We stayed the night in nearby Conyers, GA so we could meet a friend who lives nearby. Longhorn Steakhouse is one of his favorites, so we met here. This is actually our second time meeting our friend here. First, the service was great from the young woman who greeted us to our server, Reagan J. Reagan was personable, efficient and had a great sense of humor. Second, the bread was fresh tasting and so were the salads with ranch dressing. All three entrees looked great, but only one tasted as good as it looked. Our friends always orders the chopped steak topped with mushrooms and onions, along with a baked potato with toppings. He said it was good as always. I ordered the pork chops with mashed potatoes and brown gravy on the side. The pork chops were juicy and had a good flavor, but they had some fat on the ends that should have been cut off. Also, the texture of the meat was off. The mashed potatoes tasted good, but they come with a large pool of melted butter on top. I love butter, but it was too much. I would not order this entree again. The other entree was a 20 oz Outlaw Ribeye with asparagus. It looked like it would be delicious, BUT, it was chewy, undercooked (ordered medium rare and it boarded on rare) and over-seasoned. The asparagus was just okay. My husband rarely leaves ribeye and asparagus on his plate, but this time he did not finish his meal. He would not order that again. The Trinity Oaks Pinot noir wine, seasonal Sam Adams and Michelob drafts were tasty. The ambiance is casual and the noise level is medium (not too loud). Based on this total experience, we will choose somewhere else to meet up with our friend the next time. read more

Came here tonight with my spouse and when we got our food it was cold. I let the server know and all she offered was to heat up our food. And honestly if that is all they do. I'm sure your not suppose to say that to a paying customer. My brussel sprouts was missing from my plate i was told it was coming out in a minute which turned into 10 when i got them they were burnt. I placed an online order that was supposed to be ready at 9:30. I was called at 9:30 saying no sweet potatoes. I received it a 9:50. Everything in the bag was cold. Salmon was lukewarm. Stuffed mushrooms cheese was not even melted. Manager Justin Gilbert was very unprofessional in the manner in which he handled the situation. I asked for my food to be remade instead of a refund. He asked could he warm the mushrooms up. I declined and asked can the bag sit beside me until the food is ready he refused said he would throw it away in the kitchen and purposely walked past a trash can that was in my line of sight in the kitchen. TOTALLY DISGUSTED! We were totally disgusted tonight at the Covington, Georgia location. We traveled from Texas to visit family and decided to eat at this location. Ewww....Ewwww.... Ewwww! Then as we were seated, there was so much trash on the floor and tables unclean. We thought maybe since they were busy that was the case so we proceeded to our table. My husband began eating the Farm Fresh Field green salad with crispy chicken. My husband began to eat it, after eating about 40% of his salad he noticed a BUG in his salad. Thats right a BLACK BUG!!!!! A black MOVING bug. He almost threw up as he wondered if he had already eaten several others. We called the waiter who simply said he was sorry, took the salad and then brought our bill. He asked if we wanted another salad, NO THANK YOU! We want nothing else to do with this restaurant, our bill is fine to bring. NO manager came over to apologize or check on us, it was as if it was business as usual. I ate here a couple of weeks ago, and the food was great. Ambiance was very nice. I would've given it a 5, but the service wasn't as good as the food was. When I got there, there wasn't a line, but the young man who was standing there looked confused. I went to the bar, the seats were all taken, so I went back and told him I'll wait for a table. A woman came up, looked at the chart, and seated me right away. That young man seemed out of it. I had the 6 oz Filet Mignon cooked to perfection, baked potato (not as big as other locations), and French Onion Soup. I did have to send back the soup to be heated up. Loved the bread. Despite my small frame, I ate everything while talking with a homie on the phone. My mother would've been sitting there with her head on her hand asking me, "Where are you putting all that?" Every time she asked that, I told her, "Didn't you know I have a hollow leg?" We'd laugh and I'd keep eating long past the time I should've stopped. That's what happens when I eat good food. The server needed some help with his attention-span, and knew that soup was cold. How do they not know that? They know how long it sits back there before they forget to bring it out .. when it's hot. A dirty napkin falls from the dirty dishes. The bartender proceeds to use said used napkin to wipe down the counter, and goes to give us the menus. I asked for sanitation. Bartender brings a rag and a pan with murky water to dunk the rag in. I expected a disinfectant spray bottle and disposable wipes. Needless to say we walked out of that unsanitary place. Eat at this restaurant if you like your truck broken into. Ate lunch there today and was interrupted by my waitress asking me if any in our party had a Dodge truck. I said yes I do and she told me I should check on it outside. Me and the other gentlemen talked to the store manager (who is a managing partner, at least that's what his business card says) and asked if he would contribute to getting our windows fixed, since they don't have cameras nor any signs posted around the property that they are not responsible for damage or break-ins to vehicles.
