Mushroom fried rice, Shrimp Chow Mein and Lemon chicken

We ordered take out on Valentine's. This is honestly the worst Chinese food I have tasted in decades. Ordered the Shrimp Chow Mein that was absolutely tasteless and the bean sprouts were in a slimy sauce like they tried to thicken a tasteless sauce with cornstarch. The mushroom fried rice was horrible...the rice had a burnt taste to it and the mushrooms were less than fresh and cut in such huge chunks that they may as well just thrown whole mushrooms in there. The lemon chicken had hardly any chicken in it and they threw the sauce right in with the deep fried chicken pieces so it was basically soggy slop. My egg roll had more air than ingredients in it. Honestly a frozen rice bowl from the grocery store would have been better. The racoons will be eating the rest of this crap!

Bang for your buck, this is the place to fill up, on your favorite Chinese food. Though the chicken balls were a little too dry for my liking. The deep fried chicken wings were quite large, meaty and perfectly cooked. I could literally, just go in for those, with some Buffalo hot wing sauce. Which I would have to bring myself! There are the traditional prepackaged goop...eg. Soya sauce plum sauce etc. With sweet sour sauce being the only hot sauce. Noodle dishes and especially the egg foo young was the best I have had in a long time. The lack of the traditional brown sauce was somewhat, quite disappointing. What is that stuff anyhow? It looks totally disgusting; I just don't look at it........mmmm.....yum! They had a fair selection of pies. With the coconut pie and coffee cake being the big hit with us. If you like nice salad bars, DO NOT come here! Lettuce and 3 types of salad dressing does not count! Jell-O was a rubbery, colored, flavorless mass. Supper rubbery though! I even considered taking some with me when I left, and fire it through the parking lot. I think this stuff would hold together, and bounce like you have never seen before! All joking aside, there was something good to eat, for both my lady and myself. Can't beat these good eats @ only $20 for the lunch buffet. I will most definitely, be back. With some Louisiana/Buffalo wing, Hot sauce.

My partner recommended that I try this place. We ordered in. Unfortunately my partner had not tried the wonton so wasnt aware that it is basically wonton wrappers fried. I called to verify it wasnt a mistake because Ive never had a wonton without filling&was told it was no mistake. At this point I just wanted wonton so my partner was nice enough to go to jasmine Thai, they were amazing. On the left is Loon Ho wonton on the right is Jasmine Thai wonton would not recommend Loon Ho.

For a chinese buffet, Daisy has got amazing food for the price you pay. Their breaded shimp is…read morenicely done, NOT covered in an inch of bisquik then deep fried. Their buffet has a good variety for a small restaurant, the waitresses are very friendly and quick with a smile. If they had a bigger buffet, I think they'd be perfect! UPDATE!! Here it is 2 years later since this review and sadly, I had to drop the 4 star rating to a 3. The buffet is now a step below what it used to be, the selection is a bit more boring, we went in for a dinner buffet, which states it begins at 4:30, food started coming out at 5:05. In that time our waitress got me a coffee when we walked in at 4:20, and I had to flag her down after 5 to get a refill, she didn't check on us once during our wait time. I may have even dropped it down another star if it wasn't for the fact that they STILL make the best shrimp around, crispy, golden, NOT over battered and the sand vein removed, which a LOT of buffet place don't even bother to do. The shrimp alone is worth that extra star, and since it's a buffet, have many! On a side note, most of their breaded or battered selections do NOT overbatter, nicely done. Still worth the visit and still reasonably priced!

The chicken and vegetable dish was OK - at least sort-of edible. Chicken a bit funky…read more The two noodle dishes were inedible. Shanghai Noodles were too mushy to eat. The Pad Thai was just sad - a mound of dry rice noodles - with barely any sauce - with some pitiful broccoli, carrots, mushroom bits, and some peanuts on top. It didn't even resemble Pad Thai. I wasn't expecting the Pad Thai we enjoyed in Bangkok but, at minimum, something edible?
