    Charged Nearly $2,000 Over Quote -- Breach of Contract, Legal Action Pending…read more We were quoted $4,459 for our project, which we accepted despite our budget being lower. We even cleared the entire space beforehand to help expedite their process and reduce costs. However, we were shocked to be charged over $6,400--nearly $2,000 more than agreed. We understand it's not always going to 100% reflect the quote, but there was no prior notice or written approval of extra charges. When we questioned the overage, they claimed they gave us "their most generous discount to date," which was misleading and unacceptable. We disputed the charge with American Express, but were told the final bill they gave us after the work counted as "written notice," despite no prior communication about the increase. This is unfair and contradicts their own contract terms. After consulting with an attorney, we were advised the company is in breach of contract. If they do not refund the overage and honor the original quote, we are fully prepared to take legal action. This review is a final effort to resolve the matter before going to court. Future clients, proceed with caution--get everything in writing.

You know you should hire help, but you're just so crazy busy that you never find the time. Add to that, I work out of my home, so my house is a mess. I was feeling so overwhelmed that I just knew I needed help. I'm so glad I took the leap of faith and hired Breanna. The first project I had her do was clean up my office space. My desk had long ago become unworkable, buried in all kinds of stuff I couldn't even see the surface anymore. It had become an eye sore and a stressor every time I walked by. Within a day, she had it cleared and organized everything. I was blown away, especially since she maybe came and asked me questions twice. It was an instant stress reliever. Plus, she's just a joy to be around. She now helps me about 4-10 hours per week as needed, and I love that I can just give her a project, and she runs with it. I don't have to hold her hand and man is she fast! Best decision ever. Highly recommend if you're a small business owner, who is growing fast and doesn't have time to sweat the small stuff.

As I was going for #4, I realized cleaning wasn't the answer and I would need to turn to an organizer. I read reviews and looked at websites and decided on Laila. On a Monday morning I emailed and got an response in a short time. We made a plan to meet that night for Laila to assess the "mess" and give me some ideas on next steps. Laila came in, asked questions about how the space would be used and provided options on what I could do. I admit the ideas were outside of what I had ever thought of, but as Laila explained WHY she was making the suggestions I saw the vision and decided what I had done 3 times previously hadn't worked so I put my trust in the expert. We set a time for Laila to come back to help me with the actual organizing and over the next week I prepared by getting the needed items so my space could be organized. Laila came in to a mess and together in 4 hours we made MAGIC happen. Always before I had 1 or more people help and the project took days! Laila is a dynamo and had a plan which got us through the process so quickly I couldn't believe it. I now have a place for every item and category of items (Hardware, crafts, entertainment, etc.). My garage is now a multi functioning space (laundry, storage, entertainment). All I can say is thank you, thank you, thank you!! It's weird having more storage than I need and everything having a place. It's been over a month and my space is still on track with a bright looking future.

I sent her an email asking for help, but not expecting any response in such short notice. Not only did she call me back, but she was available and over at my house by 11:00 am. She was professional, agreeable, efficient, patient, completely independent, and really great at organizing! I felt like her prices were very reasonable. Another thing I liked about Laila was her straightforward communication style. In cases when I unknowingly asked for something unrealistic, she educated me about what to realistically expect from her services and offered good compromises. She has a very high standard for her work. I found her to be very trustworthy, discreet and polite. I welcomed having her in my house. She was also really good at interacting with our dogs. Her demeanor was calming to them. They quickly acclimated to having a stranger in the house, which is unusual. The only reason I haven't given 5 stars is because Yelp lists a five star rating as "as good as it gets" and I really have no other organizing experiences to compare with so I can't say this experience was "as good as it gets." I CAN say that I liked Laila and her service very much. I highly recommend her and I will ask her back.

    Yayy first review!…read more Sorry for the lengthy review; if you are short on time let it suffice to say that this company is streamlined to provide good, flexible jobs to needy students, and do the work to make sure that good, quality help is provided to needing employers. They do their job well! A while back i was finishing my college classes. I had some extra time and a very desperate need for some extra money to pay for gas, groceries, etc. I started doing my usual job search and came across a job posting on my school's career website (though i later found out these postings are also on craigslist and their website and other school sites too). It was super clear and organized, and after sending them my resume they got back to me within a couple days. Throughout my interaction with GPA their communication with me was always prompt, kind, and professional (big plus when being stressed about getting hired!). Anyways, i ended up having an interview with them which turned out to be super fun. It was a mix of your regular in-depth-questions, scenarios, and ended with a little "interactive" task. (For me i had to write a business letter on behalf of my hypothetical future employer). I ended up being hired at a fantastic small business nearby that deals with fitness and nutrition and I loved the experience. I learned a ton and was placed in a very understanding, flexible, and communicative work environment. I've worked for a lot of people in my life and i must say this whole experience was possibly the smoothest hiring/training/working experience i've ever had. These people are great at understanding your needs, understanding the employer's needs, and making sure that you are put into a work environment that works with your schedule and pays you accordingly.
