Just had dinner here with my family and have to say this is a 5-star restaurant all the way! The food is AMAZING - the serving sizes are filling, very reasonably priced, and delicious. The service is on point too - so friendly, warm, and attentive. The waitress came around all the time to make sure we had what we needed. We had pupusas, yuca frita, sopa de jaiba, and ensalada de pollo. Everything was delicious and so authentic. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back! read more

This spot is offering take out during COVID. I've been here twice, and I'll for sure come back again. I ordered revuelta, Loroco, and queso and frijol pupusas. I also got agua frescas of jamaica and tamarindo. The pupusas are delicious; they taste home made. They're a good size, two of them filled me up. And they're still good reheated. The curtido and the salsa are well done too! The agua frescas are really good. My favorite is the tamarindo. It's for sure handmade. I definitely recommend this place for popusas. read more

Update: Our start was rough, however, after speaking with the owner's husband, he did provide us with excellent customer service and I was amazed at how delicious the food was. I highly recommend the loroco bistro and honestly we had left over for days. My daughter had the chimichurri and was delighted with exceptional flavors that burst and satisfied her hunger. The shrimp pupsa were the crowd favorites. As for me , I enjoyed the shrimp, fried cheese, and the chili pupsa. The gentleman really turned my experience into something worth returning for. Ok, So I know I'm going against the grain here compared to all the other reviews but I want to be super honest in all my reviews and provide a constructive review for this restaurant. First, I'm of Guatemalan descent. So I know a good pupusa when I taste one. I ordered a variety of pupusas because I wanted to try multiple options. I ordered : Frijol, Queso & Loroco , Frijol con Queso & Revueltas. The size of these pupusas is larger than the average pupusa out there. One could've easily been enough for me. So in terms of size, this is a plus! However, I must mention that ALL 11 of the pupusas were extremely greasy. We had to pat the grease off with paper towels. This is not an exaggeration. I'm ok with a little grease but this just seemed excessive. Flavor-wise, we thought they were all good. The second downfall which in my opinion is kind of a big deal, a few of them were a bit raw on the inside. When masa is cooked through, it should not be mushy when you bite into it. The curtido was pretty good and so was the salsa de tomate. The green sauce I got had a kick so I really enjoyed it. I would've given this place 5 stars as the restaurant itself is very clean and nice on the inside. The gentleman who took my order was very nice and provided good customer service. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical about this place given the environment it is located in. Yes, I judged a book by it's cover. Shame on me. But, holly crap! The pupusas are delicious!! And the employees are extremely nice! I'm weird when it comes to having to go pick up my food and praying it'll still be hot when I get home. I asked the kind lady handling the orders if she could do anything to keep my food warm and she went far beyond the call of duty! I ordered 2 pupusas de Loroco y queso, 3 revueltas, 1 queso con serano, orden de pastelitos, orden de empanadas, y fresco de ensalada. It was beyond delicious! Very good ! If I could give it 100 stars I would the pupusas reminded me of my abuelitas. Food was amazing and al quién iso la comida mi respeto, porque estaba delicioso ! This spot is AMAZING! I had never had Salvadoran food before so I made sure to let the server know that I'm a total noob. I asked for her help on what to choose and I eventually picked out the Pollo Encebollado & plantains. I also checked in on yelp and received a free empanada. The chicken was so flavorful and juicy. It was absolutely perfect. The serving size is HUGE! I originally ordered just for myself but showed my husband how much food I received and we split everything plus had leftovers. Hands down the best Salvadorian restaurant I have been to. The food was amazing and the service was even better. The girl (unfortunately I didn't get her name) who took my order over the phone was super nice and helpful and when I arrived to pick up my order she was extremely nice, she even offered to help take my drinks to my car. She even let me try the horchata Salvadoreña. (Delicious) When we got home my husband and I fell in love with the pupusas! I mean queso was coming out of the pupusas as we are just looking at them haha. Omg we took our first bite and we fell in love . They are huge and very well served. Super worth the $2.75 (that's a great price ) for the stuffed pupusa. We got a total of 16 pupusas to take home, definitely going back again and recommending this place to all my friends and family. Mind you being a Mexican and loving our Mexican food I could say "id rather eat a pupusa from here then a torta!" Hahaha! Also you must try their refresco (ensalada) or like I said (Mexican me!) agua de fruta Hahahah ! Delicious!!!! How lucky are we to have Loroco Bistro so close to home? EXTREMELY LUCKY! I order their Carne Azada plate with chorizo, red beans, and rice. The meat is always tender and exactly how I order it. The rice and beans are perfect. The tortillas are excellent to deep them in the beans. So much food comes with the order, they are definitely generous. The azada is tender and easy to eat. Great flavor but that goes for everything I've tried. My wife gets the pupusas and they are very good and you get plenty. We tried this place for my husbands birthday dinner and EVERYONE enjoyed their food. The food here is sooooo good! Fresh and well seasoned. I got the Carne Azada plate with shrimp (added garlic, butter cilantro sauce to the shrimp) and omg it was delicious! Definitely coming back with more friends and family. We were a large party and the hostess and waitress did an amazing job at getting all of our orders right and serving the food right out the stove. I had noticed this spot being constructed prior to the pandemic. Then of course the pandemic happened and I was bummed out since this is the closest Salvadoran place close to home. When I saw they opened I was so happy! Let me just say that for you Salvi's out there the cortido is on point and if that's on point then you know the pupusas are on point! Yes they are!
