In over 30 years, I have NEVER had a negative experience with a realtor. Last week I was contacted by Robert Taylor an agent with KW Platform..he scheduled an appt to show his clients my home. When I was forced to cancel his appt due to his lack of communication as well as a family emergency, I politely told him he could reschedule his appt for anytime beyond that particular day. Mr. Taylor called me and erupted in an abusive, loud, unprofessional demeaning attack on me. When I ended the call he continued texting abusive and insulting messages. When I called KW. Platform to inform them that I would be happy to provide access for Mr. Taylors clients to view my home provided another agent from their office accompany them. I told them that I no longer felt comfortable dealing with Mr. Taylor. Rather than apologizing for his actions or making other arrangements for the clients to view my home, the office manager spent the entirety of the call defending Mr. Taylor. Today Mr. Taylor once again attempted to make an appt to show my home, I denied his request explaining that I did not feel comfortable dealing with him..he then began calling my phone even though I told both him and KW Platform that I did not want him to contact me due to his abusive behavior. Because this request was ignored I was forced to contact Marc Weiss Broker of KW Platform. Mr. Weiss was not only arrogant and rude, but he actually said he understood why Mr. Taylor treated me as he had..he then went on to tell me that he held a high position in the MLS and that I LEGALLY had to allow his abusive agent Mr. Taylor access to my home and that if I didnt, he would be sure to have my home removed from the MLS. I immediately contacted my attorney who is currently in contact with KW Legal , the NYS Dept of State..and The National Association of Realtors. I have also been informed that Marc Weiss was not being truthful when he stated that I had a legal obligation to allow his abusive agent access to my home nor does he have the authority to remove my home from the MLS. In my opinion Mr. Taylor, the KW Platform office team and Marc Weiss lack the honesty, respect and competence necessary to provide a satisfactory experience when it comes to the purchase and sale of a home.

I posted another review about Josh's fantastic service for my boiler several months ago. When my…read moremini-splits stopped blowing cold air, I knew Josh would be the one to call. He fit me into his packed schedule (of course the units picked the first hot spell of the season to act up), diagnosed a refrigerant leak, and set about fixing it. If you're not familiar with mini-split systems, the difference between them and central air is that where central air cools air at the condenser unit then circulates it through your house, mini-splits circulate refrigerant, cooling the air at various "head units" throughout the house. The advantage is that mini-splits are easier and faster to retrofit into old buildings. The disadvantage is that there are many more places for a refrigerant leak to hide. Josh filled the system with UV dye and came back late in the evening to check for leaks. He found a couple of egregiously loose fittings---a sure sign of shoddy installation by the other company that had installed the system. At this point, he suspected there were probably loose fittings elsewhere. He's keenly aware of how expensive refrigerant is, and how bad it is for the environment when it leaks. With that in mind, along with the fact that the heat spell had broken, he suggested we hold off on refilling the system until he could come back and do a full system walkthrough. When he came back, he pressurized the system to its max with Nitrogen, so he could check for leaks without wasting refrigerant. It just so happened to be the hottest day of the year (so far), but that just made him more determined to get the system running for us. He worked thoroughly but quickly and got our system running better than I think it ever has. I'm profoundly grateful for his hard work and dedication. I cannot recommend him highly enough for any HVAC work you need done.
