I am now a member of the board, have adopted 2 dogs through them, raise money for them, and will do anything for this rescue. It's crazy to me that some people would give a 1 star review because their application got denied! We receive tons of applications and sometimes you just aren't the right fit. It happened to me and i didn't cry about it and try to ruin the reputation of the rescue. Shelly has done more for the breed that anyone else in the state of Arizona and maybe even in the entire United States. She has devoted her life to helping these dogs and you attack her and the rescue because you got denied. I have been going to our weekly pack walks for the past 5 years and have never seen any of the people who leave bad reviews show up once. When we adopted Angus, an American Bulldog, he was extremely reactive, had zero impulse control, and was tough to manage.
