I have been wanting to try the food here. Now that I live closer to the area I took the…read moreopportunity. I definitely do not regret it. Looking forward to going back asap! The service is top notch. Very warm, friendly, and inviting. Food is served on Wednesday and Sunday. We went on Wing Wednesday and this is what was had.... Waiting on soul food Sunday... Whole fried chicken wings:10/10 (flavors spicy magic dust, Thai sweet and tangy) chicken seasoned through and through, tender and juicy on the inside. Perfectly crispy on the outside. Seasoned from heaven. The magic dust is flavorful with savory notes. The Thai sweet and tangy is just that with a hint of heat. I plan to try all of the flavors. Candied yams: 12/10 made with the influence of our ancestors. Sweet but not too much. Balanced hints of cinnamon and brown sugar, I am sure there is a citrus element. Perfection. Collard greens: 9/10 cooked very well not over cooked or mushy. Seasoned well. Savory notes. I did not taste a sweet and spicy note which is how I make my greens and my preference. These are still really good. Mac and cheese: 10/10 noodles cooked perfectly, cheesy, creamy, seasoned, comforting. It hit all of the marks. Rice with oxtail gravy: 12/10 ooooh sooo gooood! Rice and gravy is my comfort food. This rice with oxtail gravy brings it up several notches. I love the savory and spicy flavor... the spice is hitting just so you know. Seasoning is on point. Very nice touch to place an actual oxtail in the middle of the rice. Sweet potato thang: 15/10 please keep this away from me! No words... just try it.

I love the smaller size as it's rich, creamy but you definitely don't want to eat too much . Her Greens is grandmama and them greens!! Hands down the best greens I've had so far. Sweet potatoes were charred and not too sweet quick I loved. I liked her Mac, it's the creamy not hard kind and my husband loved the smothered turkey wings. They serve food Wednesday's and Fridays and for the month of July, all desserts will be $5 each!!! But again, the owner is for sure sent from heaven with the disposition of a very humble soul. She introduced herself immediately and was talking to my daughter so kind! Then she was telling another customer some sound advice about holistic herbs for her alignment. May this place be blessed beyond measure!

We ordered the Ube Tres Leches and Mango Halo-Halo. The Ube Tres Leches was incredibly moist, rich, and packed with ube flavor without being overly sweet. The Mango Halo-Halo was refreshing, loaded with toppings, and perfect for a warm Texas day. Not pictured was the Ube Oreo Cookie, which was equally delicious and a great treat to take on the go. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was relaxed. We love finding places that offer Filipino-inspired desserts, and Scoop N Buns definitely delivered. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!

The…read moreline was insanely long and I think they had the longest line out of all the vendors there. We got the Pandan halohalo & mango halohalo to try. Since it was at a festival, the price was more expensive and it was $12 each. Both of the halo halo were refreshing and the ice cream were so good. My favorite topping was the flan, it was so creamy and paired so well with the shaved ice, but I wish they give you more flan though. Overall it was a good experience but I'd probably not going pay $12 for it again.
