Went here today for lunch and it was about 12:00 PM. This was my first visit to a Long John's in many years but because of that it sounded like a nice change to try it again. I got the fish, shrimp and chicken meal today. The two pieces of fish were both very tasty and the best part of my meal to be honest. The chicken was a terrible piece of chicken and extremely tough. My lunch partner also said his chicken wasn't good. The corn and coleslaw were pretty basic. The hush puppies taste nothing like I remember. Tasted like all filler and no seasoning. That said I realize sometimes the food can be hit and miss but one thing that bothers me was how extremely filthy the entire dining room was at this time of day. If it were lunch rush or dinner hour I could see it being a little messy, but this place was open for an hour by the time I arrived, and the tables were filthy, the floors filthy, the drink station filthy. Just overall not pleasing to the eye whatsoever. I probably will not be back to this location ever. 1 star for the fish and -4 stars for everything else. Plus this meal and a drink cost me $20+. I can get a real meal for that cost with tip at a nice sit down restaurant. read more

We stop at Long John's about once a month and always receive great fish and chicken fillets. I like the green beans and cole slaw as my sides. The service is always quick and pleasant. this is a great family restaurant. read more

Worst food in Peoria. The cook can't read the orders have them mixed up. The fish wasn't cooked all the way threw. Took food out of box threw it back in the fryer did same with hush puppies. Gave someone else my order. No gloves on sicking don't go there to eat. This place needs to be shut down. I will never go back there. Shut it down. read more

So I'm sitting in line for 20 minutes just to get to the part where you order another 15 minutes to get to where you have to pay get home to eat my food my order messed up no coleslaw so I called them and tell them about it she basically got an attitude with me and told me she can send me a card for some coleslaw that come with every meal that I'm going to get if I come back there next time or I can come back and get it no my whole meal was messed up replace my order No I got to be petty and call corporate email corporate both give me a whole bag full of vinegar don't what do you even put vinegar on at long long john silvers read more

Was just at the Long John Silvers on Knoxville in Peoria. Normally they have good service. Tonight it stunk! We waited over a half hour for or food! The staff stood around and looked like they had no clue what they were doing. We used to have 3 LJS restaurants in Peoria and then they closed 2 of them for some reason and now we are forced to go to this one and the service ranges from good when they feel like to awful like today. We need to get another LJS restaurant to be built in Peoria or else get better management and crew at this one. read more

I can't believe i am going to do this but i am giving Long John Silvers 5 stars. The pieces of fish and chicken seemed larger and they were fixed perfectly being nice and crunchy. For going through the drive-thru the meal still seems really fresh when getting home. Hushpuppies and mac n cheese were great and the cole slaw is not like kfc but its edible. I love what i call the crunchies at the bottom of the box. Friendly quick service so i will be back to this location. read more

I would recommend getting a taco combo (3) with 2 chorizo and 1 carne asada taco with rice and beans. I wouldn't recommend the birria tacos. The price is high for the amount of food that you get. Our lunch was 36 dollars without tip! Water only to drink.

I was so happy when chick-fil-a came to Peoria! It is by far…read moremy favorite fast food breakfast!!! I always try to rush over before 10:30 (that is when they stop serving breakfast). I love the bagel chicken sandwich and most recently have been loving the chicken biscuit sandwich (I add egg and cheese)! I don't typically like the eggs on my fast food breakfast sandwiches, but chick-fil-a eggs are sooo good! I usually get honey for my biscuit and if I get the bagel sandwich I get the chick-fil-a sauce to dip! The hash browns are also so good! I always get the iced coffee with breakfast too (I ask for it with no milk) and I add the vanilla flavor to it! I usually add almond milk to it once I get home, but it also tastes fine without milk too! For lunch/dinner I typically get the spicy chicken sandwich with the cheese/tomato/pickle and of course the waffle fries! I also like the nuggets! They also have Coke Zero... which I feel a lot of places don't have and I prefer it to Diet Coke! The diet lemonade is also yummy (it is yellow lemonade which I prefer to pink)! I hear they have delicious cookies, but have yet to try one! They staff is also super friendly and when you bring your dog through the drive through they offer a milk bone treat which is so nice! My dog loves it!
