A cute little local diner. Staff was friendly and attentive. I had the steak and cheese with peppers, onions and mushrooms and homemade potato chips. My wife had the grilled chicken sandwich also with homemade potato chips. Our food was served promptly and was delicious. My steak and cheese was very tender and the sub style roll was soft and fresh. My wife's grilled chicken was cooked and seasoned perfectly. We both enjoyed our meal. The bill was about $34 with tip. Their lobster rolls looks ridiculously good. When your finished eating go next door for some homemade ice cream.

It's a homey small restaurant that serves comfort food with great service. It's nothing fancy. The menu is simple. I order chicken tender basket which come with hand cut fried and coleslaw. We was hungry while driving to Acadia National park and this seems to be the only restaurant on this road. If you get hungry on the same route, this is a good option.

Old school Maine diner on Route three, the Belfast Road. The most casual and unpretentious place you will ever find! Great Maine diner menu, seafood, fried chicken, Salisbery steak, you name it! Very friendly and welcoming, A lot of locals hanging out.

Sad, sad piece of pie.

We arrived early and found a spot in the very small lot they have next to the building. There were plenty of street spots open within walking distance as well. The whole area fills up starting in late morning, so I would plan your trip and know all of your parking options in advance so that you aren't driving 5 miles an hour down the road looking for parking. LOL There is usually a wait, so just be prepared for it. I was able to put our name on the list and we walked around the area. Our server was great - wow was she energetic. Zipping around, smiling and engaging with all of the customers. Our food was delicious!! The sticky bun...we managed to snag one of the last few left. Again, get there early if you don't want to miss out. The corned beef hash - amazing Biscuits - YUM Gravy - savory goodness. Home fries - flavorful and not too greasy. Eggs - perfect! I highly recommend this place and I hope to be able to return again soon, during the non-tourist season.

This cozy breakfast and lunch spot is popular with locals and visitors, so you'll likely have to wait for a table. It is definitely worth the wait, but If you're in a hurry, check to see if a seat is available at the counter. Service at Home Kitchen is warm and welcoming, and you're in for a treat if you're lucky enough to sit in Zan's area (short for Suzanne). I couldn't decide between a tuna sandwich or a grilled cheese, and she suggested combining both into a tuna melt. Brilliant! Along with a shared order of large fries, it was a tasty and filling lunch. The best part? All of it was gluten free! Home Kitchen bakes their own GF bread and pastries, and they are far superior to grocery-store GF baked goods. Even though we were sated from lunch, Zan encouraged us to order dessert, since they had a GF chocolate cupcake with salted caramel frosting. On her recommendation, we got two cupcakes to go - a GF chocolate cupcake for me, and a pumpkin cupcake with maple cream cheese frosting for my friend -- which we enjoyed later in the day from the comforts of home. Wow. Super delicious. More please!

Ordered the lamb with Orzo... mouth watering with incredible taste snd texture, falafel (Best ever and as a New Yorker of the Jewish persuasion I've eaten a lot of falafel) was incredibly moist. The accoutrements that went with it were outstanding and tasty as well. The three of us shared those two entrées as well as the beet salad which was scrumptious. The cocktails were fabulous... We enjoyed the margaritas which were fruity, flavorful and refreshing . For dessert, we shared the chocolate Babka . Don't tell my Bubbie that it was even better than hers. The only disappointment is that they close for the season, and that's what makes the place extra special for us . See you next year !

We were seated promptly and waited 45 minutes for our food. I wouldn't object completely to the long wait , but the food that arrived was lackluster , and barely worth a mention here. I had eggs Benedict , eggs were overcooked and cold. My partner ordered the shasuka. This was an odd presentation with the eggs and sauce in a broiler dish , with pita bread and spinach on the side. I always assumed eggs and spinach , and sauce should all be together. Like so many restaurants I encounter in Maine , it's not that the food or service is that bad, but rather the fact that with minimal effort , it could be so much better.

We were only third or fourth in line. We waited outside and along the bridge; it was beautiful! The food was very good and we tried nearly everything offered. It was very fast service and friendly. The only tricky thing is tables. It would be helpful to have someone directing to tables because some people grabbed tables before they had even ordered. (The best system for this I've ever seen was at Biscuit Love in Nashville. Super long (but fast) counter ordering, and then their staff takes you to a table based on the size of your group. It was kind of amazing.)

Little did we know that the farmer's Market was canceled due to the extreme heat wave, BUT Erin decided to serve lunch. We could t believe it! We had her fried chicken and strawberry shortcake. Wow! It was beautifully served even on cardboard boxes. Erin was working in her small kitchen making this delicious blessing for all who came. The heat we complained about became a blessing in disguise. I think there might be a life lesson in there too. We met Erin and as we were leaving met Michael. They are genuinely hospitable people who make you feel welcome.

We were greeted by a friendly server The menu was diverse, and all the dishes seemed well curated. They serve local coffee! I had the generously portioned sweet potato and scrambled egg bowl. The server offered to bring out fresh home fries. then the front of the house manager brought our bill and discounted the tab greatly. He was very apologetic. We definitely would go back based on this customer service. Worth mentioning, there is a side entrance that is handicap accessible (the main entrance on Centre Street has steps leading up to it).
