It doesn't seem like they have a lot of Cantonese food in this neck of the woods, so extra points for this bakery that serves up dim sum, congee and rice dishes. This is a bakery but I had no interest in eating the baked goods. I came here for the food! I ordered shrimp dumplings and shrimp rice noodles dim sum (under $2 each). If you're expecting restaurant quality dim sum, you'll be disappointed. It's not bad tasting, but the dumplings skin stuck to the paper and the rice noodles had only one tiny shrimp in each noodle. But with the cheap prices of their dishes, I can't really complain about them. Definitely worth a try if you crave dim sum. I also ordered the highly recommended chicken and salted fish fried rice ($5.50). This was really good! It had silky chicken, green peas, carrots, some eggs, and yummy salted fish. Come here to enjoy cheap and good Cantonese food if you're in the neighborhood.

Dim sum is mediocre at best. But the service and quickness is good. I like their ice lemon tea. Great bites for the local community.

The drink had the perfect balance of flavor--not too sweet, very refreshing, and the green tea taste came through nicely. The tapioca pearls were soft and chewy, just the right texture. On top of that, the BOGO deal made it an amazing value. Definitely one of the best bubble tea spots I've tried, and I'll be ordering again!

The menu is pretty expansive and covers what you'd expect from a boba place, including fresh fruit teas, brown sugar bobas, yakult drinks, matcha ones, and the normal milk teas. It's interesting that the drinks only came in one size according to the type. I ordered a honeydew milk tea, and tried to get it as a small or medium, but they only had large. Boba was also an extra 75 cents. The drink itself was ok, it was both very sweet and watery. You couldn't taste any tea flavor. The boba was below average and there was hardly any in the drink. It didn't even fully cover the bottom of the cup. They were pretty soft, but didn't have any flavor. My friend got the standard milk tea and it also tasted pretty watery. The service was also pretty slow. The woman who took our order was a bit rude and we had to actively try to flag her down, even though the restaurant was empty. Overall, I wouldn't come back for boba. Tbar, which is nearby is a much better alternative.

On my most recent visit, I decided to go for a poke salad (no rice) to keep things low-carb. I chose the spicy salmon as my protein, and loaded it up with cucumber, edamame, mushrooms, kani salad, pickled ginger, green onion, kimchi, seaweed salad, roasted seaweed, and topped it off with the spicy ginger sauce. It did take a bit of time to assemble, but the fresh flavors and variety of toppings made it worth the wait. My favorite toppings were the mushrooms and the kani salad for sure. I appreciated the different protein options, as well as the many sauce options. One thing I really like about Pokebowl Station is the flexibility--whether you want a premade poke bowl or want to build your own. You can choose from sushi burritos, white rice or brown rice bowls, or a poke salad (no rice), which is great for different dietary preferences. They have a little card where you can mark your choices, which makes ordering easy and clear for both you and the staff. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there, but the bowls are also easy to take home. Overall, it's a reliable spot with fresh ingredients and lots of options to mix and match!

The star of the show: purple yam souffle with vanilla ice cream is chefs kiss!! I thought I couldn't like any dessert more than their chocolate molten lava cake but this one definitely takes the spot. Top two desserts they have! Even when I had lava cakes at fancy establishments, it doesn't hold a candle to prince tea house! Their crepe cakes are also alright but I've found the to be less unique and enjoyable especially the brown sugar boba which sometimes comes out in clumps hard to pour onto the cake. Their food selection is decent for sandwiches like chicken katsu and also fries. Their fruity teas aren't my style but their hot milk teas are amazing. The lavender green tea was more green tea which was disappointing, hoped to taste more lavender. The best one is the rose lovers milk tea, literally perfection each time. Unfortunately, this place may no longer be my usual. My favorite part of this place is that the serves don't really care about you in the sense that the bring you food and leave you alone. However, they now impose mandatory 20% tip on all tables even for table of 1 or 2. This location only. As someone who realizes the servers here simply bring food and nothing else here (which I actually love as I don't like to be bothered) but expect a high mandatory tip, this is not the way to go. Especially since there have been numerous occasions where servers are nowhere to be seen and refuse to service you for something as simple as napkins or a check if they're not your server, this is an absurd addition. Definitely visiting less now that this happened. The most bothersome is that it's mandatory. Doesn't seem right/ethical and makes it feel less genuine. Had the pleasure of visiting other prince tea house locations and the service seems better, even water without asking, surprising cash discount, and most importantly: don't impose this mandatory tip! Not sure what changed here but not what it used to be with this and it needs to change. TDLR: -best options here: rose lovers milk teas, chocolate lava cake, purple yam soufflé -major con: new mandated 20% tip!! on all tables, even table of 1 or 2, which is unheard of at other prince tea house locations and even fancy restaurants!

Didn't taste well either, clearly not fresh and disappointing compared to last time with the same exact order. Also tried something new: the ovaltine toast. It was alarmingly small and didn't have as much flavor as was hoping. The place was also not crowded late at night but the server seemed annoyed/bothered when we requested to sit on the couches and coincidentally a bigger table for 4 when we had 2 even though we had bags. Overall the food quality definitely decreased and service not as welcoming. Definitely still a solid place for classic HK dessert but definitely with well deserved competition in the area.

I really liked the texture of the soufflé pancake and the cream was so tasty. Unfortunately, after eating one pancake, I ran out of cream for the rest, so I definitely wish there was a little bit more to go around. Wasn't the biggest fan of the milk tea, but it did the trick.
