We had a large order. It included 4 drinks. 1 was a diet coke and 1 was a regular coke. They didn't mark them in any way to let us know which was which. When I called about it I had to wait awhile to talk to a manager. When I did talk with him he gave a basic apology, said that they always mark them and asked me to check again. When I confirmed the mistake, he restated that they usually mark them and it must have slipped through. He again gave me a basic apology, then asked if everything else was fine. I said I didn't know because we weren't finished. He didn't offer anything to make up for the mix-up. When I started my dessert I realized that I hadn't received the 1/2 of a peanut butter cup that they showed in the picture. for some context i'm a VERY loyal chillis triple dipper fan.. i had ordered one as a pickup and i usually always get the same thing (nashville hot mozz,southwestern eggrolls,and Honey chipotle chicken crispers) but i love honey chipotle so much i decided to change it up and try the HC mozz... i got home and i had plain mozz :( was very very sad.. i called up chillis and the manager was put onto the phone and was SUPER apologetic and reassured me that i could come back and get my HC mozz... well i had worked all day and have a 5 month old i j put down to sleep so i was not trying to go back out... he then said he could give it to me in a gift card so as a huge chillis fan i said yes ofc and he again apologized for the mixup and emailed me a gift card that would cover a whole new triple dipper !! yes i was upset i didn't get my HC mozz but now i can go back n get a whole nother triple dipper and the mozz i wanted.. thank you to the guy manager that was there !! love you chillis read more

I have a love/hate relationship with Chili's. The last time we were there, the food was really good, and the service was great. There's been previous visits though, were you don't receive your drinks for at least 20 mins., apps taking 40 mins., food is cold, and the servers are overrun with tons of tables due to staffing, which causes delays, which I completely get. Maybe if restaurants treated their employees better, they would have more employees. We still go back from time to time though. It's a comfort food place to me. read more

Very slow service, waited 20 minutes for Margaritas ordered. One Margarita glass had a broken rim. My daughter was served the broken glass. She drank from the glass a cut her tongue. I asked for the manager. He response was to get a replacement drink. She struggled to eat her entire with the cut on her tongue and was unable to drink the margarita. Friday night was the second time I've used the curbside pickup. The first time my food was never brought out to me, despite checking in. I went inside, got my food, and went home. Mistakes happen I understand that. Friday I used the curbside pickup again, except this time I was unable to go inside, as I had my baby with me. I wouldn't have been able to carry her in the car seat, plus the bag of food and drinks. I was told what time my food would be ready, then checked in once I got there. I waited for 5 minutes, still no food. Then I waited 10 minutes, still not food. Finally after 20 minutes I was so irritated I called to find out what was going on. The person who answered the phone was incredibly rude, then hung up on me. It wasn't until then someone brought me my order. I expressed concern that my food would be cold since it had been sitting out for 20 minutes, to which I was told by the young lady "There's nothing I can do for you". I get home and my entree is cold, not even room temp, but completely cold. All my condiments had condensation on them from sitting out so long, and were warm. So warm that I wasn't able to eat it. I have been a loyal customer for quite some time, and I try to be as understanding as possible, but I am extremely frustrated and angry that I paid for food that had to be thrown away once again. If I wouldn't have called to ask about my order, they probably would have never brought it out. Not to mention this isn't the first time it's happened. I called and asked to speak with management and was put on hold. While on hold the phone was picked up then hung up. I've reached out to the establishment through a private message on Yelp, as well as an email. Neither have been responded to. The girl brought it out, i drove home, got all the way home and it wasn't my order. i called and asked for my order to be refunded as i don't want what they gave me. The girl that answered told me their policy is i have to bring it back, That is RIDICULOUS !!! Chilis gave me the wrong order, YOUR employee should have made sure the correct order was in the bag. Lunch companion ordered the $10.00 chicken tenders meal. Chicken was drowned in standing grease and were not edible. The rest of the meal was ok. BAKED POTATO SOUP Generally speaking we always enjoy Chili's, but throughout Covid (and since) it seems like the Baked Potato soup has been watered down and isn't nearly as thick and gooey as it once was. Perhaps it's an effort to increase profits, but it fells like you're drinking flavored broth. Not many potatoes and no grated cheese. From now on if we only want soup, I think we'll head to Panera. When in Peoria this weekend, it was hard to find a restaurant that 3 friends with absolutely different tastes could all agree on. Chili's was one that we all thought sounded good, so we decided to go there for a late lunch. It's a chain restaurant, so I won't bore you with what you already know. The service was excellent. If you're keeping up with my past reviews, you know that service is one of the most important things to me. I can eat at any restaurant, so I'd prefer to get a genuine smile along with my food. Another mom and pop restaurant we went to on Friday could take some tips on the service front. I ordered the lunch portion of chicken fajitas. Normally one of my favorite entrees at Chilis, these were only okay--something was off with them. However, I did like their lunch menu. You can get a soup or salad with any of the lunch portions for $6, $7 or $8. My friend got the Southwest mac and cheese (which I almost ordered) and she loved it. I ordered the Spicy Chicken and Sausage soup and it was phenomenal. It was mostly a veggie soup, but it had little pieces of meat and a nice kick to it. I would go back to Chilis just to get some more of the soup. I also heard another waitress say that a lot of the menu has changed. I'm not sure if it's for the better since I ordered the same ol' thing, but I did see a bunch of menu items that looked good. Side note, the Ziosks (self-pay device) that are at your table need to be implemented at every single restaurant in Illinois. They make it so easy to split the check, add a tip and pay with your card at the table. read more

We wanted to try out the Dr. Pepper baby back ribs so in we went for the two for $20 with no high expectations, surprisingly, it was a pretty good experience, we were promptly seated at a table, the waitress was friendly & professional helping us through our two for twenty offerings. We chose the fried cheese (mozz) app to share which came out fresh, hot & gooey with marinara sauce, dr. pepper baby back ribs, a nice helping (five bones) these were very good for a chain restaurant, smokey flavoring with savory & sweet melding perfectly, tender and juicy too, the side of broccoli with melted butter on the side was fresh as well. I don't expect much from a generic chain restaurant, they are all pretty much variations on a theme. This Chili's failed to meet even those low expectations. The bar area is crowded, not with people, but with tables, crammed in so tight you can't really even walk through the area. The entire bar area had a stale funk smell to it. This comes from poor cleaning practices and the inability to remove the mung from the various nooks and crannies where it collects over time. All I can think is that if you can't even clean the customer facing areas, how clean can the behind the scenes activities be? The food was ok, though the ranch dipping sauce was thin and so watered down it just dripped right back off of anything placed on to it. I used the car side to-go, I easily ordered online what the family wanted and drove to get it up at my designated pick up time. Once I arrived I arrived I texted the store "here" and they brought my food right out. Everything was packaged nicely and labeled, that meant no digging thru containers to find who's food is who's once we got home. When it comes to Chili's, you have to go with the combos and specials they have. Anything else is expensive and a disappointment. Wait time for the food has dramatically improved but service is still pretty lazy about beverage refills. My friend advised me to get the 3 for $10 deal which I did. However, I made the foolish mistake of getting an appetizer sampler as well. The crispers were small and stiff. The sliders were below average, and the fried pickles fell apart and tasted generic. The sauces that accompanied the sampler did nothing to improve the taste. Now, what amazed me was how great the 3 for $10 deal was. The strawberry lemonade had free refills, and was very sweet and refreshing. The chicken enchilada soup was a knockout flavor-wise to the point I almost wanted to order another bowl of it. The Margarita Chicken was also great but make sure you DO NOT get it with the beans. Substitute them for the awesome blossom petals for a $1. I would definitely recommend this location again for a bargain lunch/dinner. The baby back ribs are not worth it so don't bother with them. read more

I seriously cannot compliment the to-go staff enough. Wrapped every part of my food perfectly and carefully placed in nice boxes. Food was steaming hot after a 10 minute drive in -40 degree weather. I've never experienced any place that has packaged my to-go food so nicely. read more
