This is a great unique wedding venue. The scenery and landscape are impeccable. Our guests are still talking about the wedding a month later. JC and Mailyn did a fantastic job, everything fell into place and ran smoothly on the wedding day. They went out of their way to meet our needs, it was the coldest day of the year so far and JC came through with heat lamps. I would definitely recommend this wedding venue to anyone getting married, although the dates are getting taken rather quickly and may be booked until next year. read more

I had my wedding here in December 2016 and it was great! I am a very organized-oriented individual and they were top notch. JC was always there every step of the way when I had a question. Everyone was very friendly. I loved their wedding packet, which helped everything run smoothly and organized. The food selection and the food portions were great for the price. The venue includes food, the dj and the flower decorations for the reception. Also included are the table cloths, napkins, plates, silverware, cake, cake stand. You are responsible for any other decor, your favors, the decoration and flowers in the ceremony itself and the liquor. read more

Where do I even begin? Longans place is Miami's best kept secret for an intimate, magical, outdoor wedding. My wife and I were married there on 1/18/19 and we couldnt have dreamed of a better place. Aside from the grounds being so beautiful and picturesque , complete with a gorgeous waterfall, the staff are in a class of their own. JC, the owner, is friendly, accommodating, understanding, warm and personable. He did everything possible to make sure our wedding was perfect. He worked with all of our vendors to make the magic happen. Mailyn, our wedding coordinator, really knows what she's doing. Very friendly and kept everything going smoothly. The food.....wow...the FOOOOOOOD! JC should open a restaurant with the quality of the food there! We coudlnt decide what to go for when we did our tasting because it was all so good! My Granddaughters wedding was here Dec. 2, 2017. I had a major amount of contact with the venue as she and her fiancé are living in Utah. I have never been so happy with any event anywhere as I was here while the preparation for this wedding was taking place. Completely organized, totally reliable, willing to help in any way possible and do whatever it takes to make you comfortable and at ease. On June 23, 2012 I had the pleasure of celebrating my Father's Birthday at this exquisite venue. The pictures truly do not give justice to how great this venue really is. A very large facility where we were able to accommodate our family and friends. The owner Julio is beyond hospitable. I could not have asked for a better host. The bar area was a big hit during the party. It is a very private and secluded venue with lots of parking and beautiful landscaping. Julio truly went out of his way to make our event a success. I can honestly say this is the best venue in Miami for those looking to break away from the cookie cutter banquet halls, especially if you are on a budget. I highly recommend this space. Longan's Place was a godsend for us. We spent months looking for a venue that would allow us to have an outdoor cocktail area, indoor dinner and most importantly, be affordable! After looking forever, we stumbled upon Longan's Place on craigslist, of all places. We called Julio (who answered right away and was SO accommodating to our schedules) and scheduled an appointment to see it that weekend. It was BEAUTIFUL. The indoor hall is really pretty and neutral (meaning you can make it whatever you want it to be, as the pictures on their websites show), but the gorgeous grounds were what really sold us. It's a wide open area with a great tiki hut and waterfall, so our guests had space to ramble around and not feel closed in. This turned out to be a blessing during our reception, as the guests who weren't interested in dancing could go out into the peaceful night air and relax in the beautiful glow of the waterfall, fountain and tiki hut lights. Everyone raved about the beautiful venue and how amazing the night turned out. We couldn't be more pleased with our wedding day and we can't thank Julio and Freya enough for their services. Speaking of, we booked a package with them, including linens, centerpieces, DJ, food & cake. Freya was our coordinator and she did an incredible job. Not only was she immediately on top of everything and anything that I requested of her, but she went above and beyond what I was expecting on pretty much every level. Seriously, she blew us all away. Friendly, accommodating and super talented, she will MAKE SURE your event is amazing. The food was delicious, the cake was super cute, our DJ, Luis kept our guests on the dance floor all night. And again, because I know this is probably one of the most important points for anyone planning a wedding: they are crazy affordable! This place does weddings, and it does them perfectly. They were extremely helpful and responsive throughout our planning process. The venue is stunning and JC, Ari, and the rest for the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and professional. Our guests were raving about the beautiful venue and decor and said the food was amazing. From the beginning we were amazed by this venue. My fiance and I visited so many other places from hotels, to banquet halls. But when we walk into this location, it was like paradise. Everything from the drive way, to the ceremony area, to the 2 tiki huts, the place was perfect. The owner JC was always calm and a pro at what he does. The day of, his staff was nice and on top of there game. We had a evening wedding and the place lights up beautiful at night. I've been here twice for two weddings and the place is gorgeous! The service is great and the transition for ceremony, to cocktail hour, to the reception and to the "party house" was very easy as a guest. Longan's Place is absolutely amazing! It was just the elegant/rustic outdoors feel we were going for. The waterfall and LOVE sign were a hit not just for our wedding pictures but for our guests as well whom enjoyed taking pictures with the beautiful layout at Longan's. We were living abroad while planning the wedding but JC was very helpful and made everything very easy. Longan's Place takes care of setting up basically everything from the food to the DJ which means less stress for you. Even when I did arrive and get together with JC just two days before the wedding, he was extremely accommodating and allowed changes up to that moment. The day of we were pleasantly surprised by how beautiful everything looked and by how professional the entire event was. From Mailyn, our MC/coordinator for the day, to the cocktails, valet parking, cake cutting, toast, dancing etc, everything was executed flawlessly.
