This Jimmy Johns is literally the slowest JJ I've been too, not just in in Topeka. It used to be quick when it first opened up, but over time, the drive through has become super slow and does not at all exemplify the "speedy" service the JJ Corp advertises. We only ever order 3-4 sandwiches and man it takes forever. We've dined in before and there has been random soda and water bottles thrown on the ceiling supports by employees, attested to by other employees. The last time we went through the drive-through recently on a weekend, one poor gal was doing everything, she was literally by herself. She was totally rocking it, don't get me wrong. Tasty, quick, affordable lunch. They have a bunch of "extras" you can add to your sandwich free of charge, but I didn't realize it till it was too late. Next time, I'll get the cucumbers... It was a good Turkey Sandwich (#4) for under $5. (I didn't order chips and just had water and it was plenty food to last me a good 4-5 hours.) This location just opened up and was clean, well lit, friendly, and had fast service. We'll see if that changes once North Topeka realizes they have a new restaurant. I have only ordered twice from Jimmy Johns and both were from this location. The first time IIordered I specifically put in the notes that they should that they should text me when they arrive so I can make arrangements to grab my food. They did not text though and came into the office and intereputed me while I was on a call. This was the specific reason I wanted them to text so we could communicate while I was taking a call. The second time I ordered from this place it took 55 minutes for me to get my food. I only was given two minutes to eat my food as I had to get back to work. At the 40 minute mark I called the store to get an update. The girl on the phone told me that 2 drivers were out on deliveries and that my food was "probably" on the way. I told her it was now 45 minutes and my lunch was going to be over soon. After I said that there was complete silence on the other end and so I had to hang up as I guess she did not want to answer any more of my questions. The terrible part to all of this is that I have no problem waiting that long for food. I can always order so it arriives during my lunch. My issue is that they base their business model off being fast and there was nothing fast about my delivery. Worst service EVER!!!! Manager was of no help with the online app they instructed me to use once I was there. The manager kept telling me that i had to call corporate and just "google" to get the number. THERE IS NO PHONE NUMBER FOR JIMMY JOHN'S CORPORATE. It's pretty sad when even the manager is not properly trained and I hope only compensated for her knowledge and manner which is not much more than $1.00 worth of service. I waited in line in the drive thru for 30 min. When I got to the window, finally there were 5 employees inside. There is no reason for this in a place that advertises itself as "freaky fast". Dissapointing and I wont be back read more

Good food, fast service, and polite staff. I've been here for lunch and dinner, and they are always on their game.

I've been coming to this JJ's for a few months... couple times every few weeks. Service is decent. But today beats it all. Kid didn't give me change back. Once the order was finished, he was as far from the window as he could be. Didn't think I'd ask for my change??? Think again... I'm not funding your college shenanegans... He was told he didn't give me change...but not an apology or anything nice, no customer service, nothing...just the change... I was trying to be polite... wow. That's the worst at this JJ's so far. While enjoying my delicious sandwich, I decided to peruse the reviews for this location of Jimmy John's and was shocked. Seriously?! A one star review for the lack of roast beef? Look, if you want a sandwich that has a LOT of meat on it, order from #7-#17 - The *Giant* Club Sandwiches. I personally order the Big John just about every time I go in (#2) and I'm never dissatisfied. I've never had a wrong order, so maybe that was an unfortunate event for the other reviewer. Tasty and fast but they messed up both sandwich orders. It was still good so I'm gonna give them one more shot.

Orders were messed up when we called them in which is what they told us to do since we're outside their delivery zone in downtown. Like another comment made, there were no animals harmed in the making of these subs. There was so little meat and cheese, I should've just got the veggie and paid less. read more

Delicious, fast service, polite staff!! I always get a craving for their sandwiches! Their bread is chewy and crunchy in all the right ways! I prefer their bread over subway believe it or not and I love subway food! If I'm in a hurry (or not) it's the perfect place to grab a yummy, quick meal!! read more
