Not only did they tell me they had balanced my wheels but they also told me all new tires had no warranty. Any where else you are at least offered to purchase warranty. Ever since then I have noticed that my car steering wheel shakes when I drive a few miles over 50. I took it somewhere else and they rebalanced and rotated my tires. Now my drive has been a lot smoother. I am so frustrated with business! The fact that they try to take advantage of people who are putting trust in them with their safety is not acceptable. After a routine tire rotation I found my center cap screws like this .. they lost one and instead of owning up to it . They replaced it with a hex head bolt .. I checked the lug nuts they weren't torqued and all of them on my right front were loose ... I have gone to this place a few times before and at first the visits weren't that bad I got fair service and decent pricing though why I rate this place a 1 star is because I called prior to going and asked about a tire patch, I got quoted $20 and decided it was fair and went. I got there at approximately 1:40 and it didn't seem like anyone was there so I figured it'd be quick so I wait, up until 3:10 I get up from the waiting room because I decided to ask about an update and realize my car is in the front parked yet I wasn't notified which was fine since it was done yet when I go to pay the guy tries to tell me it was $30 and how they haven't charged $20 in a while but ends up charging me $20 which was fine then when I get my car, drive home and go to work I realize my tire seems to look like it's shredding I was literally able to pull off a piece of my tire as if it was cheese and I have a video of it. Definitely wouldn't go back especially for waiting an hour and 30 just for my tires to look worse. read more

i have a modified stanced car, and they looked at it as if they were scared of it. they charged me 360$ for 2 new tires, 235/35/19, & took 3 hours to put on. they put on the wrong rims on the wrong sides which led to scratching of my 3 piece rim. 3 hours just for him to debead not to long after. I had to repay 300$ for another tire somewhere else in the middle of nowhere due to their unprofessionalism & a damaged rim. read more

This is the 3rd vehicle I bring in for an alignment over the last 3 years. I've brought a 18 mustang gt after new wheels, 23 Camry after installing air ride, and just now my 84 Chrysler fifth Ave I purchased in August. Alignment made a HUGE difference on this one. Tires were new from 2021 and they only had a handful of miles on them. Steering was leaning to the right hard. Left and the wheel was perfectly straight. Doesn't veer anymore. I believe previously I was paying $75. This time it was $100. I didn't say anything, when I got on the road I forgot about what the cost even was I was so happy with it. Stood in a short line. 1 rep was helping a customer, the other rep(older gentleman wearing glasses)wasn't helping nobody and was on the computer and never acknowledges us and he looked at us. A "welcome in, someone will be right you" is something that changes the game and people like him should be taught to say that. He has poor customer service. The other gentleman on the other hand(younger gentleman) we get to him and he was very nice and answered all of our questions. We pointed out the wheel we wanted, he took out to our vehicle so that we can see how it would look and gave quote and we had them do the installation. The time he gave us for it be completed unfortunately was way off! But the second time he gave us when we asked for update he was on point. We love the look of installation and will recommend this place, definitely for price point. I believe imo it wasn't too expensive but at the same time don't expect for a set of big wheels and tires to be under a $1000. 2 bathrooms and tv while you wait and snacks and coffee. I came here a couple months back to get a USED tire for my F150. AND Los Amigos came in for the clutch because this tire is a rare size. And the price was good. Out the door $80, 5 stars great job FAST FORWARD, yesterday. I called Los Amigos and said "hey I grabbed a tire from you guys awhile back, and I need another one, I can't make it today because it's already 3 pm and I live in San Francisco.Guy says "no problem, come whenever, come tomorrow, we go a tire here for you for $78." I said " I'll be there tomorrow and if you got two tires I'll take two." FAST FORWARD again TODAY. I get to Los Amigos in Ceres today around 1pm, it's not super busy but it's taking some time to be seen. I tell the owner "Pancho" about the tire and that I spoke with someone yesterday. He replies "I remember you" ahhh lol ok. I tell him the size and the price and he tells me " oh that guy you talk to yesterday thought you said 20" I have to see if I have 22".." (y'all peep the BS ) He pulls to low thread tires out and says $220 and explains the labor for putting a tire on and computers blah blah blah.. he understood that I drove all this way, I was gonna pay no matter what. Large selection of tires and rims with decent prices. Lots to look at while you're waiting. Their family is very big on soccer and they have posters up with all the family players, they even have a soccer field onsite at the shop! In addition they have lots of pictures and things up on the wall; I especially enjoyed a t-Shirt that said "I don't need google, my wife knows everything"! Lol The wait time was short and everyone I spoke with was pleasant. Above all, I enjoyed talking to Luis. He was, indeed, a very, very nice man. He was helpful and very personable. Six months ago I was in to have my wheels aligned. They told me I needed new brakes and rotors. I bought them. Took longer than they said it would take. The brakes never stopped making noise. I finally get back in (they were closed for the holidays). My appointment was at 9:30. An hour and a half later they tell me I need the OTHER brakes and rotors replaced. They said they could do it in about an hour, hour and a half. Two hours later, they call me to pay. No key. I walk out to see my car still up in the rack with no tires on it. More than four hours in I'm still waiting for my car. I'll be late to my next job due to the very poor service here. read more

I've done business here a few times a year for the last five years. Never had an issue until now. I needed 4 tires dismounted and 4 mounted back on and balanced. Price was a little steep but I didn't care. The tires I had dismounted still had good tread I just wanted my mud tires put on. After picking up my truck I drove it home and it didn't feel right. I got home and 2 out of the 4 wheels had no balance weights on them. I was missing 2 of 4 billet valve stem caps and 1 of my still good tires had a chunk ripped out of it when they were dismounting them, of course nobody said anything. Been coming to Los Amigos since my son was a baby...he's now 10 yrs old. Excellent experience every time. The shop is busy (a good sign in my book) but very attentive to your needs. Family-friendly: they have several seating areas inside the shop, including one with a TV and DISH connection to occupy the little ones with cartoons while you wait. Coffee is also offered in this area. The pricing is very competitive and frankly, as a woman who doesn't know much about automotive stuff, I like that I don't feel a hard sell to upgrade to products I don't need or that don't fit into my budget. They have a vast selection of tires, rims and other automotive services. The owner, Mr. Chavez, is often working at the front counter and is very friendly and professional. The whole shop is professional and courteous, from the techs to the front shop staff. I often work with Luis and he's known me and my son since my son was a baby! I buy a lot of tires per year at a lot of different tire shops so I know all the games they might play regarding price, length of time for the job, ply ratings, and date codes regarding the age of the "new tire" Much like mechanic shops there are a lot of tire shops that like to play games with the customer to maximize profits if they can. It's called corporate greed and you should try to avoid it if you can. I was told 3 different times I could get 4 tires mounted "right away". Asked on the phone and was told "we can get it done right now". Asked again in person and they said "we do it NOW!", was told again in person "we'll get it done right away. Not a fan of being lied to but the only thing they did right away was take off my old tires. Don't let anyone lead you to believe any tire shop can't dismount 4 tires and remount new ones onto a trailer in less than 10 minutes they don't even get balanced it's a piece of cake. It took a full hour to get the job done and then the tech out back accused me of not paying the bill as I was about to drive off. This is seriously a job that takes 10 minutes. Not kidding. Have had this same job done countless times before. As far as price goes it was 344 out the door for four 6 ply 205/75/15's tires. Nothing special and only C rated tires. ANY other tire shop on crows landing were selling these for 45 to 55 each OUT THE DOOR. These cost me 86 dollars each and didn't even get balanced. And the kicker was the tires they gave me were date coded 2015. If you want to know how old your "new tires" are look at the 4 digit code on the sidewall. 2315 would mean these tires were manufactured in the 23rd week of 2015. Unacceptable to sell "new tires" that have a date code on them over 3 years old. Any response to this review is more smoke and mirrors I know more about this business then these clowns do and at every opportunity they missed a chance to get a great cash paying customer. Dropped off car at 830am for a brake job and was told it would only be 3 hours. Then after 3 hours was told 2 more hours. Then after that it was 2 more hours. Then told it would be ready at 5pm then was told it "will only be a few minutes" (from owner) still waiting after closing of shop. cant leave till car is done. Great way to spend entire day off waiting in lobby and being lied to all day. Never coming back here again!!!!! read more

This review is about a year over due. This place is by far the absolute best tire shop around. I came in to get new tires...they informed me I needed new tie rods also. I thought I was screwed becuase I didnt have enough cash. They had several fincance companies they go through that got me quickly apporoved to get a new set of tires, tie rods and an alignment. The deal they gave me on the tires alone was well worth me taking my business here. While I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced a disgruntled customer approached the counter and became very irate with owner and his wife (if I am correct). The owners very calmly and respectfully addressed the gentleman's issues, all while he was displaying aggressive behavior and getting loud. The owners never once got out of character, asked him to leave or called the police. Infact, they remained very respectful and helpful. Turns out it was just a big misunderstanding. They cleared up the problem for the customer. After this situation the customer was very apologetic. Im sure he felt dumb after the whole ordeal. This place does great-honest business! I will def be back and reccomend this place to anybody and everybody. read more

He nicely asked me if i needed help findimg something, my response was yes, here is what im looking for. I than showed him a picture of the rims i was looking for and stressed to him how i ONLY wanted those rims and nothing different. He jumped on the computer and with in a few minutes of searching, he turns the computer my way displaying THE EXACT rims i was looking for. I went from "im just looking" to actually buying the rims with in 15 minutes, and on top of that, the price he gave me was amazing. Luis and his crew made me feel like if i was a regular client there, note that i live in Riverbank Ca, it is about a 30-40 min drive from Riverbank to his shop in modesto, not to mention the endless amount of tire/rim shops there is on the way there. My husband has purchased tires for his truck here in the past, and after calling several places for our Pilot, realized this is still the best deal. I'm an early morning sort of errand runner, so I was in and out of there within an hour or so. The lounge is clean and comfy, more than I can say for some other national chain tire companies. The clientele is mostly, well um Spanish speaking, but whatevs I can speak the Spanglish too when necessary. Great competitive pricing, and awesome customer service made this smooth and easy. Worst customer service ever !!! I went for an alignment and the guy told me the wait would be 1hr-1:30hrs, yet i ended up waiting for almost three hours. As I waited, I asked one of the reps the status of my van and he told me he was going to check and he never got to me. Its 5:45 Pm and they closed at 6:30. I needed a patch for my tire as I had a screw in it and had low tire pressure. The gentleman who saw me was very compassionate and agreed to help me despite being so close to closing time. I was relieved that he patched up my tire and didnt mind it being close to closing! This is my 3rd time here for tires and alignment. The place has lots of parking. It's very clean and 2 big flat screen TV are ready to watch. They always seem to get me in right a way and the owner is always cool and nice to everyone. Tire prices are a little higher than most shops. But there worth the fast great service. Worse service I have ever had I been trying to install coils on my car for couple days. I called Friday to see their availability the guy that answer told me to bring In on Monday in the morning never told me it was a first come first serve process. I got their at 9:48 was told that they where to busy to help the manteca store called the modesto store to see if they could help me out was told yes to bring it over and when I got here I was turn down that they where now to busy and could not help me.
