She just held a trash bag for me to put my donation stuff and another bag to put stuff I wanted to throw away. She helped take everything downstairs, but left all the trash down there and didn't help me haul it to the trash cans outside. She was real happy to take my stuff to be "donated" and even took my old iPhone to try to sell it. I thought she meant she was going to help me sell it, but apparently she just wanted to sell it and keep the money for herself. She also tried to cut the session short. When I contacted her a few days later she told me that we could discuss options for storage that would be most efficient with my space. She told me it would cost $150/hr for that. I already paid $500 for her to basically hold trash bags for me to fill. I definitely feel like I did not get what I paid for. I was really disappointed. I would recommend finding someone on task rabbit, who is more affordable. I wish I had.

I had 30+ boxes coming, and going from a 3 bedroom to a small rental was so overwhelming. Laura replied almost IMMEDIATELY, like same day. So awesome! We scheduled time for Tuesday after the movers delivered. We spent 6 hours on Tuesday on my office and my bedroom, and we got though all of it. We still weren't finished with the bathroom and remainder of my boxes, so Laura promptly decided she could come help me the next day. We did another 6 hours (time as a gauge if you have a certain amount of stuff) we got through my bathroom, linens and the rest of my boxes. Everything is clean, organized, labeled and has its place. Laura taught me how to fold things, where to put things, etc. I really didn't have to buy anything, I had some containers, but I might grab more hangers and a file cabinet as she suggested. Oh she did show me these awesome drawer organizers and shoe organizers. Laura is prompt and SUPER hard working. She seriously gets down to business! She's also just a sweet person, and I felt more than comfortable having her go through my stuff. And she never judged me for all my bathroom stuff. It pains me to revise my stellar review because I think their designers are very talented. But they…read moremust get things in order on the business side or they will continue to lose clients. While they work on hourly consult rates which is a refreshing option for many of us, on a recent project, my business was clearly not valued. Calls and emails were not returned for days or weeks, plans not sent as promised, all eventually resolved through my repeated follow-ups. The justified reason is that a bigger client was requiring all their time. Customer Service 101. I pay my invoices on time and without question. I will set aside the sales tax issue which required multiple emails to be resolved. The last straw was the requirement to pay for a 4th consult by a sharp deadline or my consult would be canceled. What choice did I have? I will find an interior design firm that will appreciate my business.
