That cheese pull! She split the nachos for us!

What did we just run into??? This place is absolutely incredible. We live in LA and thought we had the best Mexican food. I can tell you whole heartedly that these were the absolute best nachos I've had in my life. Fresh runny beans, homemade hot fried chips, fresh melted cheese, carne asada, pico de gallo, green salsa, crema, pickled onions, avocado and oregano. The service was so nice and such a nice family vibe. We happened to come in when she was making FRESH PISTACHIO MILK/ water. Next door is a pistachio plant and luckily she has found a way to make those little nuts even better! This drink is insane. We will be coming here everytime we pass, up to springville, porterville or the sequoias. She even gifted us a bag of fresh pistachios because we were soooo hyped about her place! They definitely love what they do and show their love through food!

Great service. I was able to ask for samples with no issues. Got the tacos dorados here and they were delicious and very crispy. Delicious tamales jalapeño green sauce/cheese wrapped in banana. They also have the chicken red sauce tamale here too. They have mole, pozole and so many other authentic Mexican cuisine I have yet to try. They use traditional Tijuana cooking methods here.

My family and I are such regulars here we enjoy coming in for Sunday morning buffet, it's our favorite. They've recently became a female owned business and their attention to detail hasn't changed. You can never go wrong with their birria and fish/shrimp tacos.

Chips and salsa, salsa delicious but chips are NOT homemade.

Looked for a place cuz we were getting hangry, coming from the Sequoias. Found this little place yelpers gave 4.5 stars. Stopped in and thank GOD it wasn't in a gas station stall, already a plus. Small place with clean restrooms if thats a deal breaker. They have specials not on the menu, but the nice waitress ran it over. I ordered the famous, handmade quesabirria, it was good, but I am a picky spice eater and it did have a different spin to it, which was sweeter, so not my favorite. My guy ordered the chileverde which I took a few bites and loved it as well as the homemade corn tortillas, NOT a fan of the rice and beans tho. He also ordered a single queso enchilada which he said was good. The waitress did bring over chips and salsa before the meal, and I am a sucker for good chips, the salsa was tasty, but the chips were from a bag and warmed, NOT good. The place was small but cool in the 98 degree town. Surprisingly no flies in the joint, another plus. Service was great, food was good. Ambience was clean and comfortable. I will try something else next time in Terra Bella..

One thing I do love is a good and tasty burrito and this place offers my favorite burritos. I go to other places and always get some type of burrito and they never seem to get it quite to my taste... this place does. The service is on par with the food as well, they always get stuff done and will make it feel homey. Overall, this place has the best burritos in my experience.

Nice Cold Ice Tea (with option to add Splenda or sugar separately)

I'm a regular here, haven't had a place compare too this hidden jewel. Restaurant is always organized! Today chili verde (pork with green chili) plate with eggs sunny side up, side of handmade flour tortillas and jalapeño. The stem of the jalapeño was the only item left on the plate . Service just like mom does with love!

Excellente! Very friendly staff, great food, and accommodating of our dog. We were passing through and saw the sign from the road, with other decision to stop confirmed by the good Yelp ratings. Burrito and shrimp tacos were large and delicious, as were our granddaughters' bean and cheese burritos from the kid's menu. The kids also got some fried potatoes that were beautifully crispy, tasting somewhat like Tater Tots. We will definitely stop again if we're in the area.

Their handmade tortillas were some of the best we ever had.

Los Amigos hosted our family reunion dinner for 40 in Springville, and they rocked it! Everyone loved the food and went back for seconds, thirds, and fourths! There was plenty of everything, it was all wonderfully seasoned, and they provided warmers to keep it all hot during the dinner. Their tortillas were the best I have had. We are thankful in countless ways for the amazing dinner Los Amigos provided for our event!

    Super big quesabirria

This is real Mexican food! I got the big Quesabirria. It was huge! And very tasty and hot (temperature) just like like my food. Las costillas de puerco en mole negro were amazing & the carnitas burrito was loaded with rice beans lettuce tomato avocado & carnitas. We also tried a fish taco & it was huge and delicious. 10/10 recommend

Fantastic food and experience!…read more Tried on a whim after a day at Sequoia, not expecting too much after seeing the Yelp stars, but all expectations were blown out of the water. Staff were immediately welcoming, personable to talk with, patient, and helpful not just to us but all other guests around! We sat at one of the many outdoor patio tables, which made for exactly the relaxing mood we needed. The complimentary fresh chips and salsa were finished before the waiter returned to take our order. Both are clearly made fresh, with the chips being very visibly cut, fried, and seasoned and the salsa being refreshing and slightly spicy. The wet burrito supreme was filled with tender, juicy beef shreds and topped with a red sauce packed with flavor. The chicken and mole was a delightful surprise to see on the menu, and it blew our minds! The thigh, leg, and breast chunk were wonderfully tender but still firm enough to not just become part of the sauce, which was packed with flavor, smokiness, and richness. The beef flautas were admittedly a little hard and the weakest plate on the table, but it was compensated by the rice and beans being nicely seasoned and cooked to the perfect texture/consistency.

Casa Mendoza is one of the few restaurant options outside of Sequoia National Park and overall, I'd…read moresay the service was friendly, but the food runs pretty pricey. Serving sizes on the burritos looked pretty hefty and they do have complimentary chips and salsa. Can get a little crowded on busy weekends, but they do have outdoor seating available as well. They have a shared parking lot with the small grocery store and pizza place next door. Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (2.75/5): The sides of rice and especially beans were actually quite good, but the shrimp themselves were blasted and just overcooked. Rubbery shrimp just isn't the vibe and it's a pretty expensive plate for how much protein you get. Fish Taco (3/5): Objectively, they aren't bad. The fish is flaky and not overcooked, but I was expecting fried fish tacos, not just slabs of tilapia on some corn tortillas. Caldo de Res (4.5/5): Unlike the other items, this soup was INCREDIBLE. Light and perfectly savory. The carrots are soft and the beef ribs are almost melt in your mouth fatty and tender. Would recommend this dish 10x over.
