A wonderful venue for any occasion, in my humble opinion. We were in a clear sided tent which was well illuminated and the air conditioning did not disappoint. The management has contacts for event management, music, food, decor, etc. I do not know if the family brought in their own music and catering or used the venue's, but both were very good. Highly recommend!

Joe is good to work with. But more importantly you need a great planner. Ours was Jessica G. Events. Was very disappointed in a few of their vendors, I'm posting here because they were recommended by the venue and don't have their own yelp page. Belkis floral- beautiful flowers but forgot the tall floral at the alter and the petals. Forgot we didn't want boutonnières. Very aloof when inquired after the wedding. Sagno catering: The apps were not like we had the tasting. The bruschetta was a tiny bit of tomato topping. Looked very sparse, the dates and walnuts were tiny, only saw the coconut shrimp once in the passed apps. The steak on the main course of the plated dinner was very small nothing like the tasting we had at secret gardens. Chicken Alfredo tortilini was not plated as we tasted. Everything was smaller portioned than our tasting. We did not go with Sagno for the cake since I did not like their cake. We ordered tiramisu, the tiramisu was not made with marscapone instead cream cheese, obviously cheaper and not the right taste. The Miami events- awesome all the way around! The violinist was amazing, the dance floor beautiful and great DJ. Drinks by us- great to work with but only around 8 bottles that were average brands. For a full open bar not sure it would be enough for a lager crowd. There are a lot of additional costs to the all inclusive price. I did feel a little nickeled and dimed about the early access for the brides room. 765.00 to get in the room 7:30 instead of 10. The room is empty and I thought that to be a pricey add on. Beware there is construction on the grounds and the bride and grooms rooms need some updating. All in all the wedding was amazing and like the backdrop of Secret Gardens.

The landscapes were beautiful but we were excited about the animals too. The gardens close at 5:30 pm but they take the animals (donkeys, cow, goats and pig) away at 4 pm, which we didn't know. So they were being put away as we got there. The playground is nice, although not very big, my girls enjoyed it. The water park closes earlier than the rest of the gardens too. Overall a lot of the "experiences" seemed to be closed on the Sunday we visited. Not sure it was worth the drive.

It's hard to summarize all the amazing aspects of this venue. The grounds and Mansion are gorgeous and transport you away from the hectic hustle and bustle of Miami. It is truly a special place with rich history.  The mansion has multiple beautiful locations, for ceremonies, receptions, and photographs. We had our ceremony in the grove at sunset, and it looked absolutely magical with the bistro lights hung in the trees. Our reception was in the courtyard, which is gorgeous in its own right, and with it fully decorated it felt more like we were in the Mediterranean compared to Miami.  The Mansion crew is amazing!! Sherry and Javi are the BEST!!! We had the wedding of our dreams, which would not have been the same with out this location or Sherry and Javi's help. The pair were so easy to work with, maintained flexible schedules for visits to show off our venue to visiting family and friends, and exuded with passion for the Mansion. The crew so clearly cares deeply about the mansion and its history, you can't help but fall in love with it as well right alongside them. They wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams and worked hard to make sure all the details were in place to make it happen. We always felt like a priority to them and were treated with utmost respect. As a same-love couple, it's not always easy to feel comfortable searching for wedding venues. Sherry and the Mansion crew's support meant the world to us and made us feel safe and celebrated. The closed vendor list at the Mansion was very helpful in making sure we found high-quality vendors for our wedding. It saved us a lot of time searching and vetting. This place is truly a hidden gem. We recommend this venue without reservation to anyone looking for a magical, historic setting for their wedding or special event.

I originally planned to have my wedding at the Curtis Mansion, but after experiencing multiple…read morelosses in my family, my husband and I decided to elope. The venue meant so much to me that I still wanted to incorporate it into our wedding photographs and preserve a piece of the dream I had originally envisioned. Unfortunately, I left in tears, feeling humiliated and disrespected by an employee named Debbie. I had communicated with Debbie beforehand through phone calls and messages about our elopement, our outfit changes, and the vehicle we planned to use for photographs. Yet, from the moment we arrived, after knocking for approximately 10 minutes, I was met with attitude, eye rolls, and judgment. She questioned why I wasn't ready, despite our previous conversations about changing at the venue. I was standing there with my wedding bouquet, and she even asked whether I was getting married, despite my having explained our plans multiple times beforehand. As a client, I expected the person handling our booking to be familiar with the arrangements we had discussed. I shared something deeply personal with her about losing both my parents and my beloved dog, who I had imagined walking me down the aisle at this very venue. Her dismissive reactions made me feel as though my grief and the significance of the day were an inconvenience. When my photographer asked whether she could hang my wedding dress for flat-lay photographs, Debbie appeared annoyed. Although she eventually permitted it, she then physically removed my dress and placed it on a table. Even these small details became stressful when they should have been part of a beautiful experience. Things escalated when our rental car arrived earlier than scheduled, without my knowledge. Despite having discussed the vehicle beforehand, Debbie called me a liar multiple times in front of my husband and photographer. When I do have documentation that I did tell her there was a car going to be present. I spent nearly an hour of our reserved photography time trying to resolve the situation. And every time I would leave, Debbie would complain about me to my Photographer making my Photographer extremely uncomfortable. We were also locked outside and left knocking for approximately 15 minutes before our photographer had to find another entrance to let us back in. From outside, I could see Debbie on her phone, knowing we were knocking and ringing doorbell. Throughout the session, she would be unavailable when we needed assistance but would reappear to confront me. For a 4 hour shoot included Mansion staff, which I'm assuming that was her , it was CLEAR that she didn't wanna be there. Throughout the experience, I felt as though we were walking on eggshells. With the last hour of my shoot I was in my wedding dress Debbie again yelled me again and pointed her finger at me and kept bringing up the car situation when it was resolved an hour before. I had to ask her if she can yell at me after photographs because I didn't want to lose any more of our limited time. She responded that I was "wasting her time!!" I work in the bridal industry, where I understand how important it is to make couples feel welcomed and supported during such meaningful moments. I would never want another bride to experience the humiliation and distress I experienced that day. She didn't even see us out when we left. I tried to reach out to the original people that I spoke to when I was going to book my wedding at the venue and had a good experience with but it was a very disappointing response! The mansion itself is beautiful, but unfortunately, the way I was treated overshadowed what should have been a special memory for my husband and me. NO BRIDE should leave her wedding photo shoot in tears because of how she was treated. These photographs were meant to preserve a beautiful chapter of our love story, and it breaks my heart that this experience will always be part of that memory.

Maxine, the event coordinator was excellent, she had the disposition to help me from the get go and she is full of ideas. I have to admit that I was a bridezilla the 1st meeting, but she never stop smiling. We rented the middle ballroom (they have 3) as we had a small wedding of less that 100 guests. The rental included the tables, the chairs and the dance floor!!! you can't get any better than that. For additional fee we had plants to fill out the room and we had lighting, everything was super affordable. Maxine is full of ideas and her staff is ready to serve. I was able to visit the venue as many times as needed (with the DJ, with the photographer, with my fiance, etc.) they were always ready to accommodate us. The set up was ready the day before (as they did not have other events in that ballroom) and we where able to start the arrangements 1st thing in the morning, which was awesome. Our wedding was the only programmed event for the day (and I do believe that is always like that) so, the DJ didn't have to battle with other music; and we didn't have to worry about other people. We started set up at 10:00 am, wedding was at 4:00 in the green area in front of the ballrooms, cocktail hour was in the lobby of the ballrooms and the reception went on until 10:00, everyone loved the place, is modern and well taken care of. I would recommend anyone to have their special event here.

When my sisters and I found out back in '25 that our niece would be getting married here on June…read more27, '26, there was no question- we aunties were all in for a destination wedding. The excitement started wayyy before we packed our bags, but once I saw the venue my niece had chosen, I totally understood why. She and her husband live in Miami, so it seemed only right that they chose such a beautiful South Florida location. The moment we came to Vignette Gardens, we were speechless. The palm trees were all over the property, giving that lush greenery feel that instantly made the venue feel like an oasis. Every shaded corner seemed like a secret hideaway and picture-perfect backdrop. This is one of those places where nature did most of the talking. The wedding ceremony was beautifully arranged on the lawn, where rows of chairs faced a gorgeous floral arch under the palm trees. My niece's wedding was intimate and romantic that blended perfectly with the landscape. After the ceremony, guests made their way under the spacious reception tent. Honestly, that was the best place to be once that South Florida sun and humidity settled in. The tent offered tons of shade, a cool breeze from the fans and a comfortable space where everyone could relax while also celebrate and dance the night away without battling the sweltering heat. I honestly don't know every detail my niece selected for her wedding, but I do know one thing- her village showed up. Us four aunties, along with her mom (our oldest sister- yes, we're 5 sisters) were all hands on deck, each with our own assignment. Our oldest sister (her mom) took charge of putting together the centerpieces and other touches. My other two sisters were responsible for the seating display, inspired by a cool TikTok idea. They arranged an assortment of drinking glasses, each labeled with a guest's name and the corresponding table number. It wasn't just functional- it became part of the décor AND a keepsake. My twin sister worked on the ceremony arch, decorating it with lush florals and a flowing cream-colored fabric that gave the display a soft, organic, romantic feel. And I took charge of the welcome sign. I went to Lowe's and had a 20"x40" wooden board cut to size, then ordered a custom stencil with their names+ wedding date+etc from Etsy. Around the border, I placed faux greenery as a base before weaving in fresh flowers to give it that natural, organic touch. One thing that totally impressed me just as much as the venue itself was the awesome staff here. Every employee knew exactly what needed to be done and when to do it. But there was one woman- probably a manager(?) who truly stood out. She took charge with making sure every detail of my niece's and her husband's wedding came out smooth. She also made sure the entire team stayed on the same page. They worked like a well-oiled machine, as I always like to say. Everyone was in sync, and every transition happened like butter smooth. That's exactly what you hope for when choosing a wedding venue. After seeing it firsthand, I seriously believe Vignette Gardens could host just about any celebration- from anniversaries to birthdays, family reunions, baby showers or milestone events- just ask though. If you're looking for a venue that's both naturally beautiful and well-managed, Vignette G. is worth reaching out to inquire about what they offer.
