To save some money I washed my hair myself, went in with it wet and did not want it blown dry because braids needed to be wet and tight for look I was wanting. I reminded the young lady that braids had to be tight. I was charged the $79 yet wash and blown dry was not done. Braids were loose, could put my finger through them. Did not get the look I wanted, it should have been much fuller and kinky. So that was a waste of $85 dollars and my time.

Requested an "updo" for a wedding in late 2024. I requested to speak or text with the person that…read morewould be doing my hair to warn him or her that I have a crap ton of fine, extremely thick curly hair. I needed to know how they wanted me to arrive, i.e clean and straight, I day dirty and straight, clean and curly, etc. and as a fun little fact, ANY updo I have done in the past was always met with a very difficult head of hair that pushes out bobby-pins and because of the quantity of hair I have it rarely makes it through the night. Despite my efforts to contact the person prior, he was never responsive. When I arrived he was very nice and I showed him photos of what I was hoping for and gave the warnings I had been trying to share the MONTHS prior to the appointment. I took my hair down that was already clean, straight and in a messy bun. He ran his fingers through my hair and then it started! The comments about how much hair I have, how thick it is, how fine it is, the curl he could see in it despite my having straightened it. All I could do was think, I TRIED TO WARN YOU! Rather than lashing out and pointing to the fact I made numerous attempts to try and contact him before my appointment but never heard back, I did ask if he felt he could do a successful updo that would last the night! Very confidently he says "oh yes! I've been doing hair and updo's for over 20 years". Okay I thought and to try and help lighten the mood, I said "let's see what we can do with this beast". Now, if I can get a dime for every time he said "girl, guuuurlll, golly girl you weren't kidding, holy cow girl", or other similar comments, I would have made easy money that day! It takes just about an hour to finally tame the beast and get my hair up. We finish, I pay and head back to the house we rented. Before I even stepped in the house, my hair was already starting to come down! I had to have my sisters do their best with additional bobby-pins to at least make it to the family photos at 4pm. By the time the ceremony started, my hair was about 1/2 down and losing the fight against gravity. We finally just gave up and began pulling the 47 bobby-pins out of my hair. I would say I was pleased to have someone scheduled on a Saturday for an updo but the unresponsive nature and his hands and salon smelling of cigarette smoke, I would absolutely NOT recommend doing any updo from here if you have a head of hair like I do.

The technician also brought her 20-month-old child to the appointment, which made the environment feel unprofessional and distracting during a service that requires precision and attention to detail. The appointment was advertised to take 30 minutes, but instead lasted an hour and a half. After the poor results, I was told that my natural lashes were "weak" and was encouraged to buy/use a lash serum instead of taking accountability for the quality of the work. For the price charged, I expected much better professionalism, communication, and results. Unfortunately, I left feeling disappointed and unhappy with both the service and the final look.

Very disappointed in the service I received from Randa…read more First of all, I was told microblading is a two part process (by her). She has only completed the first part and has yet to return my calls/texts to finish the job. My eyebrows look jacked. Second, when she did my eyebrows the first time (after two cancellations), it was very uncomfortable because it was at her "friend's" house near a window full of cobwebs. She also fed me some crap about not using an anesthetic because it takes too long and doesn't work. So I trusted her. Well I can tolerate a lot of pain but that was ridiculous. A little anesthetic goes a long way. I'm 6 months pregnant and was covered in sweat when she was done in only 10 minutes. Yes, 10 minutes.... Third, she only charged me $100 for the first set because she told me to return my Groupon and just pay her in cash. Seemed sketchy...should've known. Been texting her for over 3 weeks trying to get my 2nd appointment and had replied back once saying she doesn't know who I am and doesn't live in the area anymore. Wtffff?? Lesson learned. Will have to get my eyebrows fixed in a professional place that can show me a license and is CLEAN.
