was nit overpowering. I enjoyed it instead of catsup as I would have otherwise used. The service was friendly and prompt.
