"Veal with potato purée" == old milk cow with porridge rice.
    Joe B.

Slow service (okay, granted we were quite the crowd), water tasted like chlorine, wine was bad (maybe our boss was cheap) and then the waiter dropped one of the courses on the floor and it was not replaced(!!!) Finally for the main course the menu said veal with potato purée, but we were served some old milk cow with arborio rice(!) I went through three knifes trying to cut that rubbery old piece of steak. Can it get worse than this?

This is one of my Madrid favorites. You need a reservation for sure, and if you want to go Thursday-Saturday for dinner make sure to make the reservation at least one week in advance, as it's always very crowded. The atmosphere is amazing, whether you go only to have a drink or to have dinner. My favorites are: Berenjenas en tempura con miel de caña y hummus, Croquetas de chipirones and Kebab de jarrete. All their desserts are amazing but if you want to go for something simple and delicious, try the Tarta Feliz Cumpleaños!

Nice place. Very good cocktails and food. Although not a lot of options for vegetarians. Make reservation in advance to secure your spot

We ordered a salad which was a very unique dining experience because it came in a pot with scissors. You cut pieces off and topped it with chicken and egg plant it was honestly really cool. Next we had a Spanish pancake which was ok I personally wasn't crazy about it but it was good nothing crazy though. We followed this up with the croquets which were small but very tasty filled with ham and cheese. We then had the Potito or Baby Jar. It's egg mixed with truffle and garlic in a small jar. It was one of my favorites so much flavor in this dish. It went really well with the bread they serve. The duck racks were also very good nice amount of different flavors from all the assortment of toppings they bring you. The last tapa we had was the star of the show. The flaming steak was amazing m. The perfectly cooked steak was seasoned to perfection and they literally brought a fire to your table when they cooked it. I was in love with this dish and would definitely recommend it as a must have. For desert the last thing we had was the crema de queso. Definitely an interesting take on desert. This place is amazing one of the best dinner experiences I have had. Thank you Anthony Bourdain!!! Pro tip: this place is kind of hard to find. It's immediately next to a restaurant with a black cat on its front door.

The restaurant was not extremely packed, but it was lively. It took a minute to find someone to seat us, and once we were seated our waiter told us we had about 10 minutes to order before the kitchen closed, although they advertised being open until 2am. We kept wondering why everyone was looking out at our table from the kitchen but no wait staff came over until finally we realized there was a buzzer on our table that we could use to summon the wait staff, get our check etx. When the waitress came over she was friendly and assured us we had enough time to order what we wanted from the kitchen. She also tried to speak English as best she could to explain what the dishes were. We ordered some typical tapas - Ravioli Burrata, Chicken Wings, Croquetas, Gyoza of Ropa Vieja, and Duck Tacos. The tacos were flavorful and the Gyozas were delicious. The other tapas were just ok, didn't stand out any more than others. I did not like the texture of the Ravioli and it is a cold dish so seemed bland to me. I thought the food was good overall, but it did seem a little pricey.

The decor leading up to the rooftop was absolutely stunning and like nothing I've ever seen. The dining area was intimate and nicely lit. Upon sitting, our servers immediately greeted my party. They explained the menu briefly. I will say that throughout my visit, I was checked on by my server, multiple times. It was not overwhelming, and they genuinely wanted to make sure I had the best experience. Based on our servers recommendation I ordered the aperitivos. Came with delicious warm bread and butter, tempura prawns, dumplings, egg rolls, salmon tartare and crab rangoons. Everything was delicious. I also ordered the burrata. I was blown away by each and every dish. As far as drinks, this restaurant has the most unique and delicious cocktail. I tried the Sayonara Baby, No me llames muñeca, Taparrabos de Adan y Eva, Al Agua Patos, Love Potion, and Maracas de Machin. All of the drinks were delicious, refreshing and insanely cute. You could easily tell there was a lot of care and details put into each drink. If you cannot tell by this review, the food is beyond delicious. This was a perfect evening with great service and great food.

As a solo diner, they served ~all of the things I ordered in a half portion, which was super helpful for being able to try more items. The food was delicious. Don't skip the tomato salad, as it sounds like a dumb thing to order, but I swear these were the best tomatoes I've eaten... like ever. Honestly, everything I had here was amazing! You can't go wrong with any of the tortillas, and the yogurt and fig jam is a great choice for dessert if you want a bit of sweetness to finish off the meal, but nothing too heavy.

The bone marrow had this glaze that overpowered the marrow. Whoever salted the tomatoes had a heavy hand as got more salt flavor than tomatoe which could tell with few that avoided the salt were good. They had hard bread waiting on table which we got charged for though did not ask for them. The Foie gras bonbbons were good. There speciality dish tortilla were good as not often get ones with truffle. My dessert was similar to what have gotten at a TGI Fridays. Liked the wine which was affordable. Not sure had larger list as menu we got was limited
