The fam and I come here to get our mexican -crave at least once a month. It's the closest place and the food is very consistent. The #5(chicken tamale and cheese enchilada) and #25 with beans and salad(must ask for salad or else it comes with rice) are the usuals. Their salad is fresh with a big dollop of guacamole. yummmy. If the workers know you well enough, they even give u a free side of chips while waiting for ur food. The joint is clean and the service is pretty fast. Their carne asada soft tacos are the greatest. Not all Los Burritos restaurants taste the same. Especially their salsa bars. This is by far the best Los Burritos I've been to in terms of taste and the most generous with their portions. I've been coming to this location for almost a decade and have never had a bad experience. I have a few things I enjoy more than coming to this restaurant and enjoying a plate of their #19. As a matter of fact, if I had to choose a last meal, this would be one of the first on that list. No joke, but a very long time ago, this joint was located next to a restaurant called Poo Ping Palace...but on to more relevant information: To say that they serve large portions is putting it lightly. All combination platters are served with refried beans smothered with cheese and rice! When you need your stomach-bursting, slightly shame-producing fix of Mexican food, Los Burritos is an excellent joint that serves up delicious, giant portions of food. Staff are always friendly and they have homemade salsas! Their enchiladas are quite delicious as well as their hard taco. However, I have lately found my go-to dish, the charbroiled chicken plate with corn tortillas and it is quite delicious. Also, they have great chips. I have been to a number of Mexican restaurants, and most places disappoint on their chips. I often find myself going there just because I have a craving for their chips. I'm not sure what happened over the years, but their food has become extremely salty. Are they trying to cover up for something? Also, I've visited them for a pickup order(during COVID19 era), I saw 2 employees in the kitchen with no mask, or gloves. It baffles me because that is the least amount you can do to retain your business during this time. Am I being too critical? Perhaps... Never had a bad experience here. I always come in and get the carne asada burrito and it's always fresh and delicious. The quality of the meat is pretty good and overall the burrito is always great and the prices are very fair. This is by far the worst breakfast burrito i had. Stuffed it with a ton of beans, bacon was terrible and egg was so so. I honestly couldnt eat it and just ate there chips. I have enjoyed this little "hole in the wall" for the 8 years I have lived up here on the HILL. Sometimes we eat "in" but most of the time take it home. Their Junior Plate can be made with any three items you like. My fav is a Cheese Enchilada, beans and a salad (that include Guacamole). The chips are added in for free. Currently priced at $6.75 it's a steal. Excellent quality. Why drive to a chain restaurant, pay more and get less? That's just crazy. This is a nice little restaurant. Clean and tidy, and the service was prompt. The food was out very quickly and was quite delicious. Paid $10 for a quesadilla and a bottled water , the quesadilla said price was $6 which was already pricey and I asked her why so much and she said because they charge more for the meat ... This little hidden mexican restaurant is beyond good. It's absolutely delicious. The cashier is really friendly and seems to know the menu very well. She is very attentive. She provided chips for me(dine in only) they are crispy and warm with the perfect amount of salt. The cooks did an amazing job with my wet burrito. I personally would of loved to tell them personally. The atmosphere is quiet but they have these really famous painting of Diego Rivera, and I just happen to be a big fan of his paintings. read more
