First time here so I tried the carnitas soft taco and the tamale (chicken) - both a la carte. Carnitas are my measuring stick for any Mexican place. They were good - I instantly tasted the salted meat and wondered of it was too salty but realized it was just a stark contrast to most carnitas out there. I would go back and order a carnitas plate, something I can't say for most places. The tamale was average but good. Nothing to get too excited about. I could taste the corn, the chicken didn't make a big statement and the red sauce was what you'd expect. The jack cheese made a tasty topping. I think if I try the tamale again I'll get it without the red sauce and add the tomatillo from the salsa bar. I'd probably try something else instead. I'll probably be back to get the carnitas plate and try a carne asada taco. The four stars is for making a carnitas I'd try again. read more

We usually order at least once week. Food is always fresh and never a bad meal here in 10 years! The hard shell beef tacos are to die for. The machaca burrito is seasoned well. The chips are always fresh and never oily. The combo plates are a can't miss choice. read more

This is my favorite place to go when I'm in Los Angeles. We were on our way to the Bay Area and had to take a quick detour to go here. I have been eating here for over 20 years and have never been disappointed. They used to be located down the street. I love their wet burrito with carnitas, cheese, cilantro, and onion. It has two different sauces on it. A red and green sauce. The green is my favorite of the two. Let's not forget about the beans & rice! It all taste so good! I paid around $10.00 for my meal. It also came with chips & salsa. My only complaint is that they close at 9:00 pm. I wish they were open later on the weekends. Great food with friendly service. You've got to try this place! Carne asada burrito GROSS. I asked for it dry, got it wet. Asked for no onions and tomatoes, got onions and tomatoes. Then there were corn and carrots in there for some reason lol. This place is great. Since moving from Stockton, I have had a really hard time finding a decent, well-priced burrito place nearby. This place almost does the trick. I like my Mexican food very plain, so I always get the bean and cheese burrito. The beans they use are delicious as well as the cheese. My boyfriend likes a lot of flavor in his food, and he loves this place as well. The portions are very nice, and I've never had a problem with the service. Moved out to Tujunga from Los Angeles about 6 months ago and was missing having access to a good burrito. Lo and behold, we spot this place. 5-6 bucks for a HUGE burrito, 6-11 bucks for a HUGE Plate of food. Everything was delicious and hot and fresh. The seasoning was great and they use REAL refried beans instead of crappy canned ones. I recommend the carne asada burrito, the chile verde burrito, and either the grilled chicken or carne asada plate. You won't be disappointed. read more

My absolute favorite lunch spot for a super quick and wicked good burrito. Fave is the basic bean & cheese, wet -- go for 1/2 green and 1/2 red sauce for a tasty contrast between the zesty tomatillo side and the rich rojo side. I ALWAYS get some guacamole to go with the complimentary fresh chips since the burrito is literally exploding with filling and make my own nachos. Do not miss the salsa bar, especially the amazing carrots escabeche (spicy pickled carrots); they are to die for. We have been coming here for years. They have a huge selection of dishes and everything I've tried is very good. I think their refried beans are the best I've ever tasted. Prices are reasonable and the staff is always friendly. It's always bright and clean which I like in a restaurant. A new restaurant has opened up next door which I'm afraid has taken away a lot of Los Burritos business because it seems much less busy than it used to be. I hope people will continue to dine here so it can stay in business and succeed. I would hate to see such a great little restaurant close after all these years. read more

I usually get a carne asada burrito with no beans. This place is nothing special I usually just come here out of sheer convenience and never had an issue. But I guess someone different took the order from me over the phone and decided that because I didn't want any beans, they should charge me for extra meat so the burrito doesn't look so small...really? She didn't even bother to mention that until after I got there and she was ringing me up. And she never even asked if it's ok. So considering their food is subpar, I didn't put up a fight..I just left knowing I won't be returning. read more

My wife and I have been coming to this place for years. I love Mexican food, and this is my favorite Mexican restaurant. I always order a hard beef taco, chicken enchilada with rice and beans. The salsa is fresh and outstanding. The beans are the best! They take your order at the counter and bring the food to your table. The food is reasonably priced, a little higher than Del Taco, but less than a sit-down restaurant. I wish the atmosphere was nicer, but the cashiers are always pleasant.
