The Celtic Fringe is worth the drive. Out in Reidsville, at the edge of its downtown, it's…read morecertainly worth a culinary treat with a little bit of small town exploration. Start the meal off right with some Patatas Bravas. Double-fried potatoes with a tasty salsa and garlic aioli. Those went by quick! It's savory with a hint of spice. For the dinner service entrees, the real winner is the Fish and Chips. It's a huge battered haddock fillet over a bed of fries, accompanied by cabbage slaw and tartar sauce. Don't forget the malt vinegar to pair with the fries! The haddock was done perfectly, as it was both crispy and juicy. It was filling, but not over the top. Quality over quantity for sure. The chicken tikka masala is also a nice touch to the menu. A bit different from the rest, but not overly left of field. It was spiced to be flavorful but not overpowering. The chicken was nice and tender. The herb rice was decent, but still paired well as a sidekick to the tikka masala. Feeling desserts? Leave some space for the tuxedo cake. It's very rich and a solid bite to close out the meal. Shoutout to the wonderful waitress who executed everything without an issue. Reservations are recommended. I'll certainly be back.

The pub…read morehas a classic, very dark interior that definitely sets a specific "old-world" mood, and the two-level layout adds some nice character to the space. Our service was a little hit-or-miss. Our waiter was also managing the bar, which meant we weren't checked on as often as we would have liked. When we ordered, the items weren't read back to us, and unfortunately, the order did come out incorrectly. The drinks definitely a highlight! They were well-made and didn't skim on the alcohol. The meal was perfectly fine, but nothing particularly stood out as spectacular. It's solid pub fare if you're looking for a casual bite. Overall, McCoul's is a decent spot for a strong drink and a cozy, dim atmosphere. I'd love to see a bit more attentiveness on the floor, but it's still a place worth stopping by if you're in downtown Greensboro.

They have a good selection of Irish food and of course an extensive beverage menu. I have been to Ireland and M'Coul's does have that vibe of an Irish pub which is pretty cool, especially the first level. I have visited for just drinks and other times for a meal with my family and it's always a good vibe. I love getting their boxty for brunch for something fun and different.

They blocked off part of the parking lot, had live music going, and the whole place had that fun, lively energy you want on a holiday like this. Because of the crowd, the menu was trimmed down to the more popular items, but it still had plenty of good options. I ended up getting their Irish eggrolls, they're hand‑rolled and stuffed with house‑cured corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, then sliced and served with their Thousand Island dressing. Basically, it's all the flavors of a Reuben wrapped up in a crispy shell, simple, rich, and exactly the kind of thing that works well at an event like this because its quick and its finger food you can eat while watching the band,. Overall, the atmosphere was great, parking is such a hassle though during these events on the weekend because H-Mart nearby is already so packed. You can park on the other side of the building if you don't mind a brief walk though.

I was greeted, then seated. I was provided a menu and specials...Prime Rib! After my hectic day, yes I will have that! I mentioned gluten free to my server before making decision. Plus seeing the loaded potato had me a bit worried as I cannot ear pork. I opted for salad once server checked to see if Caesar salad dressing is gf sans croutons. I requested salad with dressing on the side and to bring promptly before my dinner. Salad arrived by and server dressed and it was glistening.... I requested one with dressing on the side...server brought maybe I had two bites and dinner arrived! Salad can wait...prime rib cannot, even though I start with tasting potato. Prime rib was requested mid rare and it delivered. Potato was fine. I did not see the au jus nor horseradish sauce on the side. I did ask server while I was ready to pack it up and he said there was some confusion if there was/was not no gluten so not provided. Noteworthy as the salad a manager stopped by about the dressing and mentioned one type of salad dressing is now gf and one vegan. Good to have options. Disappointed to learn the fries are coated with flour then fried as an option with burger skip the bun...what about baked chips or air fry for those with food sensitivities as an alternative? Just a thought for management to consider please. I saved room for dessert and the mousse did not disappoint and was compted .... thank you! Fantastic! As I looked around there was a steady crowd entering along with regular patrons. Overall 4.5 stars for this visit. On a side note, this is a family friendly restauran/pub. Some servers look disheveled between sloppy hair and untidy uniform. For staff with long hair should be pulled back tight and away from food will prevent hair on the food! Uniform is simple black top and pants....should be clean and neat. A few servers looked like they rolled out of bed...if they are feeling ill, please stay home. Servers should make diners and patrons have a positive and pleasant experience and my server was definitely on point with emphasis on customer service and satisfaction....keep it up! Lastly, females please wear a bra or sports bra or a proper garment under uniform as it is family friendly restaurant, thank you!
