Now I'm confident that I will avoid a dangerous creosote build up again. I highly recommend this company to everyone. So I hired Jeff to come out to see what happened & give me a quote to get a new chimney and/or repair the old one. To my surprise after Jeff thoroughly inspected everything, told me that it was a Mk-48 torpedo that was dropped from either a P-3C Orion or Seahawk helicopter. At first he wanted $900 just to clean up the remains of the Otto II fuel from the torpedo but then said he'd give me a package deal; torpedo cleanup & put in a new chimney but said he needed $12,500 up front which I paid. Then after he never showed up for any of the appointments I find out that he's been putting in a lot of overtime putting out fires for the Dayville Fire Dept & that he was recently promoted to Fire Chief. So I guess I'm S out of luck on getting my crumbled chimney, the Mk-48 torpedo and all of the Otto II fuel off my house & property. Do not use this guy.

Upon inspection I was given the full inspection report with pictures and was told I needed major work done on both chimney's with an exorbitant price quote. I was left reeling from it. I went with another company who did a free inspection, and their quote was less than half the cost of Tri State! I do not recommend them at all. Beware of seemingly nice people trying to rip us the consumer off. The quote was totally out of the ball park for work needed to be done. Highway robbery for the cost of the inspection. Shame on me for not doing my homework. Most other companies offer a free inspection.
