Cheese kake, vanilla ice cream and berries. The flake stucked in the kake is made of cheese. Delicious! Recomended.

Wonderful place to dine or have drinks. Guys don't miss on their rooftop it's really nice and open air. Food is wonderful and the dessert is out of this world. I highly recommend this place if you want to experience locals lifestyle

One of our favorite restaurant! We are coming back very often and everything always taste great. Super fresh boquerones and tasty calamary. We also like so much grilled cheese and croquetas. Interior is super nice and up part is the best where to Sit :) the true is that deserts are too much complicated for me and I just don't like them. But I'm not eating there to eat desert:) so still 5 stars !

We were looking for a brunch place in the Salamanca neighborhood and accidentally walked into Los Gallos. The place certainly lives up to the reputation of the entire neighborhood. The service was quick and courteous despite the fact the our waiters did not speak English. The food was very good. I ordered 1/2 portion of steak tartar and that was more than enough. The sauce that came with the dish was quite unique and delicious. In general it seemed that 1/2 a portion was a pretty good size for a brunch meal. We certainly enjoyed our experience and would gladly eat here again.

    Great bar area. Great atmosphere.

Great atmosphere, location, service and food. Traditional plates with a contemporary and creative twist and taste.

Interesting concept for a restaurant, but ultimately I felt that the experience and taste fell a…read morebit short, especially for a Michelin star restaurant. In terms of food, there were some great components--the snout was super tender and the sauce that came with it was very flavorful. However, I found that some of the other dishes were chewy in texture, and that the refinement of the flavorful was lacking for a menu of this price. The idea of using offal for dessert is certainly interesting, but it felt like they were adding ingredients for the sake of creativity, and felt like they didn't actually belong in the dish. I had an early reservation compared to local dining habits, so the restaurant was very empty during my dinner. This probably contributed somewhat to the service feeling a bit uncomfortable, but overall it was a bit cold and it felt like the staff were staring me down as I ate my meal.

We stayed at the Hotel Sardinero in Chambri where there are more Michelin Star restaurants within a…read morefew minutes walk than there are within an 8 hour drive of where we live in Milwaukee. But most of them average a months pay but this one is only a little expensive (under 200 Euro for two). We were able to make reservations on their website, it's very close to the Nuevos Minesterios Metro station, though you need to pay attention to signs, that is a huge station. Near a beautiful high end shopping mall if you need a Rolex or the like. When we got to the restaurant it seemed oddly familiar, yes we knew it from Eva Longoria's travel through Spain limited series. In the Madrid episode she looked like she really enjoyed the food here in spite of the fact that it is locally sourced offal. Of course she's an actress but it turns out she wasn't acting, the chef is a brilliant creative Spanish chef who has been inspired by traditional rural cooking from poor areas that learned to make every part of farm animals and weeds taste good. The many courses sound pretty scary but try to ignore what they are made of and savor the unique complex flavors, it's ecstasy. Unlike high class restaurants in the States, a couple of glasses of good wine will not significantly add to the bill. Don't fill up on the delicious bread. Even dessert was a complicated combination of flavors I've never encountered and I've eaten a lot of different meals around the world. Every course was a work of art, visually and to taste. A place like this is why I don't like to dole out 5 star reviews like that's the norm. This is a definite 5 YELP star dining experience. The chef and many of the staff from the television show were here, his book is for sale and he will autograph it. However if it puts you even a kilo over your luggage limit, TAP Air Portugal will nail you with a 100 Euro fee.

You have the option between a bowl and a pita for both, and all the proper accoutrements for a proper falafel. The hummus is exactly what you want and the tahini is to die for. We had not had lunch and have travel all over Madrid today and thought a quick bite of Mediterranean food sounded good. We went inside to find one lady behind the counter working by herself. She is a machine! We were given an English menu and looked around to see what others were eating. I ordered the falafel pita with hummus, tahini, carrots, tomatoes, cucumbers, spice, pickles and tumeric sauce. This pita was stuffed and it took both hands to eat. My wife ordered the hummus bowl with tahini, onions, chickpeas and olive oil. A perfectly warm, fluffy pita was also included. The falafel balls were great and flavor packed. It took all my energy to finish this packed pita. The tumeric and carrots were a different taste and enjoyable. A good choice. The hummus bowl with soft chickpeas were delicious. Hummas is always great with a warm pita. Again, the value was also good especially for the generous portions. Looking for good value and tasty food, do yourself a favor and stop at Falafeleria at lunch. To the young lady behind the counter, great service and thank you.

The service is a little bit on the slower side, but each dish comes out plated very well. They have a good variety of dishes and the portion sizes are decent for sharing. The majority of tables are in their own little alcove making it very private and romantic. My husband and I felt like we were secluded in our little space. We started with delicious glasses of wine and the amuse Bouche (they do charge for this, 2 euro per person). We shared the butterfish and arroz in a creamy red sauce with seafood. The food was delicious! We ended the meal with a light and airy cheesecake. They added a candle for my celebration! We were amazed that this entire meal came out to only about $60! Wild! It was such a delicious meal and such a gorgeous setting, especially for the price.
