Shrimp Burrito
Adina S.

I stayed at the Moxy for 5 nights and used my food and drink vouchers here for the duration of my stay. The food usually took about 10 minutes to be prepared and I often ate it by the pool or beach. Their chips and guac was really good - the guac came in a big tub. I also had both the shrimp and steak burritos, both of which were okay, but nothing special. The actual star of the show was their popsicles, both the cookies 'n cream and coconut were delicious. It's a convenient option if you're staying at the hotel, but there are certainly better spots for Mexican in the area.

Esquites

I was excited to try Los Buenos as I am a big fan of Coyo Taco. This was their second day of being open. I ordered esquites, and a potato poblano pepper burrito. I ordered a side of salsa verde, and a chipotle sauce. The staff was pretty nice and helpful. They had theirs masks half on, and off unfortunately. The esquites were unfortunately not very good. They were cold, and tasteless. The burrito was okay. It was very large, so a good generous portion but the flavor was not fully there either. Also, the sitting area was felt a bit strange with the ceiling open. It felt like a safety hazard. Hopefully the quality of the food improves.

Rude staff. The tacos were pretty decent until I got a couple of small bones stuck in my throat.

The food and service are exceptional, but the five stars are for the hand model. Their hands really complete the photo ;)

I have heard so much around this place and I can confidently say it lives up to the hype!…read more Finding parking nearby is a bit tricky as it is only street parking and there's only outside dining available. The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!

Ever since I tried their steak Caesar salad I've been obsessed. That was my usual from there for 5 years. 2 nights ago we ordered from uptown and when we got our order I was so angry I didn't want to even eat my food. 1. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"

My dinner plans changed last minute due to the weather, which was heavily raining and decided on Lolita despite not having reservations. Upon arrival we were instructed to go upstairs where the very young and inexperienced host could not figure out the system and said sorry there was no availability to accommodate us. We left disappointed and while going downstairs I decided to pull uo their booking site to confirm availability. The system reflected several available time slots for dinner. Kudos to the downstairs host that accommodated us immediately once I showed her the system reflected availability. The servers were truly incredible downstairs and I appreciate the very attentive and charming service provided throughout the evening! I ordered a beet salad which was almost perfect but was lacking feta or goat cheese which I highly recommend they consider having in the kitchen. The oxtails tacos were delicious and very filing. I also enjoyed the brown dessert. Thank you for a yummy evening with fantastic service!

I had sopes, which are always a treat. They were happy to make them for me with just beans too, so good spot for non-meat options. Really enjoyed my meal and would absolutely come back!
