    Chile rellano burrito
    Deangela S.

I just got this Chile rellano burrito less than an hour ago and have been enjoying it during my break. It is probably one of the best burritos I've had in the area and the ladies who made it had great customer service. They were so nice and accommodating. They made it fresh and right in front of me. Decent price as well and the portions are generous.

Soft tacos Al pastor everything on it. Chips and salsa

They make the corn tortillas fresh throughout the day. Lots of construction workers come here constantly. I have only gotten the regular soft taco, AL pastor. It's delicious and they load it up with a great portion. 2 of them with some chips and I'm full, 3 of them I'll have a leftover taco. 3.75 each taco but we'll worth it. The regular soft Tacos come with rice, your choice of beans, meat, Pico DE Gallo, your choice of salsa, cilantro and onion (if you want it) Get the Al pastor, you won't regret it!!

Stumbled upon this place with my friends, and snaaaaaaaap. You always gotta go where all the construction workers are lined up at. What a find! Come through and get the super burrito.

The food didn't taste fresh. The chips were stale and the Salsa was fermenting literally tasting fizzy when I tasted it.

There is something special about a restaurant that stays part of your life for that long. So many memories with friends started here and it has remained one of our go to spots whenever we want something reliable and delicious. My personal favorite is their shrimp cocktail. It is consistently amazing and I always order it with extra limes. Something about the freshness and the balance of flavors just hits perfectly every time. Places like Mar y Mar are hard to replace. When a restaurant can stay part of your routine and your memories for decades, you know they are doing something right.

The shrimp was a bit on the chewy side, and while everything tasted fine, it didn't totally wow me. The octopus tostada had good flavor, though. The agua de hibiscus was actually one of the highlights -- perfectly balanced, not too sweet and not too plain. Super refreshing and definitely something I'd order again. The ambiance is lively and energetic, especially with the singers, but it does get pretty loud. It's open seating, so you walk in and find your own table until someone comes by with menus. Service was okay -- not super attentive, but friendly enough. On the plus side, the food came out quickly, which is always appreciated. Overall, I'd give it 4 stars. If it were a little less loud and the service a bit more attentive, it would easily be a stronger rating. Still a solid spot for a casual meal!

There were only a few other patrons, so grabbing a table wasn't difficult. Typical Mexican joint with brightly painted walls and Mexican decor. Food came in about 10 minutes. *** O U R P I C K S *** QUESABIRRIA ~ you get 3 tasty quesabirrias for $18.95. You also get consumé, a side of chopped onions, cilantro, and a few slices of lime. It was good, flavorful, lots of cheese, but kinda pricey. 4/5 WET BURRITO ~ Wet burrito with both red and green sauces for $15.75. Comparable to other taquerias in SSF. But most of those places are a drive away, so that's probably why their prices are higher. And they added lettuce as a filler. And when you don't eat it right away, the lettuce is mushy and wilted. 3.5/5 It's good to try new eateries now and then. This was decent, but I think we'll stick to our usual spots that are tried and true for us.

The inside, with the chicken, fish, shrimp and pork sausage had a smokey bean flavor combined with snap of green onions and bell peppers. I was surprised the heated stoneware didn't dry out the meats. It was perfect. Service was excellent for a pay at the cashier and they bring you the food type of restaurant. You have to ask at the cashier to re-fill your water. The self service salsa bar is a plus. They will give you actual silverware and plate if you ask. Minor nit.
