Gloria the event manager is a dream to work with, her attention to detail and due diligence to responded to the customers questions and/or concerns was crucial in planning our event. The day of event, everything went smoothly. The venue was beautifully decorated and was everything my daughter envisioned to go with her Tangled look. The staff, MC, and DJ were excellent. Although we had a nice time as an end result the experience was not great. The coordinator and owner told me two completely different things Owner was quite rude. And to top it off when they cut the cake the pieces were so tiny there was no way there weren't any leftovers. They also scraped the frosting and fondant from the cake. I don't even know where to begin... This place exceeded all of my expectations. They made my engagement party a dream. It was the most perfect evening filled with excellent food, excellent music, and excellent service. We decided to do our party here after meeting with Maggie Zafra, one of the sales reps of studio 305. All I can say is that she was AMAZING. She was on top of every single detail from day one. She made sure our day was nothing less than perfect. She captured every single idea we had in order to make our dreams come true. She was the best event planner I have ever known. Freya the owner also went above and beyond to pull everything together on the day of. She wanted everything to be perfect. She made our beautiful balloon garland exactly how we pictured it and she even decorated with a few extras to really bring out the Havana Nights theme. The next thing was the food. We decided to have Arroz Congris with Mojo Chicken and Platanitos Maduros. The combination was delicious. The chicken had an amazing flavor, was juicy, and they topped it off with grilled onions which enriched it even more. We also had a charcuterie table that all the guests enjoyed with their drinks. Lastly, the desserts and CAKE were all phenomenal. The cake was moist with rum and the frosting was to die for. The desserts were all amazing. From the tres leches to the flan, to the cake pops and macaroons, they were all delicious. The DJ played amazing music. He knew how to mix in every genre we chose and everyone was dancing from the minute they walked in to the minute they left. The bartender and the waiters were all super nice and you can tell they really cared to help out and make sure everyone was taken care of. This place is truly one of a kind. We just had my daughter"s baby shower at Studio 305. We would normally have had it at our home, but there's a new development going up across the street and we're pretty much IN a construction zone. I mention this because I'm a bit of a control freak and typically handle all the party planning. That being said, I was more than happy to let someone else handle everything for us. The size of the venue is perfect for small events and the outdoor area is a plus. While a bit more expensive than other places that I looked at, that included an open bar, I felt more comfortable with releasing control to Freya than any of the other venues. Plus, I liked the size and the "look" of the hall as well. Not your typical banquet hall. Both Freya & Gloria were easy to deal with and responded promptly to my questions and/or concerns. I walked in to the venue on the day of the event and it looked exactly how I had invisioned. My daughter and her husband were super happy as well. Everything looked absolutely beautiful. The food was delicious and the service staff was friendly. The cake was also delicious. One thing to note that while the cake is included, it only includes a plain white cake with 5 buttercream flowers. I mention this so you can be aware and budget for any additional enhancements you may want. I paid $60 extra for our cake and provided the flowers for the top. We had several guests that confirmed and did not show up. This always irks me because we paid for a certain number of people. The staff proactively packed up the leftovers for us, and we feasted on that the next day. I highly recommend Studio 305 and will not hesitate in hosting other events there in the future. This control freak really liked not having to set up and especially not having to CLEAN UP! Until next time! read more

Wow, this place is so easy to work with to plan a 50th Birthday Party for my wife. Maggie answered the phone on the first call. She answered my basic questions and verified that we could do what I wanted with my budget in 10 minutes! Pictures don't do the place justice. The owner and party planners really do look out for every detail. They have 4 different event areas with a different feel so that there is something for everyone. The outdoor patio is a perk I didn't see anywhere else and there is NO EXTRA CHARGE! All the other halls were that, long rectangular hallways that make it impossible to be social or square boxes. Wish I could give zero stars since I did not host my event at this location. The very first thing I did when I looked into this venue was ask if my date was available. They said yes, sent me materials, went back and forth on questions I had, set a date for me to come in and then the day before my appointment told me they had booked my date two weeks ago. They have horrible customer service, take forever to return an email and so when I called to follow up they tell "Oh but someone came in two weeks ago and paid for that date" great then WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME!! Typical Miami service. I'm just trying to help my mom with her retirement party and I have to deal with so many unprofessional people. I'm an event planner by profession and I warn you to STAY AWAY! Venue are a dime a dozen here in Miami, go find yourself someone worth your time and money. If they can't get a simple thing right from the beginning, Imagine how horrible the rest of you experience will be To address the comment below: lots of venues hold your date for a short period of time but YOUR venue has staff who don't email people back and if the date is taken, don't take the time to tell you it's been booked. So once agin waists your time by setting meetings for days not available. Maybe instead of writing excuses on a review, you should work on educating your staff so they can be more professional and provide better service. read more

We really had a great time at the reception hall for my cousins baby shower. The MC was great and the location was very well put together and clean. One thing is I wish there was someone on top of the bathroom garbage situation since that got full really quick and I took one for the team since it was my cousins baby Shower and stuffed the garbage back in that was over flowing with my foot, gross but whatever I didn't want other guest to see this. My mom looked into this place for my baby shower as she didn't want to deal with actually having to do anything since she planned my gender reveal. I'll tell you right now that this place was soooo worth it! We booked our date and paid monthly, the total balance had to be paid off 2 weeks prior to the event date so that worked well. We spoke to Freya about decorations but were iffy on what we could do and so she gave us ideas and we pretty much left it up to her. We were not disappointed at all! Every table had a different Centerpiece that matched perfectly with the theme. Lighting under the table and everywhere around the banquet was awesome. The food was great and the DJ was as well. Bar service was awesome and very friendly. But I have to say my favorite part were the games. When it came to game time the owner (didn't catch his name) help us pick what games to play. He was extremely funny and witty and gave our guests no choice but to participate!! He was extremely enjoyable and the whole room was full of laughter. We played games I never even heard of and I was extremely happy with how my baby shower turned out. If you're looking for a fun/professional place for a baby shower, this is definitely it! Initially, my family and I had planned to have our shower at my parents home but my father last minute felt it was too many people for a home. I called the venue and asked Freya if I can go take a look at her venue. She was so pleasant and transparent. She made it a point to make me feel at ease due to the fact that I explained to her that I just wasn't a fan of doing my events at a hall. She explained how I can make it my own without having to do all the work. It was by far the best experience! I had an event at this place. However, my experience with this business hasn't been what I was looking for. They are pretty affordable for the most part but I felt that it was more their vision for my event than my vision. I wanted the setup a bit more different but they keep insisting on a different setup. I was told I would see how the guest table would look the day of the event. However, upon my arrival, there was nothing setup and I was told that I for my event they don't do that. It's fair to see something before you buy it. Not bad but not great either! read more
