Amazing! So many flavor choices ! Also pre packed pints and quarts. They had local fresh sodas - birch beer was perfect! Sizes were physically shown so you ordered properly. Places to sit inside. The line looks really long, but it honestly moves fast. Delicious!! must stop! read more

Best milk and ice cream around. I drive 20 miles one way each week to buy my milk here. Always fresh and taste great. And they have great customer service. read more

This is easily some of the best ice cream I've ever had !!! I got the peanut butter ribbon. It was packed with pb and so creamy. The butter brittle was amazing, never had anything like it. The other cool part was, we ate outside and it was hot. The ice cream barely melted not like the fake stuff. Also how cool is it you can see the cows were they get the milk from. read more

Delicious food and sweets everyone is friendly courteous helpful. Very clean great seating annnd atmosphere

Amazing. My husband and I shared a peanut butter banana split explosion. Three different peanut butter ice cream scoops were some of the most decadent ice cream we've ever eaten. Toppings were there to showcase not drown out the ice cream. A banana of course , hot fudge, peanut butter, Reese's peanut butter bits, fresh whipped cream and cherries. The place was clean and the staff pleasant. We demolished that sundae. Prices were very reasonable. There is definitely a next time in our future. read more

We love it here ! This is one of our local ice cream spots that visit often throughout the year. Room to sit down inside during all seasons. Outdoor seating when it's nice out. Large selection of ice cream made right there! read more

All I've ever heard is how great this place is and I finally tried it about 20min ago and I'm deeply disappointed. I got the strawberry cheesecake milkshake and it had no gram cracker/strawberry chunks or cheesecake chunks, it was just a normal strawberry milkshake. If you want strawberry cheesecake ice cream just go to dairy queen. read more

We travel from NYC to get our ice cream. It is worth to come to this place. The staffs are young people and quick.

The locals in Boyertown told me about this place and I salute them for a great recommendation! I said to my family, we're in Berks county, there are farms, gotta be cows and fresh ice cream somewhere! We certainly found that place! Lots of parking on their side lot with country views all around. We walked into a covered seating area in the front, through a door and then boom there's a line of people waiting to order. It moved pretty fast, you order and then move to the side to wait for your number to be called. The inside looks old school with a country feel. You can buy pints, quarts, drinks and look around at some signage on the walls. Most people were laser focused on watching for their number to be called as the staff put together orders behind the counter. They had quite a list of flavors to choose from and the freezers with to-go product were loaded with a decent amount of their top sellers as well as limited flavors. I had to go with chocolate peanut butter curl, but what I received was a chunky PB cup which was vanilla ice cream with chunks of Reese's cups. I guess the kid taking my order didn't hear me correctly. The rest of the fam went with mint chocolate chip and coffee. I don't think it matters what flavor you get this ice cream is legit. Holy Cow seems to be an appropriate statement. Melts in your mouth was my first thought, creamy, soft and fresh. Absolutely delicious ice cream, we sat and ate in the seating area and as you looked around you could barely hear anyone talking, just eating. It was funny to see some customers dogs so well behaved because they were completely distracted by the heavenly treat in front of them. I know what your thinking, sure most ice cream accomplishes this, but this place is on another level. Take the trip and reward yourself with Longacre's! Thanks so much guys!! read more

OMG ... the ambience is such a throwback to my childhood ice cream shop ... and the ice cream is out of this world great! Smooth, creamy, fab taste ... check it out, you'll luv it! read more

I must say, it is VERY difficult to find good, real banana ice cream. And this place has it! I was able to purchase an entire half gallon of it to take home with me. They have so many flavor options which is fantastic for a person who likes flavors that are hard to find! I am currently eating their cotton candy flavored ice cream and it is the best cotton candy ice cream that I have ever had in my entire life! Outstanding! I almost walked back inside just to tell them but thought the compliment would do better on here! Their shop is also adorable and gives me the warm, fuzzy feeling of nostalgia, even though I have never been there before. It also smells amazing! Thank you to the lovely staff at Longacres, for the delicious ice cream and the warm inviting atmosphere! :) read more

Purchasing half gallon containers of ice cream as Christmas gifts has been a tradition for me, the gift giver, and ;my children and grandchildren, the recipients. I make a list of these recipients and their choice of ice cream flavor. Since it's at least 10 half gallons, being able to pre-order has made purchasing much easier than my getting them out of the freezer one by one. Everyone looks forward to taking their very own ice cream home because they know how delicious it's going to be. Merry Christmas! read more

Great place in the summer ice cream, environment is underwhelming but choices are plentiful

They have by far the best ice cream I have ever tasted. The rum raisin and maple walnut are my personal favorites. I really miss the soft serve because they made the very best "blizzard-type" treats in the world and wish I could have the pumpkin praline one now. Kudos to Longacre Dairy. read more

Good ice cream. Great place to bring your kids and grandkids! Flavors and toppings choices to suit every taste!

First time ever having their peanut butter curl. This is really good ice cream! Most definitely worth a visit of you're anywhere near here!

So during my weekend trip to Pennsylvania my cousin mentioned this ice cream spot to me, she said it was pretty good so we decided to take a drive just before they closed at nine for some ice cream and we were second on line with no one behind us. When we got to the cashier to place our order and looked behind us the line was extremely long and that's always a good indication that any eating spot is good. I do recommend this place and I would be returning when I'm in town. I got the vanilla and peanut butter ice cream which was good but my favorite was the cherry garden for sure. So if you're in Pennsylvania definitely give this place a try. read more

The absolute creamiest ice cream that I have had. My favorite is the cherry vanilla. This is the only place where there is a cherry in every spoonful. They do not skimp on the lucious black cherries. It's worth the wait because there is usually a line. read more

On my first bite of ice cream here I just knew it was the best to ever exist. I absolutely love this place!

I only wish this quaint, small town treasure of a creamery was closer.....The kids behind the counter were the best, the chocolate milk was thick and creamy without being too sweet The chocolate chip ice cream was the best I've ever had and the wife's butter scotch was excellent. Take the drive through the country and stop at Longacre's for a true taste of a bygone era where quality trumps quantity and smiles are the currency of the day. read more

The ice cream is delicious, but the customer service needs some work. I stopped in to buy a few pints of their ice cream including the new flavor of the month. I understood that this one was going to be hand dipped. I assumed that they would fill up a plastic pint container. Instead, the girl comes out with a flimsy Chinese take out container with aluminum foil covering the top. I'm lucky this thing didn't make a mess in my car on the way home. They also didn't mention there was a up charge for hand dipped. Second, the employees here need better training on their credit card system. The customer in line in front of me got tired of waiting for the girls to figure out how to charge her credit card and left to find an ATM. I stood and waited ten minutes for an elderly woman and four teenagers to figure out how to successfully charge my card. More training would definitely be a good idea. read more

If you ever heard of a "soda fountain" from the 1950s or just want to get some legit home made home grown ice cream products this is your place. Middle of nowhere PA and they have both traditional scoop ice cream and soft serve and not like DQ with the 3 standard flava they are making season changes like apple strudel that I got today. The shop has plenty of other snacks and drinks, seating for plenty and a clean rest room. The place literally screams "'Merica" read more

Delicious! We saw it on the way to a stable and made a note to stop by on our way back. They have many ice cream flavors and it was hard to choose one. I picked a mini cone of Tin Roof (vanilla ice cream with chocolate covered peanuts) and hubby got a mini cone of Vanilla Curl (vanilla ice cream with creamy peanut butter). The ice creams were very fresh, creamy, and tasty. Each mini cone was very big - what seemed liked three scoops! Definitely stop by for a sweet fix. read more

Can't believe it's taken me so long to find this place!!! Read a few great reviews and decided to place an order for pick up over the weekend. We grabbed a few pints and half gallons just to keep the freezer stocked (you know, "pandemic necessities")... As someone who isn't crazy about cheesecake, the Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream was insanely delicious, though I fell head over heels for the cake batter!! Guess I'll be going back sooner than I anticipated!! We still have to try the coffee and pb curl flavors we grabbed. Looks like this will be our go-to spot this summer!! read more

Amazing place. Ice cream is great and people are always so friendly. I love being able to get fresh milk as well.

We love their ice cream and we always get a few gallons of chocolate milk too. Mmmmmmmm

Quality homemade ice cream and vegan alternatives. Friendly staff and allergy aware featuring a peanut free zone.

Longacre's dairy is a must stop local staple for ice cream. They have a full section of scoop ice cream, sundaes, and floats. Depending on the time of day you may have to wait in line, however it moves fast and sooo worth it. They even have options for individuals with lactose intolerance. Go hungry because even the baby serving size of ice cream is generous. They also have a menu if you are hungry for more than just ice cream. read more

$$$$ and long wait time due to slow and not enough staff....would rather get a gallon of Turkey Hill at the store next time...
