Malta Gardens, Malta Pointe etc. After living here for years, dealing with multiple Maintenance Calls, only having to get no response, or no service back in return for things I needed fixed, like MOLD on wooden tiles, Mold underneath my tiles and on the wall. Which is all coming from something I called and told them about and they said they would come and fix. They never did, also they decided to SUPER GLUE and staple a drawer together to fix it, and the other drawer just fell apart like the first one (maintnence came and fixed that one already but i assume he probably did the same thing to that. Laurie is the manager that runs this site and the others from what i gather. She's done nothing but lie, and give us run around's the entire time on paying rent etc, so we payed last months rent late, its now the next month, we gave her a check on the 31st of last month, apparently she still wants to charge us late fees and court costs for the month of August saying that it falls into lasts months late rent. And its only the 9th, we have until monday to leave. NOTE: WE owe nothing from last month, AND we payed EXTRA into this month. We have the money, but were going to court instead. Don't let these people rob you, take them to court like we are. Laurie Hayner is the manager by the way, if you ever come to any of these places, please get far away, theres a reason this place is drug infested and everyone gets evicted from here. Steer Clear of solomon apartments or anything owned by them, and Laurie Hayner. All of this information is true, not a single word was a lie.

Prior to the inspection, I had a few questions and Jason called me and took his time addressing my concerns. I didn't feel rushed and he was very friendly and put me at ease. My husband and I were not able to attend the inspection, but I felt totally comfortable with that after speaking with him. Our realtor raved about him and she was absolutely right to rave. He did a very thorough job inspecting the house and he called us that night to discuss it, and even sent us the final report the same day, despite it being late in his time zone. When he called us to discuss it, he took his time explaining his findings and answering our questions. We did not feel rushed at all. He is very friendly and personable and easy to talk to. The report was quite detailed and contained a lot of photos which I appreciated. I felt that I had a much better understanding of the condition of the house and I feel confident proceeding with the purchase. Jason made a potentially stressful experience very easy and smooth. This will be our fourth house purchase and he has been the best inspector that we have worked with by far, please do not hesitate to use his service!

Jason came with impressive scientific equipment and determined that there were high mold levels COMING FROM OUTSIDE my apartment building. We looked at the results together (two species of non-toxic mold) and with a few air purifiers I was free of that issue. I could not agree more with Nick's review. Even 3 years later, not one thing has changed and I was…read morein complete denial until I experienced everything he described. I went through it during the construction process first hand and I'm still dealing with them almost a year after signing my contract. I wish I had never done this. I was constantly stressed out and this was and is still a completely awful experience. Whoever gave this company 5 stars was clearly paid to, probably so they wouldn't have a 1 star rating. I honestly don't know how Frank can legitimately run a business like this. Not one person working for him will care about you, your family, or your situation. All they want is your money and they will say anything to get it. A perfect description, as Nick said, is over promised expectations and undelivered results. That should be their slogan. If you do choose to go with them, be prepared to: 1. Overpay for your house by thousands of dollars for pretty shitty work and low quality materials. It's what Frank calls "affordable". Do your research and the math on the outrageous upgrade costs. You will realize you're getting screwed. 2. Have zero communication between the site coordinator, operations manager, construction manager, and the construction team... you might as well kiss your blueprints goodbye because what you sign won't be followed and the things listed as standard features in your contract won't be included. I know this sounds crazy and you're saying to yourself, "how can that be?", but it really is true. 3. Have plenty of incompetent subcontractors working on your house. 75% of the guys are still learning how to do their jobs or are in training and the construction manager is never there to supervise anyone. This is because Frank is so cheap he's not willing to pay for people who actually know what they are doing. I am afraid for what is behind the walls, seriously. The day we closed on our house, we had no hot water and our dishwasher wouldn't turn on. How bad could it be, right? After being present for the necessary repairs, we found out that our hot and cold water lines were connected together and the water line to our refrigerator had never been done at all. The main electrical wiring to our dishwasher had been nearly cut in half and could have started a fire if the dishwasher was able to turn on. I thought you're supposed to have peace of mind building a new house... not so much. One more example, our neighbor's house was built 6 months before ours. Their sump pump failed a weekend when they were out of town. They came home to 2 feet of water in their basement, everything was ruined, including the furnace, and they did not have flood insurance. They had quite a battle getting that taken care of with BH. 4. Deal with their greedy real estate agent/site coordinator, Maryellen Blair. She is a complete bitch and has a serious conflict of interest with this type of home purchase. Unfortunately, she is the only tether you have to your house after you've signed the contract so get ready to deal with her for 4+ months. Be sure to have your own real estate agent with you for every single meeting. I would highly suggest one with new construction experience who will abdicate for you because Maryellen is a snake in this industry. I could not stand this woman, by the last walk through I wouldn't even speak to her, let alone shake her hand. 5. Be lied to...constantly. We were rushed into making decisions and signing off on things that were not correct. If we didn't, then we were told that we are holding up the building process. This is a complete lie because they already have their own agenda (and blueprints apparently) and the time frame in which you make your decisions has little effect on that when they are just starting to build the house. What they don't want you to know is they are rushing you so you don't look at the details. They are vague for a reason, which allows them to get away with shit behind your back and still make you pay for it at the end of the day. Clearly, I am very unhappy and I do not recommend BH to anyone. Everything I've had to go through has been a fight because nothing is ever done right the first time and no one cares about my house. I paid more than market value for it, so I've literally thrown my money out the window and I won't be going get it back anytime soon. No amount of remedies has made up for what this builder has and continues to put me through. I don't care about his reputation in the Capital Region because it is a bunch of bullshit. It is unfortunate that more people don't voice their experiences to warn others from going through this fate. He should not be allowed to lie to people and use and abuse them like they are garbage, it is absolutely disgraceful. Save yourself the aggravation and build with or buy from someone else...

In a relatively small area in a walk-in closet(with other items stored),ELI had to himself lift the heavy new and old heaters for the job! They worked together, keeping my floors pristine. There aren't words for how bad this nightmare has been. Bought a new boiler - full new system - in…read moreSept. for $19,100. The person who installed the new boiler apparently installed every single aspect incorrectly. He also barely spoke English and, when I asked why the new system didn't seem to work, he hopped in his orange truck and drove away. Just drove away. Didn't say goodbye, didn't even try to make it work. The wiring was wrong, all zones were set up incorrectly, main water valves were installed 'backward,' the plastic parts to keep the heat from going to every zone weren't installed, the pipes were installed far too close together to work correctly. The expansion tank was faulty and installed in the wrong spot, which could impact its ability to function. Outdoor exhaust pipes were supposed to be above snow level, for obvious reasons, but were installed very low. I also have a 3-story home, and the boiler apparently does not have the power to heat the third floor - something I of course wasn't told beforehand. My old boiler had no problem with that. But, okay, I'll hope heat rises. People who have tried to make it work since the stunningly bad installation include Elijah, Alex, Charlie, Ron, Charlie again, Ron again, Matt, Bruce, Elijah again, Brandon, Myles, Ron again, Ron again, Christian, Brandon again, Brandon again, and Fred. All together, there have been over 20 visits from Reimer since September - and I was traveling for nearly 2 months or it would no doubt have been more. This $19,100 boiler was very expensive, the Reimer salesman said, because it is such a quality product and they do a superior job. Turns out, one visiting tech then told me they don't install this type of boiler any more because they are terrible - something a tech should not tell a client, after the fact. Fred, a longtime and knowledgable technician, seems to have maybe fixed the problems, as the boiler has now worked for about 2 weeks. So, if you are forced to use Reimer - and I'd suggest major dental surgery would be far more fun and simple - ask for Fred only.
