Stopped here on a Sunday afternoon during travels. Like most Mexican restaurants, it was quick service. ACP came with grilled vegetables that hubby said might have been the most flavorful he's ever eaten (this from a guy who doesn't like green peppers much). I had burrito supreme and it was very tasty. We happen to be in fulton.( rare visit ) went to RJ's eatery . But as usual in this area . Things are not open when you would expect. So my theory is similar to chinese . If the rice is good usually the food will be. In mexican if the chips and salsa are good food should be. Usually that works for me. Ok. We were seated. Waiter was very friendly. And humorous. Which I like. We started with chips and salsa which really was pretty good. We ordered the small cheese an chorizo appetizer. It was ok. Thicker and not watery like other places. Then came our lunches. My wife had 3 enchiladas green sauce on one white cheese on other and the red sauce on third. Cam with beans and rice. The lunch portion is plenty big. She took half home. And enjoyed the sauces especially. On to me. I'm usually a Caldo de pollo kids guy. BUT NO SOUPS AVAILABLE. that really is unexpected. You almost never run into a mexican place that dont have soup. I can understand not having posole. That's usually only on weekends. Buy no soup at all. Ok I ordered the deluxe burrito I think. Came with fries I didnt realize that. I prefer rice. But the fries were cooked perfectly. Crunchy. The burrito covered in white cheese. I shouldve opted out on that and asked for verde sauce. But I was in la la land. After filling up on chips and salsa an chips and queso n chorizo. And fries. I only tried 2 peices of my burrito. It was tasty. If we were in town again we would return. It was not horrible. It was not great. But is was decent. I dont wanna scare anyone away. Lord knows I have had so pretty bad mexican in my travels all over america. The prices were very fair. Had long trip and ended up at this HWY exit and only fast food chains to choose from or this place. Gave it a try...and it was great. I like Mexican places and go to many of them. This one had quick, courteous service and the "Carne Asada" dish I ordered was way better than I expected. Fresh salad and avocado...very nice. It was a simple place like the other review said and the prices were reasonable. Bathrooms were good and clean as well. Very authentic! This is not a microwaved meal. I'm half Hispanic and I have had my share of Mexican food...this is EXCELLENT! Friendly service, fresh ingredients and wonderful portions. (Even after I asked to remove veggies from my Fajita Chimichanga they STUFFED it with steak!) It's a must try in Fulton! read more

My family is from this town and been a frequent customer of Los Compadres since the restaurant opened. To say I was disappointed in the happening of the evening is an understatement! The "Owner" was unbelievably RUDE and verbally reprimanded someone in our party because she was cleaning up a spilled drink on the floor with napkins that were out on a near by table. A mess that he didn't offer to help clean up until several minutes later. We arrived at the location at 7:30, he tells us he is closing at 8 and we need to get our entire party in the building and ordering before 8 because it was his birthday and he wanted to leave. After the altercation we paid and were walking out when he had another outburst in front of the entire restaurant stating someone in our party did not pay, which was completely untrue! I literally watched every single person pay myself. We will NEVER step foot back into this establishment again! I will never recommend this place to anyone again! Seems to have gone out of business. Most of the area restaurants have returned to inside dining. There is grass growing in the parking lot.

The best Mexican food in Fulton!!! There rice is never over cooked like the other Mexican place in fulton and there prices are reasonable!!!

Los Compadres is located near Wal-Mart in a clean, brick building with lots of parking. Four of us has dinner this evening. Most ordered one of the "combinations" which are economically priced. The combinations include black beans or refried beans with rice plus the main dishes. My combination of a burrito and tostada came with lots of fresh lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream so was plenty of food for only $6.49. The main dishes were tasty. Service was prompt and attentive. It seems to be a popular restaurant, many folks arrived about the time we were leaving. We would return here again. read more

Great Music but the waitress messed up our order and brought out a fajita for 2 when we wanted to split a fajita. We didn't notice that the mistake until the ticket arrived and then pointed our the mistake. The management did nothing and said that we should have let them know when it was brought out even though we were just passing through from out of state. Have been going since they opened no more. Most of the buffet was near empty but the server offered to put out fresh food if I showed him the item I wanted. I made a plate of sides ... Lettuce, cheese, pico, etc & I waited & waited but they didn't put out the item he said they would & when I pointed it out the waiter was AN ASSHOLE. He kept arguing with me after saying "no the item was not replaced, but you ate didn't you?" No I did not eat the meat that never arrived. I had taken a tiny bit & it was cold & rubbery ... Maybe 3 bites, while I awaited the fresh. I told him the bite I took while awaiting the fresh food was old & he started saying "well I don't know how." Why did he offer fresh if he didn't know it was all old to begin with? "BUT YOU ATE DIDNT YOU ?" I mean KEPT SAYING IT. YES I HAD A SPOON of COLD FOOD !!! Yes I did !! While waiting on what he said would be refilled. The plate was full on our table because he food was not edible. I NEVER had a complaint about the place today & I am disappointed because it was by far our fav place to eat, but I will not deal with that server again ever!!! We ate here a few times a week but will NOT again ! We have also noticed the check not making sense several times but let it pass. My 2 buffet & 2 Dr Pepper was $15 something a few days ago, but was $17.70 today. The food was usually good enough & our usual server was so great we never worried about a strange $1 one way or the other, but the server arguing & insulting is something I just will not pay to deal with & YES I LEFT THE money he initially refunded. only Mexican in town, good food, quick service. sometimes the smoke from the smoking section can be a bit overwhelming. I love the chimichangas. The burrito and enchiladas are a favorite of the kids here. Fresh chips and salsa or get you some queso to go with them. read more

Great great service! So friendly and always coming to check on us. Food was your basic Mexican food. Tasted good and way better than all the fast food places around. They were awesome when they first opened in the old building. Since they moved to the new place and the original people left the quality has declined. The food is generally good but not consistently. My biggest issue is the place smells like the grease they are cooking with, and when you leave your clothes smell like it too. read more
