The space at this estate and the grounds are beautiful and the upkeep is impeccable. I had never been here before but it is definitely picture worthy. I also hear it's a popular spot for weddings and all kind of events. You have to preregister and pay a $5 fee to attend Sunday classes. Class is about an hour and although outdoors still in a covered space. Bring your mats and water to stay hydrated. The outdoor space has a lovely view with the bay next to you. The nice breeze helps with this Miami weather. The instructor is super nice. Whether your an expert or a beginner (like me) she goes around and helps to make sure your posture and positioning is correct so that you don't hurt yourself. Her voice also makes the whole experience soothing. After just one class I'm hooked. It's the perfect way to end the weekend and have a happy Sunday funday. Join me!

I am sure he would I'll take great care of you and he knows what he is doing with 28+ years of experience as well. From what I can tell they have various office spaces available at this VentureX dedicated and shared which is great and very affordable if you don't need a dedicated secure office for your line of work. They have conference rooms and a very cozy shared lounge area that works great if you are visiting with clients and discussing possible business opportunities or internal business meetings. There is also a coffee station, vending machines and microwave station available in the kitchen if you would like some coffee for yourself and your customers. As a customer, Phillip and I have had some nice conversations over a free cup of coffee or a hot latte which is always great. Internet seems to be great in the facility as well, which is a hard requirement nowadays for day to day work activities. Overall, the owners are really doing a great job at this VentureX workspace facility. Hey, I like it so much I may want to open one of these businesses as well! I love the concept! My wife and I used South Florida Events for our wedding, and the buffet style food was excellent,…read morehowever, we do not recommend the catering service for a wedding for a few reasons. When we initially met with the caterer 7 months before our wedding, we had told them that we estimated 130 guests, but it would probably be less. They told us that wouldn't be an issue and to let them know a month out a final guest count. However, a month out from our wedding, they were trying to charge us for a full 130 when we had told them that our guest count was 105 (including the bride & groom). Our wedding planner was able to convince them to charge us for only 115 people, so we ended up inviting another 4 guests since we were paying for the food. So we had 109 guests and were paying for 115. We couldn't believe it and were completely disappointed to later find out that some of the food ran out, specifically the mahi mahi entree, when we had paid for 6 more people than we ended up having in attendance. Those who did not get to eat mahi were given more of the appetizers to compensate. Per our contract we had understood that we paid for more than the amount of actual guests and we can't understand why a main entree had run out before two full tables had been served. The caterer was not only late to the venue for initial set up, but was also very late to serve the food, after it had been blessed and a thank you speech from the father of the bride, to let our guests eat. This lead to many of our guests questioning both my wife and myself when we would actually have dinner. The food was good, but due to the service, we would not recommend this company for your catering needs ever.

Our guests (around 70) were truly impressed with all of the food, and there was more than enough for everyone. We had cocktail hour with a cheese platter with fruit, and a crudités platter with fresh vegetables. For the main course, we had chicken Marsala, eggplant parmigiana, baked ziti, and for our youngest guests, buttered bow tie noodles. Although, I saw those on most of the adult plates too. We also had a carved turkey breast with cranberry relish, and some really great breads. They also provided the birthday cake which was so moist and delicious that our guests thought it had to have been from a regular bakery. Every step was handled with professionalism and a friendly smile. Even when I thought we were going to have too many people for the room, they figured out how to make it work, and it did.

Cauley Square Historic village in Miami, Florida Cauley Square Historic Village, often shortened to Cauley Square, is a former railway town located in Goulds, Florida, in the United States. Originally built in 1903 by William H. Cauley, it was declared a historic site by Miami-Dade County in 1994. Quick Facts Established, Location ... History In 1903, the Florida East Coast Railway, created by Henry Flagler, reached the town of Goulds, Florida. William H. Cauley owned 10 acres (4.0 ha) of land in the area; he built Cauley Square in the same year in an attempt to expand the population of Goulds. The buildings were then used to house Flagler's railway employees, as the railways that they worked on passed through the town. Cauley used the village as a shipping hub for his tomatoes, sending them north along the railway when winter came. In 1926, Cauley Square was abandoned due to the effects of the Great Miami Hurricane. It remained vacant for over 20 years and the buildings were condemned for demolition. In 1949, Mary Anne Ballard bought the property and restored it. In 1992, when Hurricane Andrew hit Florida, Cauley Square sustained over $1 million worth of damage. The storm heavily damaged most of the shops as well as resulted in the demolition of the majority of the main building's second floor; however, it was repaired. Miami-Dade County declared Cauley Square a historic site in 1994. Following Ballard's death in 1998, the property was passed down to her family, who then sold it to Honduran native Frances Varela in 2001. In 2005, Cauley Square was hit by both Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Wilma, but was restored.

The first bar we tried didn't work out (long story) and my husband mentioned having seen an interesting bar next to Pisco y Nazca where we had been a few times. So off we went. It was around 9:00 pm, and there was only like one other couple there. My understanding is it's more of a club vibe later so that's prob why. It is all outdoors with a bar across the back. It looked nice and was decorated for Christmas. We chose to stand at the bar instead of sitting at a table which seemed to have service. We ended up ordering a cocktail each (amaretto sour and mojito). There weren't any prices on the menu (except for the specialty cocktails which they were out of). Our total for the two drinks came to $42! So I paused and asked if the tip had already been added, and the bartender sort of mumbled something about "no", so I asked if the drinks were actually $20 each. (I mean, we're in Kendall, not South Beach!) So then he showed me the receipt that showed the drinks were $16.50 each and an auto grat of 20%+ had already been added. I did not add an additional tip on top of that. But the experience was in line with some of what I read here (afterwards) of them being a little scammy financially. I'd give it 1 star but the drinks were fine and I could see the vibe being fun once more people showed up.
