We got seated and service was a little slow, but that was ok because of the 'rush hour traffic' going on at the restaurant. Once our server did get to us, she was great! We got the bloomin' onion as an appetizer. YES, they have a bloomin' onion. We love those things, and had to get one. Theirs is pretty good! The sauce is pretty close to Outbacks, and is not too greasy. I was surprised at how tender their Filet Mignon was. It was great! The sweet potato casserole is like a dessert (so good)!! And Mac and cheese is pretty ok as well. They gave us a ticket at the end of our meal for free ice cream for all 6 of us!! (Of course we had to use it since it's free). They have a shop to the left tucked away from the restaurant, with ice cream, shirts, a parrot, and many old timey merchandise! The blueberry cheesecake ice cream had good flavor, and had good texture! Not too icy. If you're in the area, come dine at Cody Creek! You will enjoy your experience.
