Cotton candy ice cream (one scoop in a cup)
    Hannah R.

I must say, it is VERY difficult to find good, real banana ice cream. And this place has it! I was able to purchase an entire half gallon of it to take home with me. They have so many flavor options which is fantastic for a person who likes flavors that are hard to find! I am currently eating their cotton candy flavored ice cream and it is the best cotton candy ice cream that I have ever had in my entire life! Outstanding! I almost walked back inside just to tell them but thought the compliment would do better on here! Their shop is also adorable and gives me the warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia, even though I have never been there before. It also smells amazing! Thank you to the lovely staff at Longacres, for the delicious ice cream and the warm inviting atmosphere! :)

Chocolate ice cream and vanilla peanut butter ice cream

So during my weekend trip to Pennsylvania my cousin mentioned this ice cream spot to me, she said it was pretty good so we decided to take a drive just before they closed at nine for some ice cream and we were second on line with no one behind us. When we got to the cashier to place our order and looked behind us the line was extremely long and that's always a good indication that any eating spot is good. I do recommend this place and I would be returning when I'm in town. I got the vanilla and peanut butter ice cream which was good but my favorite was the cherry garden for sure. So if you're in Pennsylvania definitely give this place a try.

Service is a sweet as the ice cream! What a nice treat to come across this ice cream shot. So many flavors! I had to make a quick decision! Quick service. I enjoyed my scoop of heaven while sitting on a bench. 5 stars !

Hands down the best Ice Cream in PA. Made with local milk this stop is a great place to stop for a quick treat. Try the chocolate peanut butter you won't be disappointed.

    Garbage ??? I think not

If you ever heard of a "soda fountain" from the 1950s or just want to get some legit home made home grown ice cream products this is your place. Middle of nowhere PA and they have both traditional scoop ice cream and soft serve and not like DQ with the 3 standard flava they are making season changes like apple strudel that I got today. The shop has plenty of other snacks and drinks, seating for plenty and a clean rest room. The place literally screams "'Merica"

They really should have put the ice cream in a plastic container.

So I googled other farms with a big corn maze and Wilcox came up. I called the number and they said you can come whenever you didn't need to have tickets ahead of time, Yay! It was a good drive like about 45 minutes to an hour away. They have a smaller maze for kids and a bigger one for adults. They had someone explaining how the big maze worked before you went in. It is 25 acres and 8 miles long altogether. It is divided up into 3 different mazes in 1. We really enjoyed it, it took us about an hour and half to get through all the sections of the maze. They all have different number stations you're supposed to check off throughout the maze. The one even has a murder mystery game where you check off different characters at each station, that was really fun. The price was reasonable too , $8 for the maze. We went to the market afterwards. It was kind of small they didn't have too much there. I got a cider but they were out of the gallons, but I got a quart. Luckily I didn't buy a gallon, it wasn't one of the best ciders I have had, it was a little watery. I also bought some solar lights for my yard which were only $4 each. My husband hates when I buy them and he has to fix them though. We had a fun day , and we would return to this maze sometime !

This is a somewhat ramshackle road market surrounded by corn fields in the middle of nowhere. It was also loads of fun! First, they have in the fall two corn mazes ' the 'big maze' which is 8 miles long and in a different pattern each year, and the 'little maze', shorter and meant for Young 'Uns. There's also a play area with swings, slides and stacked tractor tires to climb on. Our older Young 'Un wanted to go on the big maze but agreed to take the younger through the smaller maze. There is also a pneumatic Corn Cannon, where you shoot ears of dried corn at targets. This was a monster hit. The produce stand at this time of year had a healthy selection of pumpkins, some really beautiful squash and gourds. Also dried multi-color corn bundles and dried bundled corn stalks for decorating with. Lastly, they still had some beautiful produce, honestly the prettiest bell peppers I think I've ever seen and some zucchini in the "Ron Jeremy" size. Inside the "stand" there is both a very good (REAL) ice cream parlor, which served ice cream in pretty traditional and delicious flavors. Vanilla, chocolate, fudge ripple, coffee, peanut butter cup, moose trails, etc. Very good quality, creamy and rich. Then they have an area that you could at best call an indoor "treasure" hunt - lots of mixed items sold by various people (the tag tells them whose piece something is) laid out on tables. It's like a giant unmanned swap meet. You can find everything from VCR tapes (New! Sealed!) to mugs to a vintage meat grinder and everything in between. SCFG and I had a blast digging through the tables and boxes, finding cool treasures - my favorite was the Holy Family ornament that looked kinda like what it might be if the Planet of the Apes had a Holy Family. I will have to take a picture of this to show it. The staff is very unobtrusive and friendly, even at the end of a long day full of Little Dears who drive people nuts. The prices for everything were reasonable and the boys had a great time running around the maze, climbing, shooting corn, digging for treasure and eating ice cream. We'll be back.

There is a section of couches made from the tail section of Coupe de Villes. The couches face a wall on wihch there is a screen playing scenes from the 1950s. My partner remarked how perfect these couches are for a date night. Their selection of ice creams is vast and varied. I tried the Chocolate Amaretto Cherry and the Milky Way which were new flavors. Both were delicious. I ended up getting a dish with one scoop of each. My partner had a sundae which she enjoyed. We sat outside. There are several round picnic tables (about 10), 1 regular picnic table, and a few rocking chairs. Ther are also games to keep the children amused. Both of us enjoyed the ice cream. It is made with pure cream and is very silky. The portion sizes are generous. Everyone behind the counter was very friendly. When my partner went back inside for more toppings for her sundae, they gladly accommodated the request.
