The other day I was lucky enough to attend a nice wedding at Hacienda Los Robles. I don't always say "lucky to be going to a wedding", but it turns out this one was going to be one to behold. It was a bit of a drive out the location. When I got there though they had complimentary valet. There was a nice spot in the front of the ranch-like compound as we mingled waiting for the ceremony to begin. When the signal was given we walked into the orchard where the seats were. The orchard was transcendent. I use such a big for it, as you couldn't tell where and when you were when within it. It gave the ceremony a timeless feeling. The spot among the trees felt unique and romantic. There was an adjoining open area where a 2 piece string group were able to play music for the event. The ceremony went great, and we retired to the rear of the estate where things were even more grand. A beautiful layout of dining tables surrounded a temporary dance floor that was laid out on the grass. It was along side a beautiful water fountain. There was a back porch area of the main house where people enjoyed a drink. But where ever you wandered around the property, it had a sense of tranquility. All in all it was one of the nicest wedding facilities I have seen. It is worth recommending if someone asks me about a wedding and reception place.

One word... Extraordinary. Wow! So much to share and so many…read morethings that are unique to this establishment. First, the exterior is gorgeous. Beautiful almost white pea sized gravel and gorgeous plants and plantings everywhere (in&out). There's a false front (western style of the 1800's with a drugstore front on the left and a mercantile on the right, done in galvanized metal. Then you walk in and find yourself in a tremendous space offering a corridor of potted gardens leading you along to three spaces, one on the right for dining suited with picnic tables sporting tablecloths, enough seating for 85+. There's also a smoothie bar featuring blender drinks and nonalcoholic beers. At the center of this space, straight ahead is a mechanical bull upon a platform, with inflated walls and floor. There's someone to run that. There's another 2 areas to the left with several round tables for 20-40 others. Then there's the stuff for kids and more kids. Every kind of game for 2-12 yo kids, from little Jenga blocks, small & big trucks & excavators, playgrounds lg and sm, just all kinds of stuff everywhere, along with little picnic tables and small tables & chairs. Finally, at the back of the property are the animals. By the way the food is fantastic and not expensive and there's a menu for dogs too! Almost forgot, pups are welcome. Just 50' off of Krome Avenue immediately after 208th St. Check the hours first.

Roids was such a great place to visit South of Miami. I really didn't know what I was expecting…read morewhen walking in and had such a great surprise. From the moment you walk through the threshold the staff was very very friendly and so helpful. They were very willing to explain the idea of the place. I loved that they had such a great Green Nursery vibe, they do sell the plants, delicious food for sale and they have animals to go View and hang out with in the back. I got the pleasure of having a passion fruit and mango smoothie reminded me of one I had in Thailand which is a big deal cuz I have yet to have found something similar. I got my breakfast and Cuban food craving fix taking care of there. The coffee both hot and ice were absolutely delicious and satisfying. The only thing I can say is when you drive in parking seems to be very bleak. But there's plenty of parking behind in a parking lot. Overall I would give this please a 5 out of 5 stars everything from Food Service ambiance and the plants were absolutely stunning. Next time I go visit Miami that will definitely have to be a trip on my agenda.

Fun for kids and surprisingly enjoyable for adults too…read more We ended up at Pinto's Farm somewhat by accident while in the area, and we were glad we did. It's clearly geared toward kids, but we still had a good time as adults. We were able to pet the goats and sheep and talk with one of the staff members, who was friendly, patient, and happy to answer our questions. It made the visit feel welcoming rather than just a quick walk-through. There are a few growing pains, it seems. Some areas could use clearer signage, and the place felt a bit understaffed at times but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, it's a worthwhile visit. Adults will enjoy it, and kids will almost certainly love it.

Designed to accommodate 2 passengers, leisurely float down the tropical inlet of a man-made river. Riders can enjoy unlimited paddling trips and it's a nice way to appreciate nature, surrounded by colorfully green waters and palm trees. Next area of the farm to check out is the Petting Zoo. Quickly grab the attentions of goats and sheep by purchasing a small bucket of hay for $5. The animals are not shy and they have endless appetites. Pinto's Farm also has a race track, pony and tractor rides. The Brewery House offers food and refreshments and Pinto's Ice Cream Truck sells handcrafted milkshakes. General admission is $20 per person on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. Overall, Pinto's Farm is a pleasant way to spend a few quality hours within the suburban community of Miami, FL.
