I don't want to pay $50k or $60 for a brand new SUV because I probably won't keep it too long after my move. The price of gas going the way it is an SUV would kill my wallet just driving around town. The sales person with whom I've dealt is David. No pressure. He let me test drive the thing. Then, he let me off of the car lot without tackling me and pinning me to the parking lot. I really appreciate his time and his demeanor. I'm still researching a few more vehicles, but I so appreciated this man's time and the way he interacted with me that I know I'll be going back. I did go to Car Expo in Downey to see a Ford Expedition King Ranch. The salesman wanted to pin me down as to whether or not I would be making a purchase today. I said I wasn't sure, but I wanted to test drive the vehicle to see how I like it. The salesman would not let me test drive it, and when he did get the keys for it it wouldn't start. Can you believe it? I guess that it wasn't meant to be. The vehicles at Uruapan are clean, the lot and business itself are really clean and the professional staff makes someone feel at home. I'm giving Uruapan four stars because I haven't made the purchase, yet. I'll write more later to tell you of the whole experience from start to finish. In the meantime, a customer is buying a vehicle as well as the salesperson's time. Some dealerships might remember that.

I purchased a Ford Lighting truck back in 10/20/17 that broke down with major problems 2.5 weeks…read morelater. He tried to screw me over with the AS-IS document they have you sign because its a used car. But since i was his business neighbor and truck only showed 88K miles he said he would fix it. Long story short, after a 3 weeks of him having it, I came back in town and when they TRIED to deliver it to me it broke down again. Paid $5500 cash down and made 2 payments to bank and as of now 1/29/18 still have no truck. Going back and forth with bank and filed a claim with DMV. Now just got a call that its in a repo yard and bank has no idea why since I have made my payments even tho i have no truck to save my credit. My son got a Honda from him a few months prior and was in a accident and car was totaled. He said he tried braking getting off the freeway and the car would not stop. Should of learned my lesson but now I really have. SEE YOU IN COURT !!! ERIC and beware of what your getting here. If this is what he will do to a so called friend/neighbor, imagine if your not? After the contract was sign my father went one day after and told the salesman he no longer was interested in the car . Salesman (which till today we have no name) try to do everything in his power not to return the downpayment . How do you make someone who does not understand English properly sign a contract . That contract was done incorrectly if it is not bilingual ( when someone speaks Spanish only) Come to our surprise the manager statement was " well good luck trying to find you downpayment " and hang up the phone . I have report this to consumer affairs and I fee sorry for people who put there trust in this type of business. Thankful for site like yelp where you can alert other customers of this type of business and treatments. People do your self a favor do the research who you are making business with. I spoke to the salesman myself , I have never felt so irritated in my life . A salesman who does not have a good attitude who is willing to tell you " give us a bad review, we also have a lot on Vernon review that one as well " and does not have the owner interested in mind well it speaks for itself. This people are trying to grab your money and go . Do yourself a favor go to car max or drive-time. Yes it might be more expensive but you get what you pay for . Like the other review here this people are shady and will do anything in their power to make sure you pay the double amount for a car you might not even get to take home . After trying to speak in a civilized manner with the "manager/salesman" he has the nerve to tell me well we won't give your dad the downpayment and the car is going to probably be resold . Wow my jaw drop . I hope the owner reads this and knows he has a lot to lose . People are not stupid, people do not live in the cave ages . They had their mechanic check it out, sending us pictures of him looking at it to make us more comfortable. Mechanic said it checked out great. Haven't drove the car except home that night and then woke up next morning to a puddle of fluids underneath. We took it to a reputable shop. They said it was poorly fixed with major parts jb welded. And it should not be driven. Also they sold us a warranty that won't cover any cost of getting it fixed because of the crap that's been done to it. Please stay away from this place!
