This food is absolutely the best Salvadoran food I've had. I'm their pupusas are delicious and not greasy like other places. The caldo de pollo and res are also highly recommended. I highly recommended this restaurant.

My kids ate the pork tamales plus one chicken and they liked them so much they asked for seconds and thirds. My husband had Sopa de pata and he enjoyed it very much. Update: After going one more time several months later, we were disappointed with their service and food quality to the point of never going back to this place .

Ordered Casamiento,, and I got a plate of beans n the rice NO casamiento.

I have been looking for good Salvadoran food so I stopped here it was a disappointment. Service was okay, The taste of the food was good but what we ordered was not what they brought to us all wrong i ordered casamiento with my food they brought me a side of beans (Fritos) and then rice on my plate. I ordered some cheese pupusas but i was nicely informed that they had NO cheese ( what???) but they had bean n cheese pupusas,,, wth so confused ,, where have u heard a Salvadoran Food place running out of cheese ,, come on. To top it all off even my to go order was not what i wanted.. Would i give it a second chance maybe just because the food had good flavor but just not anytime soon,,,

The prices are reasonable but unfortunately not clean

Got at this place at 157pm had two or three customers at the place already service and done. I was say a table immediately. Server said she be back in a few to take my order. She came back 17 mins later apologized for not taking my order( no one at the restaurant at this point). Looks like she was taking her lunch break. She had food in her mouth and chewing why Apologizing. I place my order of a pupusa, yuca chancochada con chicharrón, horchata and water. I was served my food by 2:45pm. All looked delicious but as she placed the yuca I noticed a hair in the chicharrón and I pointed it to her and she pulled it out and it was a very long hair on the meat and yuca. I told her I didn't want the plate because she made it seem like I could go ahead and eat it now. I was no please take it. She took it and a proceed to eat the pupusa delicious but the way and so was the horchata. 3-5 mins later she comes out with another plate of yuca and chicharrón (which I'm assuming it must of been the same one just on another plate) I was like no I'm at the counter and I want to pay for my food. No apology was offered. Too bad this place was closed down previous looks like the same owners and same waitress as before. She confirmed it when I asked her. What a shame. Sorry, but because of all the delay and mishaps I give it a 1 review.

Ordered Pupusas revueltas, yummy so missed them glad there opened back. Will come back for more. Check my other pic of menu.

Finally a place in the Inland empire with pupusas with filling ( cheese , beans , chicharrón ) not all tortilla!! The pupusas are always stuffed and ozzing with cheese. Atole de Elote js amazing . Especially on a cold rainy day. I've been here a few times and I'm never disappointed. I'm the hardest critic when it comes to Central America food since I grew up eating it. The staff is always very attentive and nice . Prices are great. Food is delicious. Just wished the pan con gallina was shredded chicken and not a whole piece with bones . That's is the only thing. But besides that everything I've tried is amazing . Definitely worth going in !!

The pupusas are delicious. Highly recommend coming to this place.

However, I'm removing a star because the ordering and pricing information was not clearly explained. When I ordered, the cashier (who I believe may be the owner) did not clarify that there were different sizes or price options for certain items. Each time I ordered something, he automatically rang up what appeared to be the largest or most expensive option without explaining that there were alternatives. I only realized there were different sizes and prices after I had already paid and was leaving. When I tried to ask about the price differences, my question was ignored, which made the situation feel intentional and left me feeling uncomfortable about the experience. The food was genuinely great, but clearer communication about options and pricing would make the experience much better for customers.

No complaints there. BUT... there's something I saw that honestly threw me off. They bring curtido to the table in a jar (cool, no problem), but when we were done, I noticed they take whatever is left and dump it back into a big container in the back to reuse. That means it's basically being shared between multiple tables. I'm not trying to be dramatic, but that's just not sanitary. Once food hits a table, it shouldn't be going back into circulation. It kind of kills the vibe knowing you might be eating something that's been on someone else's table already. If they fixed that, this place would easily be a 4 or even 5 star spot. The food deserves it, but cleanliness matters too. Just being real.

Instead of trying to find out HOW meat got into my bean and cheese pupusa, she chose to be sarcastic and defensive about my experience without taking any accountability. She also said that their prices are "a little up there" and "are not meant for everyone" even though no one mentioned they had high prices. So she just went out of her way to...what? Call me poor? Weird. Please stop telling people that your cheese and beans are vegan; they are not. And it's not even always vegetarian either because I 100% got meat in mine and if you say you don't use ground meat in your pupusas, then I am even MORE concerned about what was in mine if it wasn't that. No wonder it upset my stomach all day! What the heck kind of meat was that?! You are clearly not a doctor so please don't try to tell me to go to the ER for an upset stomach. When vegetarians (and vegans) consume meat, we end up with a bad upset stomach - often for a full 24 hours or longer. It's like food poisoning to us. And I got it from your pupusas. She says: "We never said we are vegetarian connoisseurs." LOL lady, you're not even pupusa connoisseurs! I do agree with her on one thing though: Las Ploras pupusas "are not meant for everyone". I would keep that in mind the next time you're looking for good pupusas.

They have a surcharge for credit card so we paid cash but still came out to over $30 for one Pupusa Loca and an horchata. The cashier explained the Pupusa Loca was a lot more bc it included all the meats, including shrimp. Of course, NO SHRIMP inside. Nada. Not even an errant shrimp tail to be found. Just a glorified quesadilla tbh. More cheese than anything else inside. Though the shell was crisp and delicious, it wasn't worth $20-25 for fried masa. More insulting was they went out of their way to ask if we'd like our horchata now or when the pupusa was ready. I opted for now. No other customers around but us and our baby waiting without shade in the summer heat. My bro politely waited for them before asking if we could get our drink now. Then they hand us two horchatas by mistake and snatch the extra away instead of just giving it to us for waiting with our baby who is yelling, "Cha cha, cha chaaa!!" Cold blooded. The horchata was one of the worst I've ever had. Just sugar water. No cinnamon, no rice, no love. Pretty much sums up what they are about.
