We spent just over $42 for food. Sat in the drive through waiting on food for about 15 with no one before us. One of the meals didn't have the side (Fries) even with it. The fries that actually made it into the box were inedible. Seriously!! They were HORRIBLE! After waiting that long for our food we were convinced the food would be really hot. Not the case at all!! How do you wait that long and not have fresh hot food? This place has literally made me never want to eat at LJS ever again. Good work, Topeka LJS. read more

I was just at this restaurant and sat at the drive thru for 5 minutes. Then I tried talking to the microphone, heard the other end pick up but no response. Backed up, tried again no response. The lights are on I see employees inside but evidently they decided not to take drive-through orders tonight? While I was at Walgreens drive thru I saw the same thing happened to another car, then saw a woman park and she walked up to drive through window - they opened the window and handed her a bag of food. 27 minutes to get my order!! The drive thru customers have priority. Every 5-10 minutes the cashier would say, "we are cooking your fish fresh." Ten minutes later, "we are cooking your chicken strips fresh." Ten minutes later, and after the cook comes out to grab a soda and have a conversation with the cashier, then it's "we are cooking your hush puppies fresh." So my 20 minutes old fish sat back there while the drive thru orders were coming and going every 4-5 minutes. read more

This location is absolutely disgusting! The floor is sticky with spilled soda, there are lids scattered on the floor. The staff is arguing about who needs to do what, meanwhile the inside customers are waiting 10+minutes for their food. Woman working front and window just saying she's out at 8... it's 750 right now. I would not come to this location..... read more

Quick and friendly service! Fish was fast and the fries were piping hot. Only complaint is they specifically asked if I wanted Tarter Sauce, I said yes, and then they didn't put any in the bag. Ah, well. It was still yummy. read more

Once in a while, you just need some greasy fish in your system. Thankfully, Long John Silvers is good for that. Best things are the hush puppies and the fries which are fried in the same grease as the fish. Its a chain restaurant that serves mainly fish and chips. So I'm guessing you already know what's here. So far, haven't had any problems with this location. Its relatively easy to get to. If you're going in from highway 24, you can take a back road that takes you right here. read more

I went there for lunch and ordered the fish and chicken platter. The plan was to eat the fish and fries for lunch and have the chicken for dinner. I got home and realized they had not given me the chicken I had ordered and payed for. I then proceeded to eat the fish and fries as planned while they were still hot. I then took my receipt back to the store and explained what had happened. I was told (very rudely) that the General Manager had personally checked my box and they would not give me the chicken I had payed for because I did not have the rest of the food I had ordered with me. If that's a policy it makes no since to me but the worst part is how rude they were to me and basically called me a liar which I most certainly am not. Walked in at 12:20 P.M. The customer in front ordered and then cancelled her order, because the food was too expensive. We ordered our meals, they were out of coleslaw and crispies (!). The ice machine was out of ice and they never refilled it in the 40 minutes we were there. One drive through customer walked in because her order was mess.. There was a couple that took an order to go, a couple in the back dining area whose order was messed up and a single man who waited 8 minutes to get ice for his drink. There were also a three drive through orders. One staff person was trying to handle the counter, drive through, and delivering meals to the tables. The cook only managed to get two orders correct out of about 8 total which caused the counter clerk to have to keep redoing and correcting orders. She was very frustrated because the cook, "Bill," kept messing up the orders. We note that prices have mostly doubled and in some cased trebled (fish tacos have gone from $1 to 3 for $8). Condiment pumps are now gone and the tartar sauce in the packets is runny (UCK). Is is under new management? IF NOT IT NEEDS TO BE! Unless you have a discount coupon and plenty of time to wait I'd skip this train wreck! Positively will never again recommend the place. The prices have gone crazy! read more
