I just happened on the Longchamp store. A special display of bag done by Jeremy Scott were on display. I was warmly greeted by a staff member. She mentioned that there was a special exhibit on the third floor of bags done by Jeremy Scott for Longchamp. I took the elevator up. As I exhibited I was again greeted by another nice staff member. She explained the exhibit. Mr Scott's subject matter was varied from travel to monsters to art and excessive spending. Many of the bags sold like hot cakes! A great exhibition. Parking is difficult. Use a lot or ride share. read more

This store has went through renovations that to me make the store more cool and lively. The workers here were very nice and did not seem over powering in trying to sell me a bag. The way that everything is displayed in this store is clean and neat. I did not purchase anything but definitely eyeing a bag or a two. read more

What a loser company! Terrible Customer Service. You can't make this stuff up. I purchased a Le Pliage Original L Tote bag on 11/24/20925 and put it on my credit card. I realized they were shipping it to the wrong address while it was still in transit. So, I asked them to reroute it to the correct address. After several failed attempts at changing the address, I told them to cancel my order. They told me it would take up to two weeks for it to get returned to them and then another two to three weeks for the credit to be processed. In early January, the credit had still not been issued, so I inquired about the credit. They told me it would be another 5 to 14 business days. So, 14 business days later, there is still no credit to my account. At this point, I had my credit card company successfully reverse the charge. I I asked them if they were having cash flow problems or if their customer service was just really bad. Never heard back from them again. No apologies. No explanations. I can't imagine how they stay in business. read more

WORST WORST WORST COMPANY EVER. I'm genuinely shocked at how poorly Longchamp handled my situation. I ordered a bag as a gift for my mom, and when it arrived, the chain was damaged right out of the box. For a brand that prides itself on "quality," this was already disappointing. When I reached out and returned the bag, thinking they would do the right thing, I received an email saying they don't accept returns unless the product is in "new and perfect condition." How ironic -- they're refusing my return because the product they sent me was defective. When I pointed that out, they changed their story and claimed the return was "too late," even though that wasn't the issue they mentioned before. Then they added that their warehouse "inspects everything before shipping" and that their decision is final. No apology. No responsibility. No respect toward the customer. So now I'm being sent back the same damaged bag while they want to keep my money. -- no refund, no replacement, nothing. It feels like they're trying to scam customers out of their money by hiding behind vague policies instead of standing by their own quality control. The way this company treats its customers is unacceptable. The complete lack of accountability and professionalism is shocking, and judging by other reviews, I'm clearly not alone. I am extremely disturbed and disappointed by the way they handled the online return, especially considering it's coming from such a renowned brand like Longchamp. I made two separate purchases of black tote Le Pliage bags in sizes M (confirmation number N668832) and L (confirmation Number N668802 ) on their website on the same day. I decided to return the L size few days later because the M size is more suitable for my needs. I literally just opened the box and compared the two bags and decided to return never- worn bag in L size, so I put it back in the original box and shipped it back via UPS (tracking N 1Z5413E59093656035). I returned the exact same bag I purchased on the Longchamp website. UPS provided proof of delivery, but Longchamp website kept indicating that the return was still pending. I sent an email asking for confirmation of the bag's arrival, which they confirmed a few days later and stated that I will be refunded. However, I received an additional email a few days later stating that the returned bag was already worn and inauthentic, and that they would be shipping back to me with no refund. They shipped the bag via UPS extreme priority and I received it in less than 24h. The bag they sent didn't have any paper protection or the original receipt I initially sent them. Additionally, the protective plastic bag in which the bag arrived within the UPS box was damaged (the little green slider on the top of the bag was missing) If this statement is correct (" worn and inauthentic") then this only means that the Longchamp website sold me an already worn and inauthentic bag! This is an absolute disgrace for the company and a display of extreme dishonesty. You've just lost a customer. read more

I've never seen a company that claimed to be so luxurious, that turned out to be so incapable. January 2023, I bought a Pliage, and I was told that I had a two year warranty on the bag. By June 2023, the bag developed a scuff in the middle (see picture). I took the bag to this Longchamp store to get the bag repaired, the representatives said they would send the bag in, but that their warranty only covered holes to the corners of the bag. They said they would see what their repair shop would do, and that they would have it mailed back to me directly. I waited three months for this bag to come back. In September 2023, I received an email that my bag was ready for pickup. Not that it would be mailed to me, that I had to come back to this store to pick the bag up. When I picked up the bag, they had done nothing to repair it. Useless. IKEA bags are more durable than this piece of junk, and their customer service won't screw you over the way Longchamp's does. I would recommend a grocery bag from Walmart sooner than I would recommend a Pliage. read more

I own various luxury handbags, all which I have purchased through working myself. BEWARE do not both with Longchamp, they do not stand behind their products in comparison to other brands. I wore a bag 2x and it showed signs of wear. I brought it in to be repaired and was told it could not be, despite Longchamp stating repairs could be made. Was offered a 10% discount instead for a new purchase. Would 100% go for Louis Vuitton as the brand leather holds up stronger, and price point is only slightly higher. Hope this helps! read more

This company has horrible customer service. I ordered a bag online. While there was a typo in the zip code the street address and town was correct. Longchamp delivered to the zip code. Not the town that I typed in they take no responsibility. They have not assisted in retrieving the item. They insist that the address on file was correct and they did nothing wrong. Even though the receipt shows the accurate address that I typed in and they changed. I have been on hold for over 40 minutes (when told the wait time was 1 minute). I have had multiple email exchanges and they still stick to their story of the zip code being the true address. Most people can understand a typo in a number and the address one types to be a more accurate reflection of the persons intent. I am out over 160$. For them to say that they sent an item to an address that I provided when they sent it to the zip code is gaslighting. I have no idea if their products are decent and I suppose i never will. I have been an avid customer for many years and had a very unpleasant experience at the soho location. I stopped in on the coldest day of the year and there was absolutely no heat. They had heat lamps but they went out twice while I was there. The poor team was shivering and looked very uncomfortable. Not a good experience for "luxury". My review on this store is a bit of a 3 part one. I love Longchamp bags, the bags are simple and durable. They aren't terribly pricey either and are the bag du jour in NYC. The LC SoHo store is really impressive. The elaborate staircase wowed me and it was so fun to look at all of their beautiful bags. Growing up a few hours from NYC, I did a lot of window shopping and hanging out in midtown. These days I love browsing in the SoHo area since it seems less hectic. If you aren't familiar, Longchamp has limited edition bags that they sell in various cities throughout the world. NYC has one with a Statue of Liberty graphic, London has Big Ben, Paris has the Eiffel Tower and I am just naming a few! On my first day in NYC I popped in here to see what colors they had in the Statue of Liberty bag. My mom had recently been in London and pickings were slim for the Big Ben bag. I'm happy to say that the SoHo store had a good variety of colors and bags in various strap lengths. A very helpful sales lady showed me the bag options, but I wanted to think it over for a day before making a purchase. The second day I went back to pick up my bag and had a great customer service experience. I knew what I wanted so I was in and out right away. I got back to FL and my mom was loving my new bag. She wanted one, so I called the store and spoke to a very friendly sales associate. The transaction was smooth and pleasant. Shipping was free and quick! The item even came with gift packaging, which was nice since this was a Mother's Day gift. Great customer service experience all around! read more

I was ecstatic when I received a 'private sale/sample sale' invite earlier this week in my inbox. I've read a lot about the futuristic design of the Spring Street store but during my first visit to the store, I was too fixated with getting to the sample sale area asap. And my second visit wasn't any more leisurely than the first. And after spending a decent amount on sale merchandise, I didn't bother checking out any floor merchandise. The sample sale was great - and I hear they have about 1 - 2 more regular sales throughout the year. The sales people were very friendly and helpful. Le Pliage bags were very limited in style and color. They have a great selection of leather accessories at very affordable prices. If you take the time to look around there are many great deals. I go pick up the bag and its the wrong one they didn't even have my bag in stock. From the get and plus she was rude on the phone. The store is beautiful, and the sales person upstairs was far more cordial, and while I knew what I wanted he was very nice and helpful. Horrible customer service. I actually just left the store, and I'm fuming mad. I purchased a tote (the classic kind) a week ago, and needed to return it. Their receipt sas they accept returns but they do not. The sales woman basically told me the bag 'looked used' which it was not, nor did it look used. So basically she made up an excuse to not let me return it. If you're purchasing something here keep in mind they will not let you return it. I find that policy completely unnaccelptable in retail today. Just go to Bloomingdales, or buy something else. That's the last longchamp item I will ever buy! read more

Sometimes one star is too many stars. This may be one of those times. 15 days ago I purchased a nylon commuter bag for $145. $145 is way too much for a plain nylon bag, but these bags are convenient, come in a variety of pleasing colors, and I thought I was paying for somewhat better quality then cheaper nylon bags sold elsewhere. Truth be told, I may even be a bit of a bag snob, so I wouldn't buy a cheaper nylon bag, but although I may be a bag snob, there are certain things I expect to receive in exchange for over paying by $100 for my nylon bag. First and foremost is a working zipper. The first day I used my bag it was apparent it did not have a working zipper. Every time I opened the zipper the zipper head would slide off onto one side of the zipper, causing me to have to rethread it every time I wanted to close the bag. Needless to say I have only used the bag four or five times in the past 2 weeks and finally made it over to the store today to exchange it. I would have gone sooner but this was the first time in a week I was able to get out of the office for lunch. I dealt directly with the manager who was nice enough but ultimately would only accommodate me to the point of sending my existing bag out to be repaired. As the bag was defective when it was sold to me, I expected the store to exchange it and give me a new bag. I feel like this is not an unreasonable expectation for $145. The manager said she could not exchange it because I had used it and she couldn't resell it (the lining of the bag is white and my wallet is black). Why would you want to resell a bag that doesn't have a working zipper? Am I missing something here? She offered to send the bag out to be repaired (which takes 4-6 weeks). I wanted to return the bag at this point, but this too was not an option because I had used it and it was just past their 14 day return policy (by 1 day). I was visibly annoyed at this point and the manager offered to rush the repair which takes 7 days. That's something, but now I just feel like a chump for spending $145 on a poorly made bag that I can't even easily exchange. I'm not spending any more money with Longchamps, there are plenty of other stores (**wink wink Kate Spade**) that will sell me a nylon commuter bag for $145. $145 sure does buy you a lot of hassle. $145 bought me a headache. I'm disappointed in you Longchamps, because all you had to do was exchange my bag and I would have forgotten that you sold me a lemon to begin with. Instead I would have though, ' I'm so glad I was able to exchange that bag without a big hassle' and would have kept buying your $145 nylon bags. read more

It is as nice as everyone has written about. The stairs are kind of freaky or maybe its just because i have a little vertigo. My french girlfriend who loves her some Longchamp is always aware of the semi annual sale...and she clued me in on it. More than half of the items were on a nice discount, 40%-65%. The staff was incredibly friendly,helpful,even a little chatty. I don't like hovering, which they didnt do but once I was walking around with several handbags because I couldn't decide which one was coming home with me, several of the staff was very helpful.Really helpful. I spent about an hour wandering around touching all the bags and finally chose a Fierce dark purple suede large barrel bag , tres chic @ about 60% off. Definitely a nice shopping experience. Bonjour! This French upscale brand has made quite the fan base in little ol' America. I own a few Longchamp bags and am impressed with their durability. One of my babies recently had to be sent out to France for some repairs (yes, they'll do free repairs on your bags). He had been through a tumultuous few years. First, he went with me to college. Enough said. Then, when he had a few battle scars and internal tears (similar to my liver) I switched him to my gym bag. He was a fighter, that one. When I finally took him home to see if they could give him some TLC, I thought the saleslady might faint when she saw him. "We'll see what we can do." I'm hoping to get him back soon. We'll see if their repairs live up to the standard of their bags. In the meantime, he'll come home to a very tan companion, as I bought a lighter bag in the same size. read more

I've never actually considered going to Longchamp for anything in particular. Perhaps due to the fact that I see it mainly as a luxury leather goods brand geared more towards women. Which, it is. But they do carry mens accessories. This of course includes the ever popular Le Pliage bags which come in a long handled version (for the ladies) and the short handled version (for the ladies who had long handles, and the men). This was my 2nd stop whilst shopping earlier today. My first stop was at Gucci. Although I did crave for a Gucci bag, my entire day was set on going for a large black Le Pliage bag with short handle. So what was the verdict? I'm completely content with the bag. I was quite apprehensive when getting home to open it and looking at it a 2nd time. But then again, hey, it was only $135. What else can you expect out of a bag for that much. Its completely synthetic nylon aside from the handles which are made from cowhide. The bag has only one inside compartment (which is perfect to me, because of its location towards the very top of the bag, and is great to store your wallet and cell phone) and then ALL this room for... basically everything. Which is a great all-around bag. Its super spacious, and yopu can basically use it for anything in any weather (perfect for Spring and Summer) Now... my cons for the Le Pliage bag? Made In China kinda does bother me, but, hey... Philip Lim does his shit in China too. Amongst several other "up there" labels. No biggie. I mean, the construction seems fine to me. I have yet to see anything bad about it. But lets also not forget about the price tag. I wouldn't doubt Bottega Veneta or Gucci selling a bag made of the same materials for triple the amount. But then again, it would of been made in Italy, which already boosts up the price of it based on importations alone, and then the construction... probably using the... FINEST SYNTHETIC MATERIALS ON THE MARKET. Oh whoop-dee-doo. So, all in all, I'm content being a conformist whore with my Le Pliage bag. At least I can be secure to say that I'm the only MALE that I've seen thats carrying it. Makes me feel special. Now, ending this review will explain my 3 star rating. As much as I was okay with the service, it wasn't like the service I had at Gucci, and on top of that, I knocked off another star because the girl spelled my name on my receipt as "Mickael Hertbeerg." I was the only person in the store when I walked in, so I kind of felt like I was being watched excessively, but when it became obvious that I wanted to make a purchase, the salesguy was very helpful. He was honest with me - I was going to get a white Le Pliage tote bag, but when I asked how prone they are to stains, he actually told me that if I used it frequently it would start looking a bit dingy. Most places seem to try to tell you whatever you want to hear instead of risking losing a customer, so I appreciated his honesty. (I also appreciated that he was super hot.) Being a girl in this city, you couldn't ask for a better everyday bag than the Le Pilage tote. I take mine everywhere. It's spacious, durable, and compact. I can fit so much in there and I almost lose something in it everyday. I loved my tote so much I even went back to Longchamp to purchase the Le Pilage XL travel tote. I'm equally as in love with it. I unfortunately purchased those at the store in Macy's which was filled with unhelpful, seemingly annoyed staff. I popped into this location recently hoping to find a functional replacement for my Nike gym bag. I found the staff to be welcoming and helpful. This location is huge compared to the one inside Macy's and much more stylish. They sadly didn't have what I was looking for so I guess I'll have to check out Lululemon. I was planning on doing some shopping in the area and when I looked up Longchamp, was happy to see that there is a location in the area I'd be visiting. I was also glad to read that the employees were friendly and not rude, which is always a downer when you're willing to pay top dollar for some designer piece. Heck, you want to be treated well...especially if you're shelling out a lot of cash! So when I entered I saw two employees, who turned to look at me, but never greeted me and went back to talking. I walked up the fancy staircase and saw the Le Pilage bags at the back. I was standing there for about 5-10 minutes, deciding what color to buy and nobody had approached me (which isn't a bad thing...I don't want someone to hover over me, but then again I want someone to be available if I have questions). After finally deciding, I had to find someone on the floor to help me reach the bag at the top and then proceeded to pay. I was debating between two colors and was forced to get the red since they were all out of the navy blue...but the lady who rung me up did mention that there were two navy blue's at the Madison store so I decided to head down there to take a look. Overall, I didn't think my shopping experience was 4 or 5 star worthy. Wish I had a better experience, but oh well... read more

It's worth a trip just to check out the chic, futuristic architechture (I stood there admiring the staircase for about 10 minutes before I started shopping). The store has an open, airy feeling about it, which makes it so easy to shop in. All the items are displayed clearly so you don't need to search for long to find exactly what you want. All of the merchandise is top quality - the brand name speaks for itself. The staff is friendly and helpful. this space is absolutely amazing. as an architect i truly appreciate interior spaces that take you into a whole other world, especially in tiny cramped spaces like Soho or NY. this store did not disappoint (see photos). the instant you walk in, you are just intrigued by the folding stained wood panels and orange/tan tinge. to be honest, i could care less about the products on display when i walked in. granted i've never purchased or own Longchamp products, this place definitely does a great job at showcasing its products in a very simple, dignified, edgy manner. to me, it brought a slightly more trendy outlook on the brand. read more

This is a flagship store but I recommend going to the Madison Ave or Rockefeller branches for your LCs for the following two reasons. 1. Firstly, it's dark like a "romantic' restaurant with very few spotlights. I can never tell the colors of anything so I always leave empty handed. 2. Second, bc it's a flagship and located in popular Soho, they are more likely to have sold out of a popular item, even tho they suppose to have more stock of everything. read more

I liked the rather chic and elegant style of this store in NYC. But the staff didn't seem too pleased when I asked for extra paperbags since I bought 2! I had every right to ask. The Le Pliage bag is part of every working girl's wardrobe. I mean, if you look on any subway around 6PM, you'll probably find at least half of the women with some kind of Longchamp bag. I'm a fan of Longchamp because my Le Pliage bags are practically indestructible; It has carried my heavy laptop, a couple of notepads, high heels, and other crap that always makes its way into my purse. All of the bags are perfect to take on vacation (especially the beach) because they're simple to pack (they are very compact), can hold a lot, and are very sturdy. read more
