I was referred to this shop by Dil's uncle, who owns another shop. Originally, I had gone to the…read moreuncle's shop for a simple nail removal and tire patch, but during that visit my passenger door was dented. The uncle referred me to Dil for the repair. To be fair, Dil was polite and professional during our interactions, and at first glance the dent repair itself looked good. However, after a couple of weeks I noticed a puncture on the interior trim panel that was not there before. When I brought it up, Dil and his partner explained that they do not remove or touch the trim panel during this type of repair. I mentioned that a friend of mine who owns a body shop said trim panels are often removed for dent repair work, but since I cannot prove exactly when the damage occurred, I accepted their explanation. What disappointed me more was the condition my car was returned in. There were white splatters all over the passenger window, exterior door area, and piano black gloss trim. At the time I assumed it was simple residue that would wipe off easily, but it turned out to be much more difficult to remove. I still do not know whether it was paint overspray, rubbing compound, or something else from the repair process. While trying to clean it off myself, the piano black trim became scratched. I take responsibility for the scratches since I attempted to remove the residue on my own, but I do not understand why the splatter and residue were left all over the vehicle in the first place. There was also rubbing compound left on parts of the car and white residue on the driver-side floor mat. I rarely leave negative reviews, but overall this experience left me disappointed with the cleanup and quality control after the repair.

He even swapped my full back tire with my front flat so that I would have the donut in the back on my front-wheel drive car (which I was much more thankful for driving in the snow that evening). I am sad to see that they don't have more glowing reviews. They have a great group of people who are professional and quick! I was off to work by 8:45 (flat called in at 7:30)--that's good time in my book (because had I tried to fix it I would just be leaving for work...tomorrow.) :P Highly recommended!

I called to come get my possessions out of the car and informed me I would have to pay $400 dollars to remove my car in order to get my belongings. Um, excuse me? My car is a part of a documented accident and shouldn't be moved until insurance evaluates the damage. I had to have the insurance company call and inform them that I was picking up my belongings. The secretary refused to listen to what I was informing her of and kept cutting me off by repeating the same business policy over and over. She was rude and uncooperative and I do not recommend this business to anyone.

Ease of appointment: I brought my car in to check on availability, cost and how long it would take to fix the car. Brad mentioned that the wait would be about 2 weeks or so. However, he called me to inform me that he can fix my car earlier so I was able to drop it off earlier than anticipated. Cost: Average cost, Brad worked with the insurance company of the person that rear-ended me. Overall: It took 2-3 days to fix my car and they also provided me with a car wash so it looked nice and clean. I appreciated how the owner used new parts for the inside of the bumper that was badly rusted. He negotiated the costs with the insurance company even though the insurance company told him to use a used part. It's nice to have a trustworthy person fixing your car and having them fix it well with new parts vs. old/used parts. I'd recommend getting your car detailed here and will be back if I happen to need it for my car or other cars in the future.

But when I heard the announcement that the insurance company was declaring it totaled I was really bummed. The large body shop I had taken the car to refused to repair a car deemed totaled. I started making calls to find a shop to repair and value my car and bring it back to life. i found one. All Around Auto Body in Schaumburg IL. The owner had been raised in the business and had followed in his dad's footsteps. After talking with Brad, the owner, I felt he was the magician that could help me with my agonizing situation. And bottom line: He repaired my car to even better than it was previous to the accident within budget and on a timely basis. When I went back to pick up my finished vehicle he was outside my car touching up little dings that had sat there forever. I so highly recommend he and his shop not only because he did such a great job but connected on a very humanistic level and I feel I also made a new friend. 4.7 rating out of 5 is extraordinary because usually the ones who leave reviews are the unsatisfied customers.
