We recently had my son's birthday party at Longplex Tiverton and it was absolutely amazing! The facility is beautiful, spacious, and has so many different activities to enjoy. The food was delicious, the VIP burger was a huge hit with everyone. We ordered pizzas, chicken tenders, chicken wings, tacos. Everything was on point. There is truly something for all ages, roller skating, basketball, soccer, hockey, volleyball, lacrosse, and flag football. They also have an arcade, karaoke, and even a dance floor to keep the party going. My son and his friends LOVE this place and can't wait to go back again. Everything was fun, well organized, and made the celebration really special. Also, Jim and his staff are amazing -- they made us feel so welcome and truly made the whole experience extra special. This spot was cool. They had a corn hole tournament, basketball game and (roller?) hockey game going on while I was there today. They also had a restaurant at, cycling facility, and a bunch of other businesses all in this complex. The parking lot was packed! read more

Came for a kids birthday party in the bounce room. The bounties were crazy. I did not see any staff around while we were there. The kids had a ton of fun. There were some rides but they were broken and not plugged in. The kids enjoyed them anyway. We then moved to the party room for pizza and cupcakes. The pizza was surprisingly tasty. The cupcakes were brought from outside so I can't review them for long plex. Beyond all that there is a ton of sports courts, a raised running track and showers in the bathroom that I didn't use. We have a gym membership for Longplex and the facility has nice, new, clean, well maintained equipment and the staff is helpful when needed. The indoor 1/4 mile track is an especially nice option for walking/running during the winter months. We go weekday mornings/early afternoon and its never too crowded to use the equipment of your choice. I only have one complaint: The volume of the music they play is extremely loud. What's most troubling to me is they don't seem to care that customers think its too loud, perhaps because the volume is much less intense in the staff office area than it is in the gym area. There is every age range above high schoolers working out when we are there and almost everyone has either air-pod type devices or noise cancelling headphones and everyone I have asked said they can barely hear their personal music or podcasts because the volume of the Longplex sound system overpowers the air pods and noise cancelling headphones' ability to reduce the blasting Longplex music to a reasonable level for personal audio use. Very few people don't use personal audio equipment at gyms these days and Longplex seems determined to change that. I have been a member at LA Fitness and Bally's in Southern, CA and gone to countless gyms on the East Coast, but never heard music played that loud during day time hours; not even close. They seemed to have raised the volume even more lately because it wasn't that loud when we were exploring new gym options. They really should do something about the loud music. At least take note of how many of your members are futilely attempting to use personal audio devices. read more

Recently joined to take advantage of the full size indoor track. To note, it is not a "track" rather it is an elevated loop around the inside of the building. There are no lanes/markers/etc. The track is almost full size - if you walk on the inside, it takes about 5 laps to get to 1 mile. If you walk on the outside, it takes about 4 laps to get to 1 mile. (Measured by my Apple Watch). I do not use the weight lifting room, indoor fields, locker room, sauna, or steam room. I also have not been to the classes, arcade, or restaurant. For $40 a month to just walk, it is pricier. But I much prefer it over a treadmill or walking around my kitchen table - ha! I may also dive into using some other options to 'get my money worth.' They used to offer a "track only" plan for $20/month. Now it is only available for 65 years and older. If that was still available, I would get a membership for the full year to allow for indoor walks during rain and inclement weather. However, for $40 a month, I will be ending my membership when the weather gets better. read more

Bigger is NOT better in this case. This place is essentially a poor man's Planet Fitness at three times the price. For $60, you have a smaller gym -- which represents a fraction of the massive complex -- with less equipment, fewer weights, and dumbells that only go up to 80 lbs. This is not a lifter's gym nor a gym for fitness enthusiasts. Go to Atlantic Fitness if you want to lift weights, do cardio, or play basketball. read more

We had a birthday party in the bouncy house area. What a hit!! All ages had a blast! And the convenience of having a full restaurant and bar was an added bonus for adults who chose to have Mimosas while watching the kiddos! Great environment, great pizza, food and drinks! This place is the perfect place for kids to have their soccer practice at. There's also many activities for the adults to do while the kids are at practice (and more to come). There is a restaurant and arcade and little shopping district. The inside of the place was really clean I have to give it to them but the food wasn't the greatest for the price paid. Overall I would only come here if your kid has practice here. read more

My first time coming to this institution and I was looking for my friends that I thought were already there so I walk up the stairs not knowing you have to pay a fee. I then go to the basketball courts to see if my friends are there when i'm stopped by a very disrespectful worker who greets me and tells me I forgot to pay. I tell her "my fault I'll pay right now." She then tells me I have to get out immediately. I'm now confused because I've made a simple mistake and now i'm being kicked out? I then see my friends after I explained to her that I was looking for them and she tells me she doesn't care because theres to many "people like like me doing stuff like this," and her boss said I have to leave. The whole time this confrontation is happening she has not contacted anybody. My friends then ask for a refund because they no longer want to stay and the lady refuses. My friends had just walked in and haven't made it past the entrance and she was refusing a refund, the whole time she is very disrespectful. Another lady behind the desk with some common courtesy and people skills then explains to her that she should just give us the refund because they just walked in. She gives my friends the refund with a displeased look on her face. The lady was not understanding at all and rude throughout the whole interaction. I feel I was profiled instantly. This was a white lady with blond hair that I did not get the name of, she had a mole on her face about 5'6. I requested to speak to her boss and she refused.
