I know, I know... it's an airport restaurant:/ The service was Ok, the bartender was nice enough - the place is bright, right by Gate 6 at MSN. So, airport traveler vibes. The food was lacking (kind of on me, I should know better) Madison is such an awesome foodie town, eat before you fly out. Or after you get into town :)

This is an airport place and so it's expensive. The one complaint is that they weren't very fast and that would make a difference for catching a flight. We did order the deep fried cheese curds because Madison. We also ordered the cobb salad - it looked lovely, the greens were fresh and taste was good. The seating area is like a fast food restaurant.

Amazing and friendly staff, tasty food and drinks. The airport pricing is to be expected, but I think this is a great addition to the Madison Airport! Check it out!

I left hubby with no option other than stopping for lunch or at least ordering some food to go. I lived in Kansas as a teenager and fondly remember discovering bierocks and later making them for my own family. I wish we were locals because not only are the bierocks good, but this place has a fun vibe that would definitely bring us back. It was a game day when we stopped, and there was a fair crowd cheering on their favorite Wisconsin team. We ordered a Classic with Bavarian seasoning and a Rosemary Lamb Bierock to go along with some jalapeño poppers. I really enjoyed the Classic with the additional seasoning. It gave it an added boost of flavor. My husband was pleased with the Rosemary Lamb. Each came with chips and a pickle. Next time, I hope we can stop in and stay for a cocktail or craft beer as well.

Place was not busy and our order was messed up -- ingredients and sides weren't correct or were missing -- which is the reason for 3 stars. We did get comped one meal due to the fact that an entire meal for our son wasn't made and we had to wait another 15 minutes for it to be cooked. Overall, I'd like to try this place again to see if it can regain some stars and my confidence in the service.

The bartender assured us that their vegan options were incredible. MadisonTap features many local Wisconsin beers on tap. They seem to often rotate the beers and keep a solid selection. MadisonTap was spacious with bar seats, tables, and booths available. The design and decor were well thought out. The crowd seems to be young professionals in their mid-20s to early 30s. I don't recall the beers I got here but I do remember prices being ~$7-10 range mark. The bartender and owner place special emphasis on being vegetarian and vegan friendly. Even one of the cocktails used vegan butter. There was a single bartender when I visited but it was a bit slow. We had a great conversation and watched Christmas movies on the projectors. Overall, solid experience. 5/5. Favorited in Madison, WI.

We entered from the front of the building. It looks like they feature a different brewery every month. The interior of the bar was pretty classy and new. Their patio was very cool and spacious. We had a blast playing with a baby at the bar and my Coke was great. From the bar we entered the dining area- just past the bar- and since there was no one there to sit us we just sat down. We joined a table of friends who were finishing their meal, as there were open chairs at their table which was next to an open table for two. The waitress came over. We said "hi" and asked to place our dinner order, start a separate check so our friends could cash out. We offered to move to the nearby separate table for two, as this sounded upsetting to the staffer as she said she was getting off and couldn't take our order. We said that was fine and she could send over another staffer, we wanted to make things easy. But she just left, and was clearly angry at us. Eventually someone else came to take our order. Took quite a while to get the food and drinks, but they were good, especially the french fries. But then we were told we could not pay for our order, as it had been added to our friends' tab and they had unknowingly already paid for us when they cashed out. It was weird. We are sorry to have upset the waitress, but not sure what we could have done differently, as there was no one there to seat us and we thought we could sit at an open table or join our friends. Neither seemed to work for her that night. I would return for another visit. I like the neighborhood feel and free street parking.

While we were very happy with our enormous half-pretzel and my partner said Prost made the best beer cheese sauce she'd ever tasted, our mains were kinda lackluster. My partner remarked that the Beyond Bratwurst merely tasted like breakfast sausage. The sauerbraten was just some plain pulled pork with a scant drizzle of sauerbraten gravy, nothing like the well-marinated real deal. The potato pancake wasn't really pancake-y, more like some glorified shredded hash browns. The red cabbage was kinda bland. The pickled veg that accompanied the sausage plate looked and tasted fresh and crisp, with a nice hint of warm spice present in the carrots. The space is a pleasing reuse of an old deconsecrated church, with the requisite beer hall-style dining benches. Sports play on the televisions in the main dining hall and above the bar. In summary, I guess you gotta know what Prost!'s strengths are. Their pretzel is epic, but most everything else seemed to fall short. If you're there just for the beer, you can't go wrong.

I'd heard mixed reviews from various people who had gone right when they opened, and I was very happy with the place. We were celebrating my pup's 12th birthday, and the bartender offered him a "Pup-tini." Wow, how sweet and it was the cutest, most thoughtful pup treat I've seen in quite some time. The bartender was super nice and accommodating for my un-Wisconsin request of a classic old fashioned served up. And omg it was delicious -- it's hit or miss at cocktail bars how it ends up, and this is officially one of my favorites. While tiny, the inside is really cutely decorated and has these amazing lush emerald green chairs. They're so comfortable! I'm already planning to come back here with some friends. It's size means it probably will be packed at peak drinking times, but I came on a weekday afternoon close to when they opened. There were still a decent amount of people here, but there was a nice outdoor patio type space as well. Consider this one of my new favorite places in Madison. Highly recommend.

First thing is they have touch tunes so you can set your own vibes for the night. The decor and lighting is perfect. A lot of velvet seating and gold accents. It is a dog friendly space which is kind of random for a cocktail bar but I don't mind it. I pet 4 dogs. The bartenders were super nice. I ordered the "Yes you can buy me love" which was Espolon Tequila, Strawberry, Lime Juice, Triple Sec, Coconut Milk, Mint, Sugar Rim. It was really good. I also tried my husband's "Stuck in a Snowbank" which was state line coffee liqueur, bourbon cream, frangelico, cold brew. It basically tasted like a coffee that was a little sweeter. All the cocktails were great. Again I'm so glad we stumbled across this stop because even the bar goers were super nice.

The brewery is under construction until next year so it's a little bit restricted in what there is compared to when I was last here in 2019, however, it's still worth a visit. They do have a large gift shop/beer depot. I always buy a lot of beer to mule back to KC. On this visit they had a limited beer release so it was busy. The individuals working in the depot were a bit rude to be honest. I don't know if they were just over it because there were a lot of people, but they weren't friendly nor very helpful. If it had been my first visit, it definitely would've been a turn off. The individuals working in the gift shop were nice. I bought a few Christmas gifts from there. After I bought all the merch I wanted, I headed across the street where they had a makeshift tasting room. They had lots of tables to sit at outside. In the tasting room you have the open of a pint or 3 tasters. You get to keep the glass either way you go which is pretty cool. I went with the taster option. They give you a glass and a bracelet that has 3 taster tabs that they remove as you get each one. The individuals working that station were nice and friendly. I love their sours and had to get pours of the strawberry rhubarb which is one of my favorites. They also have a self guided tour. It's on the smallish side but still cool to see even with all the construction. The bathroom situation was a bit iffy. Definitely try to use the gift shop bathrooms because otherwise it's porta-potties or there are restrooms in the tour area. Those are pretty run down and the stalls don't lock. My apologies to the poor lady I walked in on mid piss with her pants around her ankles. Overall, it's definitely worth checking out especially if you've never been. I can't wait until they finish construction and I'm able to return to see what it looks like.

I wish everything were a little closer together, but the view on the way makes up for some of it. The best part is that when you buy a beer, it comes in a glass you get to keep. They offer pints and sampler glasses, so you can go big or try a few. They also give you a free beer token, which you can use at local restaurants or keep as a souvenir. I kept mine.
