I really wanted to love this place. We found it through social media, and since it's right down the street from us, we were hoping it would become our Saturday breakfast tradition.
Unfortunately, after giving them three chances, we finally gave up.
The biggest issue is the customer service and order accuracy. They rarely answer the phone, and when they do, placing an order is confusing because they constantly interrupt, ask the same questions repeatedly, and put you on hold over and over Even simple orders take an unreasonable amount of time. One time I waited 45 minutes inside the restaurant for a simple pan con frijoles, huevo, crema y queso, even though there were 2 customers only. Another time, our takeout order was wrong, and my family couldn't even eat half of it because we received revueltas we do not eat meat again .essed up our order. On our third visit, after calling multiple times and waiting again at pickup, we got home only to find ingredients missing from our panes. We tried calling to give them the chance to correct this order they never picked up our calls.
As for the food, it's okay--I'd give it about a 6.5/10. The tamales barely had any meat, the bean pupusas had very little filling, and the cheese was unusually hard. The beans little flavor almost like can beans. I used can beans before but i fix them to have great flavor. As someone who has worked in restaurants for years and loves to cook, I know mistakes happen, which is why I gave this place three opportunities before writing this review.
I truly wanted to support this business, but every visit felt like a struggle just to get a simple order made correctly. I hope they improve their customer service, organization, and consistency because they have a lot of room for so much improvement. Prices are in the high side not worth it trust me!!!. This is just to show you social media can be just a hype. It was a waste of our time going back and forth with this place.
Super caro!!!! Que coraje pasamos no vale la Pena. read more
